Which means Maddie could have had the accident on Sunday as per the MMRG, but didn't die until the Wednesday as per Mr Stellander...so we could both be right.
But now what about Cecilia Paula Dias Firmino do Carmo who claims to have seen Maddie on the Thursday?
I'll bet @HiDeHo has made a video about her somewhere...

There were a few things that point to this scenario.
Rachael's quote about them being medics who could resuscitate a child
Claims that Russell O'Brien was caring for Madeleine in his apartment
At least one of the group being absent from the table every night
But then, how did Madeleines' corpse end up behind the McCann's sofa? Unless of course, there was a swap of apartments.

I can't believe they would leave a sick child with anyone while they carried on with their tennis/jogging activities.

Was it a corpse, though, or a very injured Maddie (on Sunday) as Eddie could have alerted to blood, not cadaver - which is why she wasn't seen during the week...then died on Wednesday.sharonl wrote:But then, how did Madeleines' corpse end up behind the McCann's sofa? But then Cecilia the witness saw her on the Thursday morning at breakfast

It was hardly a sudden impulse to wait until Wednesday if she died on Sunday.

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
This is the list of everyone that 'saw' Madeleine during the holiday according to their statements.
Fátima María Serafim da Silva Espada (5A Cleaner's daughter) - Credible
Cecilia Dias Firmino - Receptionist at Millenium - described a shy Madeleine and saw them on days they were not at restaurant. - Therefore, not proof that she saw Madeleine...She may have seen one of the other tapas children
Jeronimo Salcedes - Tapas Barman - Admits to not being able to recognise if it was Madeleine.
Maria M A Jose - Tapas Cook - Described seeing Madeleine every lunchtime in the tapas next to the creche Madeleine attended, but Madeleine did not go to that creche so she was mistaken with which child she saw.
Luisa Ana de Noronha de Azevedo Coutinho ( Receptionist) - Claims to have seen Madeleine with ROB but his daughter was not in the creche that morning and looks very similar to Madeleine so likely mistaken.
Georgina Jackson - Tennis instructor - Was non specific about seeing Madeleine...only that she was part of the group for that morning.
Bridget O'Donnell - Jez Wilkins partner - Claimed 'all pretty in pink' for the mini tennis with the Sharks on Thursday...Madeleine's group played on Tuesday, so she was mistaken that Madeleine may have been there.
Miguel Matias - Owner of Paraiso - Was convinced he saw Madeleine dancing with her daddy and on his shoulders but we KNOW Madeleine was not there...he mistakenly thought another child was Madeleine.
The Boyds Their son supposedly played with Madeleine on the waterslide on May 3rd - They made no statement, just a magazine article that has many discrepancies about its credibility which I can explain further if necessary.
Catriona Baker - Non credible with her statement riddled with discrepancies as well as her trip to visit the McCanns in Rothley does not help with credibility.
Charlotte Pennington - Already accepted as being questionable with many contradictions and discrepancies.
Elisa Dias Romao - Claimed seeing Madeleine at times she was not there.(according to creche records)
Emma Wilding -Did not know Madeleine well and makes incorrect statement about seeing Gerry
Paula Cristina da Costa Vieira Cleaner - Saw them twice leaving Millenium about 9.30 - 10am - The didn't go to Millenium for breakfast
Alice Stanley & Chris Unsworth - Took children sailing May 3rd - Apparently no formal statements from them-
Non Specific comments that do not (imo) confirm Madeleine's presence:-
Jeremy (Jes/Jez) Wilkins
Stephen Carpenter
Daniel Stuk
Are there any of the above witnesses that REALLY DID SEE MADELEINE? I encourage anyone to show me one witness that, according to their statement, PROBABLY saw Madeleine during the week.
Some are obviously mistaken but the remainder (and there are very few considering she was there for more than 5 days) are questionable at best.
For those of us that believe something happened earlier, the statements confirm there is a possibility that she may not have been seen.

Yes, if Maddie walloped her head which caused a subdural haematoma, she wouldn't have necessarily died straightaway.crusader wrote:As Cake Lover said, the O'Brians did go out and leave a sick child.
But Madeleine wasn't sick, she was by all accounts dying from a head injury.
I hope it wasn't the case that rather than dying almost instantly from the fall, instead she lingered on for several days.
If Maddie was in severe pain from her head injury it could explain the need for sedation and the crying for 75 minutes.
There must be some explantion why she wasn't seen after Sunday.

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
It's one thing to claim that on a certain day you saw a child whom you don't know (remember "all blond, pink and pretty"). It's another to report a child who caught your attention at a certain time because she was running after a butterfly, making faces, singing a tune or asking you a question.Jill Havern wrote:Thank you Anne....so, because Keela also alerted behind the sofa, Eddie could have been alerting to blood also.

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
Throughout the book he expresses sympathy for the parents, not only for the accidental death of their first born child, but for the impossible and grave situation they all, including the Tapas 7, and many others are trapped due to what he calls ‘a Sudden Impulse’.crusader wrote:I can't wait to get my book to find out what he means by the sudden impulse.
Gerry. “Sometimes people do things for reasons that even they cannot understand”
“An act of madness and accident or a sudden impulse could lead to consequences that people may never have imagined or intended”
“faced with such a situation we believe any human soul ultimately suffer torment and feelings of guilt and fear”

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
If Maddie suffered a tragic fall on the Sunday but didn't die until the Wednesday, makes me think the McCanns are more evil that I first thought.
Maddie would have needed more than Calpol for a potential haematoma. In which case, did they manage to obtain something stronger or did they just so happen to have some in their luggage?
Which takes me right back to my original pre-planned theory that I can't shake off.

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
Mr Stellander was on the hill for years looking for the sites.
Lt Col Danie Krugel searched the Hill, as did the PJ and Grange...admittedly not in the place that Mr Stellander caught the golden nuggests on field cams...but, still, it must have been an extraordinary feat for the McCanns.
Bravo.
Or maybe they found the spot during a previous holiday when there were no journalists or police monitoring them...maybe Maddie was starting to talk (Gaspar statements).

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
But if someone was in the 'network' they wouldn't personally need to go...someone could have gone for them, someone who knew PdL well.
A 'Robert Murat' type person *insert another name here* etc.
It sounds crazy, but then so does the instant cover-up that started with Blair and Brown and the poisoned chalice handed to Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak...the MET being told to investigate an abduction...and all the people who rushed over to PdL to help sort out the mess, the PJ investigation being archived for political reasons and so on...
None of it makes sense...unless, to me anyway, they were involved in a ring of kiddy-fiddlers.
