Re: OPERATION BRICK !
I like the delphic reference. As I recall Gerry McCann had a damascene moment spurring him into action - action which would make even a cheap public relations company wince.PeterMac wrote:And now H. Fülscher's 'delphic' utterance makes sense

He only has to raise a "reasonable Doubt"
In this case it is Virtual Certainty that Madeleine was NOT abducted between 2118 and 2125 on 3/5/7

Fülscher has taken the Time to actually visit Portugal, and has read the PJ Files.
He tells us in the following interview.

Re: OPERATION BRICK !
Excellent, but how would I know that "FF has been involved in the book for a long time" ? I'm not in the secret of the gods like you, Peter Mac! Besides why would FF be interested in the MC case if his client hasn't been charged on that matter ? The only person I know who has been in contact with FF is Isabelle McFadden (who has a lot of followers on X), but she never mentioned BS to me. I know that she contacted DM's daughter, heard DM had Alzheimer and (too bad for CB) dropped the issue. I learnt she at least sent a letter to CB and got an answer (she sent it to me) but unfortunately had to stop at FF's request. I discovered recently on X Isabelle's enthusiasm for BS's book, it lasted a couple of weeks, not a single comment, not a single review (no idea why).PeterMac wrote:Anne Guedes knows that Fülscher has been involved in the book for a long time.
we recommend she buys a copy
H Wolters acknowledged receipt and said he was reading it.
H.Fülscher has had a copy for the past 3 years, in manuscript, and read it thoroughly and critically reviewing it
Now please tell me why I should read BS's book (I read many many times the PJFiles, the untranslated parts as well) ?

The American lady supposed to have been raped by CB but, according to PT gynecologist expert, had not had sexual intercourse for a very long time.

By the way, FF seems to have been trying to get the judgement overturned on the basis of dubious evidence and one hair among a hundred others. I would say that, in the interest of CB, should be his priority.

Re: OPERATION BRICK !
Honesty, I'm touched and very grateful for your acknowledging this (the hard work was mainly reporting the trial in Lisbon with nothing more than a pad, a pencil and my memory, working in 3 languages (I'm French).
I'm busy writing now (a second book), this time about the MC case as a socio-political phenomenon. There is less mystery in what happened to Madeleine than in the indoctrination that this case has generated.
Once upon a time a simple hypothesis managed, despite (or because of) the lack of evidence, to impose itself as the only reality in the media-social-political echo chamber, under the sway of emotions and the aegis of the powerful confirmation bias. Verifiable facts were compelled to give way to beliefs and feelings. There is the rub !

Working 'in 3 languages' and under such conditions sounds an amazing achievement to me. Please send me an address to where the book can be sent. (I accept private messages.)

But the appeal had been presented some years before, by Brückner's then lawyer, who was not very good, and it was rejected.
A second appeal on the same gorunds is extremely difficult ever to get accepted before consideration of the facts, and FF's attempt was not accepted.
So Brückner remains "Legally Guilty" and imprisoned on very tenuous grounds, for an offence which in fact did not take place.
