I was going to mention the Pussy Cat Dolls, Cake Lover. Kate also thought it was appropriate in her novel to describe in graphic detail what she feared might have happened to Madeleine.

Just in case anyone thinks the PCD were a children's programme, this is was what Kate thought was acceptable for a child.

I don't know anyone who would take photo's of their children in such poses, let alone put them up for public scrutiny.
We are talking of people who thought it was perfectly fine to leave their children alone in an apartment whilst they went out to enjoy themselves though.

I have never seen anything like it. Never heard of them either but our grandson is 43 now and was into heavy metal, still is. I am lost for words that producing something like that is even allowed and angry that a mother would subject her three year old daughter to it.

This photo and that Kate mentioned Maddie's genitals in her book have always gave me a shock moment in this case. After nearly 20 years, I still can't believe that the McCanns are not in prison.

I think I mostly agree with this too. Without any broader context or extra information, it is not really possible to be sure of anything with this photo even though it does seem a bit odd. We don't even know who took it. Was it even taken by the McCanns? Was it a genuine photo or retouched and to what extent? Were there any others taken at the same time? and many other mysteries...

I'm curious about what other photos are you referring to that you found inappropiate?

There are 2 other inappropriate photo's, one with Madeleine sucking a lolly and another called the Lolita photo.
I can't find them at the moment, perhaps someone on the forum will know where to locate them.

The pool photo and Lolita/Make Up photo were taken on Sunday, 29. April, 2007 (She had the same hairclip and it was the only sunny day).

Even if it is the same hairclip (which is not really clear - to me anyway) that doesn't mean they were necessarily taken at the same time or even the same day, surely? There are many other possibilities.

Also there is no proof that the pool photo and the makeup photo were taken on the same day
