Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be

Any Judgement UNDER 2 Years can be set out to Probation, if you are Sentenced to OVER 24 Months, usually you are going to Prison.

Unlike the UK, Prisoners are released to put their Affairs in Order before having to attend an appointment at the Prison,  where they are to begin their Sentence. This is when a few decide to run and hide. There are no Bail Bondsmen or 'Bounty Hunters' allowed in Germany. It is the Police's job to find them.

Maybe the Judge has finally noticed enough inconsistencies in the evidence given so far to confirm the Brückner Setup / Scapegoat theory?

It is never easy trying to maintain Stories as Fact when the Facts keep destroying your Storylines.

Detective Mark Draycott was one of the key investigators into Madeleine’s disappearance and will be travelling to Germany as part of the defence team to answer questions about Helge Busching’s witness testimony. According to reports, the suspect’s defence lawyers believe they can discredit the witness due to inconsistencies in his testimony. 

Helge claims to be a former friend of Brueckner, who testified that the convicted rapist had confessed to him that Madeleine “didn’t scream” after he took her from her hotel room in Praia de Luz back in 2007. Helge also claimed that he saw videos of Brueckner committing sexual assault after taking them from Brueckner’s room, but has since lost the evidence. 
He further claimed that despite reporting it on a hotline about Maddie McCann, he was never questioned further about his suspicions. Mark was the officer who took the statement from the witness back in 2017, having worked on ‘Operation Grange’ since 2011. However, the prosecution has insisted that Mark can’t be asked questions regarding the McCann case. A private investigator hired by the family to look into Madeleine’s disappearance, Dave Edgar, has also been requested to testify.  END


I think that is a matter for the JUDGE ! ! !

The current trial of Brueckner has nothing to do with Draycott or Edgar.

Strange legal evidential situation  - in English Law terms

Draycott is going give direct evidence of what he was told about about Hearsay evidence.

The Statement given to Draycott was supplied to der Spiegel, where most of the Paragraphs relating to Madeleine were blacked out.

The British Press were reporting at that time about a 'Confession'.

That 'Confession' was later revealed to be that Brückner had said 'She did not even Scream' which Helge Busching thought to mean he was there when Madeleine was 'Abducted'.

So Brückner never 'Confessed' to having taken Madeleine, it is just the supposition of an ill-informed Witness to a conversation.

A conversation that other Witnesses deny even happened.

It is about time to see what Busching and the Met are hiding behind the blacked out portions of this Statement.

Hearsay (Hörensagen) rules are also written into German Law, if needs be, Witnesses can be Sworn in / Placed under Oath (Vereidigt) so that if they then Lie (knowingly or unknowingly) there are extra Penalties.

Their only Defence would be Silence.

One day before Inga Gehricke disappeared,1 May 2015 Christian Brückner had a small Accident on a Petrol Station car park on the A2 Motorway near Helmstadt where he hit another vehicle while parking. He was driving a dark coloured Mercedes Vito Van at the time. 

Some Press Report it as his, others say it was borrowed from a friend.
Regardless, the Police were called and attended the scene.

During the Inga G investigation there was a Profile made of Brückners movements by Cell phone logs, which proved he had never been in the Area of Wilhelmshof in Stendal where Inga was last seen. 

The Site of the disappearance was 100 Kms North East of Brückners accident on the A2.

None of her DNA or Pictures were found at the Neuwegersleben site.

Brückner could therefore not be identified as a Suspect in her case.

The ones who say it is all crap, and he never said anything to them?

A man’s claims that he gave Workington police information that could be related to Madeline McCann’s disappearance has been refuted by Cumbria Constabulary.
Ken Ralphs, a former UK political campaigner, told Sky News that Christian B, the German drifter suspected of abducting Madeleine, tried to recruit a mutual friend to help find a youngster to sell to a childless couple – one week before Madeline disappeared.

If Brückner had ever worked even 'Cash in hand' at the Ocean Club, the Mark Warner group or the PJ would have been able to find that out.

May 18 2007 was a Friday. Exactly 2 weeks after the Anniversary of Maddie's 'Abduction'.

Busching used the Mobile phone of an Albanian woman to place the call to OG, not his own.

I have an unsupported Suspicion that Helge Busching's Cancer diagnosis began not last Month, but maybe before he was let out of Prison early?

Complaining of Stomach upsets during the OG Interview, having lost Wheight before his Bild Interview all points in that direction.


But if according to another Video witness, Manfred S, Busching was 'Hoppa Hoppa' Drunk and had lots of Money after this Hotel interview.

So who gave him the Money then if it was not from OG?

Perhaps he's a character witness for Busching.

I'm of the same mind, Busching will be called to court again when Brueckner is tried for the murder of Madeleine, that's if he's still alive.

A Met Police detective has revealed how the search for Madeleine McCann changed course thanks to a voicemail left on a Scotland Yard answering machine.
Detective Constable Mark Draycott appeared in Braunschweig Court today (Thursday, May 2) to answer questions about the girl's disappearance during a 2007 family holiday in Praia da Luz, Portugal. The 49-year-old has been involved in the £13million hunt, Operation Grange, since it launched in 2011.
Convicted paedophile Christian Brueckner, 48, is currently on trial in connection with the disappearance after he was identified as the prime suspect in Madeleine's disappearance in 2020. Draycott was the first police officer called by the defence team to give evidence.
He said Brueckner's former friend Helge Busching, who knew him in the Algarve in the mid-2000s, tipped off Scotland Yard in 2017. "Back then we still had a public phone number which was publicised around the world," he said.
"Members of the public could ring in information in relation to Operation Grange, the Madeleine McCann investigation. One of my jobs was to check the answer phone messages. On May 18th I checked the answer phone and there was a message."
According to DC Draycott, Busching said Brueckner told him during a discussion about Madeleine's disappearance that "she did not scream." The officer added Busching, who was not identified to him at that point, "spoke good English" and asked to speak to private investigator David Edgar.
"He said he had information and he left a Greek mobile number. I then rang this Greek mobile number and spoke to a male I now know to be Helge Lars Busching. He referred to himself as Lars and he gave information in relation to the Madeleine McCann investigation.
DC Draycott passed on the information to German and Portuguese authorities. It was this conversation that prompted the investigation into Brueckner.
Days later DC Draycott and other members of a Scotland Yard team flew to Athens to question Busching in top secrecy. The interview was carried out in a hotel which had been checked for listening devices.
Busching was on parole from a Greek jail when he spoke to detectives. "We spoke to him over two days and he gave us information in relation to the Madeleine McCann case," DC Draycott continued. "At that stage he did not want to give a statement to us.
"However as the line of inquiry continued he was happy to give a statement to British police. He said he had a conversation with Christian at the Orgiva Festival in 2008. That conversation was in relation to Operation Grange. I can’t talk about that."
DC Draycott added no promises were made to witnesses by police and Busching was not paid for the information he shared. However his coach fare to Athens was paid for – as was a "cheap" hotel.
Busching flew to London in February 2018 to give a formal statement at Scotland Yard, according to DC Draycott. "That statement had already been prepared to a certain degree due to the info he had provided," he added.
Madeleine was just three years old when she went missing.
Brueckner is currently serving a seven-year sentence for the rape of a pensioner in 2019. He is on trial accused of a number of sex attacks in Portugal which allegedly took place between 2000 and 2017.
Brueckner denies any involvement in Madeleine's disappearance.
Scotland Yard took over the investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance in 2011. The Met Police have since been given £13 million in funding from the government to spend on Operation Grange.
Last month Scotland Yard applied for another grant totalling £100,000. It is expected to be approved.
The trial continues.

My hope is that the Judge is now in possession of so many Facts that point towards Brückner being set up, and being the Victim of an orchestrated Press Campaign that this Case is no longer about Brückner.

It is more about Busching, and his motivation to Set him up.
