Your doubts are based on what - the size of the book?

Would you prefer it if the publishers printed 3 volumes and risk not all of them being bought at the same time and only having part of the story? Or doing as we did and, for comfort, dissect it into 3?

Does the size of the 'brick' really matter? What it shows is the extraordinary amount of investigative work, over 7 years, that went into this. No one else has been out into the Hills and planted field cameras and captured those of interest on film.

In my opinion we have to give Bernt a chance. For the past 7 years he's known what he's doing...and continues to know what he's doing to make the McCanns and the 'golden nuggets' sweat and see who crumbles.

As Peter pointed out, the McCanns have already submitted their own words to articles, books, official statements, documentaries, videos etc, so they cannot rewrite history.

The only way to know the strength of anything is to test it to destruction. Now forgive me for chuckling but you have to destroy this book before reading it. Genius.

I'm not convinced that the McCann 'team' would be befriended by a stranger so easily and I certainly don't feel they would be worried about an email threat! Seriously? They would send someone just to 'check on things' because of an email threat? They've probably been threatened lots of times over the years. How did this man know the 'secret signature' for a start? I'm not doubting the years of work and study this man has put in btw. Sorry for sounding sceptical...

There's nothing wrong in being sceptical, I think most of us have some maybe small reservations, but we 're hoping and praying that he's onto something. I'd like to hear something, anything, about his book from more people than our group; I scour the internet every day, to no avail.

..but it doesn't. It's merely hearsay that he got it from some secret society (the handshake etc). Come on, it's too James Bond'ish, saying that the emails were ended with a secret signature. Sorry but I'm not convinced and I certainly don't think 'the team' will be worried about this. Surely showing the police the photos/videos would be the first port of call?

That's all the info I have on the subject at the moment, I'm very curios about the signature as well.
I should get my copy of the book next week with any luck, so I'm hoping it becomes clearer.

Natasha Donn is one of the best journalists in Portugal who accurately reports on the McCann case...she works for 'Portugal Resident'.

It did. A two-hour interview.

They have a bit of 'history', which TFD writes about in the book.
He doesn't name some people in the book but those of us who've been following the case will know who he means.

If you aren't sceptical there is something wrong. Across the years there have been people attached to this case and to the forum who have proved themselves to be charlatans. I could name the main ones but it would only serve to invite bad mouthing, shock horror, misguided loyalty to a tenet and a host of bonkers across various platforms.

TFD may well turn out to be a hoaxer. The forum is relying on PeterMac to validate.

A digital version is in production, so people won’t have to buy the brick, and pay the shipping, but will able to pay for a download.
I am hoping - and have been asking Bernt - that it will be KINDLE Compatible, so that the Search engine and COPY function work as normal.

If that's directed at me then I will answer in the only way possible. I always read other peoples' reviews before buying anything. Is that wrong? I never said anything about not buying it but money is tight, so I have to be selective. Oh, and being sceptical is different than discrediting something. You even said yourself that you were waiting for PeterMac to read it and inform the forum, plus he sent you one for free, so please don't lambast me for being sceptical AND thrifty.

EDIT: Fair enough, just seen your response but maybe LizEagles is in the same frame of mind?

How will the website work then for viewing the footage/photos? Will it be a special link from the book? Will it be a subscription? Is there a timescale ?
