The crass hypocrisy knows no bounds - they even muscle in on coronavirus.

Technically, that's not even factually correct. If the coronavirus is as deadly as first pronounced, you are just as susceptible at home as at the local sports stadium - possibly more so! Still, team McCann are not known for sticking to facts are they.

I was anticipating a tale of woe during the Easter period, like the family were locked-out of the church - well there's a metaphore for you!

Still only two weeks away from the next anniversary. Will they dare to try and overide a global pandemic? Olive Oyl?

Since I was six years old, I have wanted to know the meaning of 'speaking in tongues'. I asked my R.E. teacher, who told me to read the Bilbe again.

It is, like so much, a poor translation. We still use 'tongue' to mean language. Mother tongue and so on. . .

A better and more understandable one therefore might read "speaking in other languages", implying that the disciples would spread out to other countries, learn new languages, and pass on the message in that way.
Most (but not all) of the verses in Corinthians and Acts are made slightly more clear if you adopt that interpretation.

It wouldn't have occurred to my R.E. teacher to explain anything to a child. This was the 50's, and he was a thug. I understand Petermac's interpretation - my 6 year old mind thought I would start spouting gobbledegook, which was terrifying, and that old sadist was quite happy terrifying children.

Especially the most famous one from Acts 2 previously quoted.

Anyway... my original point was about the laying on of hands and the healing of the sick... not much of that going on right now.

It's a fair question.

The Catholic Church and many other Church's have locked their doors.

Jesus healed lepers by laying on hands... he said his followers would do the same... I quoted the verse from Mark.

So where are they (by the way most Doctors are not believers in Christ).

The Christian church should be standing up right now and they are lying down.

How do you know MOST doctors are not believers in Christ? Are you looking at stats from UK alone or maybe including SWEDISH stats!

There are many countries in the world so you would have to show me stats from each one which would convince me that MOST doctors do not believe.

The Church is abiding by the rules and are in lock down that doesn't mean to say that clergy are not out in the community helping and doing all they can. They may not be able to perform miracles but they are out there.

You are the one who is taking our Lord's words literally. Laying on of hands is certainly being done today by doctors and nurses who are dying because of it.

Anyone have any pointers as to why Neil Berry ended up staying in Date Palm (DP01), next to where Philip Martin Edmonds was staying from the 5th May to the 12th May? He was originally staying in Block 6 of Waterside Gardens (G606) across from the McCanns and next door to Raj Balu, from 28th Apr. I'd love to know if he changed accommodation (because of the press disturbance?) and had originally booked for the full period or extended his stay (for whatever reason). Also, it is curious that he and P M Edmonds claimed to have photo evidence of Madeleine alive later in the week - Neil's photo was published in the Netflix doc', Edmonds' has never turned up.

There are 3 tennis courts between the Club Cottages (where the Gorrods stayed), as well as Starfish cottage (which some researchers have looked at) and the Mill reception. I've no idea if we have lists pertaining to them, or whether any of the party played there. But it would be interesting to find out.

Kate McCann's book entry is the only mention of the Tapas booking as regards the children being left unattended. Why would you so readily accept the word of Kate McCann - assume she is telling the truth?

I don't know if you've ever read the book, or even any part of it, it is littered with stuff that cannot be corroborated.

Take a step back. Isn't it far more likely Kate McCann said this to add weight to the abduction theory?
