I guess my first question would be about Bernt's claim on the James English podcast that Amaral said the fluids in the hire car contained 'high levels of sedatives'.

I hadn't heard that before.

Where did GA say that?

That’s quite a statement right there!

And one I’d never heard before reading Sudden Impulse.
I guess I’d ask Bernt something he’s probably been asked a good few times in recent months- Are there any plans to take cadaver dogs to the hillside where the McCs and Golden nuggets were caught on camera?
If it’s not on the beaten path then their presence there is questionable at best.

I didn't say GB was a fake, but a fake investigative journalist (as the PJFiles seem to demonstrate). She used to work for Grazia (I discovered that title just now),

It depends on where Bernt is Qouting this knowledge from.

Either he has read the reported Information above, or he got it direct from a conversation with Goncalo Amaral?

Guilhem has been a Journalist since at least 2001.

Maybe Bernt can confirm for us through Amaral if her News Report above is 'Fake' or not?

I didn't suggest that GB or GA reported fake information, only she seemed to be a fake "investigative" journalist as the high levels of sedatives aren't mentioned in the PJFiles.

But there are many PJ Files that were not released.

Whether her Source was true or not remains to be seen.

It is a regular proMC argument to suggest that files (with very special info) haven't been released to the public. There's no evidence of it. Many files were suppressed, it's true, at the request of the UK (like Crimestoppers, the list of paedophiles in the Algarve) and others (like the rogatory interviews of the group) on behalf of the PM.
Why would GA have entrusted an unknown freelance journalist with information that the public prosecutor would have seen fit to suppress from the pjfiles?
I think that this story is at best some lost in translation.

It doesn't "have to be", Pro McCanns are the only posters I observed arguing that the PJ withold information to the public but not to the MC team, Met, etc.

We know the LC withold lots of documents like the surely very interesting statements of all the May guests of Mark Warner and other tour operators recorded by the LC. In fact they inserted them into Holmes 2, which the Portuguese had neither the habit of using nor the time to do so.

We know the LC withold lots of documents like the surely very interesting statements of all the May guests of Mark Warner and other tour operators recorded by the LC. In fact they inserted them into Holmes 2, which the Portuguese had neither the habit of using nor the time to do so.

There were some documents paper clipped to some other documents by mistake but for the life of me I cannot what was attached to what if that makes sense. I shall venture down the rabbit hole called Google.

The Gaspar statements weren't faxed by accident to Ricardo Paiva. The LC and the PM had no knowledge of that, imo, that's why they weren't suppressed. The Mark Harrison reports weren't supposed to be made public, but in the haste and with the coming holidays off the went. A pity the Lee Rainbow report was witheld.

I have it in the deep recesses of my mind that they were other papers with the FSS reports but also maybe papers found under a couch in either second apartment or the villa. My head is a shed at the moment so could very well be totally wrong.

That was stuff left under the Sofa in the hired Villa by the then Spokeswoman Justine McGuiness.
Her own Notes, written in Shorthand with areas on a Map marked.

Some papers were found as Nina said amongst other Paperwork sent to the PJ from the UK Police.
The PJ suspected that someone was fed up with pushing a Lie and added it to the Mail by 'Mistake' on Purpose.

Yes papers were found but still not sure who or where they were found. Anyway some papers were found that caused a bit of a stir.
Edited to add a mention of the areas of a map marked out. Very interesting. I wonder where those areas were.
