Or how much of the cash which was being pressed onto the McCanns' relatives every time one of them ventured out in public found its way into the 'fund'.

IMO £1.8million is merely the tip of the mountain of money that found its way into the wallet and purse of this duplicitous, deceitful, and devious couple.

Why ?

Firstly, because Gerry and Kate can only blame someone else for their own faults and failures and secondly, because if 'Uncle Phil' hadn't cocked up on the UK /Portuguese international time zones she wouldn't have fired off like an enormous blunderbus, about the Jemmied Shutters, the Smashed Windows ....which Gerry had been stopped from preparing, when he was rumbled by Jez Wilkins... who inconveniently came out of his flat with his little boy ...(onto whom Phil, like her brother, will now pass the buck and claim that it is actually the kid who is solely to blame for the collapse of the whole case... because he is a little child)... who like many little children, had had difficulty going to sleep and had needed his father to do the normal thing and wheel him around for a while in a push-chair.

See, it's simple.

After 'Uncle Phil's' blurting her mouth off (followed by many other occasions.....oh Gerry.....such a liability your wee older sister has turned out to be....) then the blame falls fairly and squarely on the Wilkins' kid and his acquiescing father.

It is THEY who should go to prison, JW and his kid, who by the time this case is solved will probably be old enough to go to a proper grown-ups' jail.

'Uncle Phil' should be Knighted, her husband made a dame of the Empire and Gerry shall become the New Age God. Kate will be away with the fairies so calling her the fairy queen will probably be a fitting end to this long and tortuous modern-day saga. sarcastic

You've no chance of seeing their bank records, even the police investigating their daughter's disappearance weren't allowed to see them, if my memory serves me right. Has SY asked to see any of their suspects' bank records yet? (Sorry if already mentioned, I don't always have time to read through all the posts.)

Apologies then. I read numerous things saying he did quit his job straight away to become a director of the fund. IIRC there was thoughts at the time that why would he quit his job with mortgage, bills, family to support when MBM could be found straight away...

IIRC the answer was: there were no credit cards or loans (call me "Stu") and nothing in a simple bank account that warranted it to be send to PJ.

Now for refusing to send the medical files I have never heard a reason.

Yep, totally agree, whilst I understand some may not like seemingly offensive terms being used about certain characters in this saga, sometimes it is what it is and there's no harm in calling them for what they are.

And lets face it, the choice words that have been used to describe those of us who don't believe the McCanns fairytale, is at times shocking and no one defends us or stops the abusive insults that are thrown about e.g. haters, nutters, vile trolls etc and "creepy wee bastard" is the perfect description for this strange, little man. Weird how many creepy people side with the McCanns, Jon Corner is another...now he's really creepy!
