But it wasn't the quiz night Kate slept in the children's room, she said it was the Wednesday night, she never mentioned the quiz did she?
She said Gerry arrived back at the apartment before her, this is backed up by one of the tapas 7, I can't remember which one at the moment.
Because Gerry left her, she was annoyed with him.
It is only my opinion that she slept in the children's room on the Tuesday and not the Wednesday, it makes a lot more sense to me.

I have, not as much as I would like though.
I've read where he was camping out and getting people on field cameras.
Now I'm starting from the beginning, he refers to things and then say's more of that later a lot, which is very annoying.

If it was to be with a sick child, did they go out knowing she was sick, or get back to find out that she was? We'll never know that, of course, but I can't help but wonder.

How did he lay in wait? It doesn't seem to be an area of lots of cover to hide and silently wait. He could have been there for hours even days so did he have some sort of very primitive camp?

He camped out for 6 nights on Rocha Negra, taking water and a few supplies, each night moving to a different location hoping to see Gerry and Kate.

Been reading it for about three hours today.

It's good so far.

Slight niggle though... he needed an editor as it could have been trimmed a bit.

Yes, I had a few niggles - from years of editing Peter's e-book - I picked up some things too that was a bit of a distraction. But, come on, over 850 pages...I think he's done brilliantly to carry out this extraordinary investigation over many years, diligently record his work, then put it all together in such a 'brick' of a book.

Operation Brick Phase 3 soon...

Bernt doesn't name 'the golden nuggets'...he refers to them as Mr and Mrs Nugget. They will know who Bernt is referring to, though, as will the McCanns.

Wow that will have been very difficult for many different reasons so I am delighted that he got a result. No spoilers I will wait for the video evidence though my nails will be chewed down to the quick.

It is a very large and very public area so anyone could wander about with a dog or a family picnic or a bit of extra marital so was he expecting certain people and his expectations obliged or was it a matter of no expectations but then people turned up and it was an ''oh my word'' moment for him. Again no spoilers.

He sent anonymous emails to the McCanns telling them that people were scoping the area (where he found what he thought was evidence of a burial site or memorial)...then the Nuggets turned up and they were caught on the hidden field cameras. The Nuggets live in Portugal whereas the McCanns are in the UK...so the McCanns sent the Nuggets to check it out.

He's gone to extraordinary efforts to find the truth,
I can't see any of it standing up in court though.
If he did capture the McCann's on film, they could just say they were looking for Madeleine couldn't they?,
Unless he caught them digging up her remains and taking them away, that would be proof.
I remember Ian Brady taking a picture of Myra Hindley crouching down and they found one of their victims at that spot, so perhaps it could happen the same way.
