Braunschweig (dpa) - The trial against Christian B., who is also suspected in the Maddie case, for five serious sexual offenses is coming to an end. According to an announcement by the Braunschweig Regional Court, the taking of evidence could be closed in the hearing on Wednesday (from 9 a.m.). The public prosecutor's plea is expected to follow in this case.
The 47-year-old German is accused of three rapes and two cases of sexual abuse of children, which he is said to have committed in Portugal between 2000 and 2017. The trial is attracting a lot of attention, especially because the sex offender, who has a previous conviction, is suspected of murder in the case of three-year-old Madeleine "Maddie" McCann, who disappeared from a Portuguese holiday resort in 2007.

I think CB will be found guilty of sexual abuse of children.

Those behind all this will want him to get 'Sicherungsverwahrung' - to stay in Jail past his previous Sentence as he would be a continuing Danger to the Public.
