MADELEINE McCann's parents have raised almost £1million to help find their daughter if police stop looking.
The Maddie Fund has soared in the past year and is at its highest level since the accounts were first logged 13 years ago.







It has £634,444 in restricted funds and £270,072 in unrestricted funds, totaling £904,516, its latest accounts show.


It comes as suspect Christian B has still not been charged by German police.
A pal of the McCanns, from Rothley, Leics, said: “They know the Met Police investigation cannot go on forever but they will never give up looking for Madeleine.


"If and when it is shelved, and if there is no result, Kate and Gerry will use the money to continue the hunt. That is what it is there for.”
In the last financial year £2,712 came in from royalties for Kate’s 2011 heartache memoir Madeleine.


A sum of £26,834 has been set aside as “provisions for liabilities”, which appears to be a sum Kate and Gerry McCann may have to pay ex Portuguese police chief Goncalo Amaral if they lose a long-running libel battle.


The couple are among six company directors of the not-for-profit firm and are believed to have boosted the pot with savvy investments throughout the pandemic.


German cops believe Maddie has been murdered and convicted rapist Christian B remains their prime suspect, despite never being quizzed.


But Met detectives are continuing to treat Maddie - who vanished as a three-year-old during a family holiday to Portugal in May 2007 - as a missing person.


The fund was launched shortly after her kidnap from an apartment in Praia da Luz and made up of donations from stars and the public, and later royalties from Kate's best seller book.


The first set of accounts in 2009 showed it had reached £1.8million with £600,000 being spent by the McCann’s on the campaign to find their daughter.


Over the years it has dropped as low as £125,175 with fears it could be wiped out if the couple lost their bitter libel action which is now being considered at the European Court of Human Rights.


Operation Grange, launched in 2011, has received more Home Office money to continue the inquiry until at least the end of next month.


Met Police Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick vowed her officers would continue the search until there is nothing left to do.


Heart doctor Gerry and medic Kate, both 53, pledged: “We will continue to ensure that Madeleine is not forgotten and will leave no stone unturned in our continued search for her."

i already was prepared this time, i had my red permanent marker hidden. 

but dear tracey, the germans had done so much their best to find a suited patsy, and know even the mccanns do not believe in the latest perp? also we missing the source.

i was looking at the phone number, as said to belong to cb, that was registered on the list of the thursday evening.

does anyone knows how it will work when someone would use call forwarding, i never have looked into that in a technical way. the germans suppose cb was called when he was in reach of the pdl tower, so the other number called him, how does that get to show on a list, when the number of cb had call forwarding active. 

it would mean , if the original number is called and made it to those phone listings, but there is no code on the list for call forwarding you did not have been within reach of that specific tower itself.

In the SAT1 production, Jon Clarke was seen next to a blurred out Person, with a disguised voice. She confirmed that the number was registered to Christian B. 

She was being asked by Jutta Rabe if it was possible that her Husband, or Son could have used Christian Bs phone, at this time. She said this was totally wrong, and ‘an die Haare vorbei gesogen’ (Rubbish).

It would not surprise me if someone told Jutta to ask that Question of her. 

So everyone BKA/ SAT1 seems to be working on a DIRECT CALL.

you mean the part of the p. family, also the family that were the owner of the vw camper?

well, it would not be that uncommon, that a investigation give some suggestions in unknown details of a case. 

the questions you see in the crime stoppers etc. programs are always made in that way. nothing spontaneous in that range, so why not do the same in a docu.

There seems to be only two possibilities who was behind the blurred out image.

after all video's and articles they spoke in, i do think it was anja p. and bernard p.,  with their son, they are the garage owners, that had loaned the old vw camper to cb, and lent then their address after he got out of jail in december 2006. it was meant as being able to have a address to his name. the p. family are german naqtionals in origine but lives for years in the algarve.

cb's lawyer told he would go back to the little finca/cottage with the polebeam in the living, but that can not be true, because in the series of sandra f. and this same docu, was told the place was empty and broken into, by helge b. and manfred s. also in sandra f. her series the owners told they had emptied the place out, because it was looking like a pig sty. so it could hardly be true that cb could go back there. also there was no one who paid the rent.

i had a good laugh after manfred s told cb did break in in other peoples places, nasty stuff, nothing he wants to do with, but what did he do himself to cb's place in pdl?  are there other words in german minds to say going into some pother fellows shack and take what you like, than a break in? 

there must be also another anja in this saga, also a german national, the mother of the girl that cb did abuse, het name is out there as anja k. or silke in the book of a certain star reporter. 

but if you looked all the docu's and video's, you see the witnesses from full names to initials and something in between, and from blurred in the last one , but posed for a nice fresh pic also. why do you want to be blurred, and not known by your given name, as it is already out there for every one to see. 

so i dare to make the conclusion, that it was all just for show. these were the same witnesses we already have met before, who all tell they tink cb did it, but do not know he did it, camouflage and blurring would not help to solve that problem. 

nicole f. did not want to speak to jutta r. but jutta did not know nicole f. already had a nice long conversation with sunny alex. the old supposed girlfriend with younger son, are the only ones we never heard of, but both could recognize the phonenumber as nicoles, the son at least, but both did not want to call that in. 

anyone already seen a date for the next docu ? or has that one still some specialists in damage limitation with som nice red ink on it?

It seems Mark Williams-Thomas production has stalled.

There is still a multi-million pound reward for information which leads to the conviction of someone for something – anything to do with Madeleine McCann.

Witness have apparently preferred to speak privately to Jon Clarke than to contact the Police of any of three Nations and claim the money.

The desperation to pin Madeleine's disappearance on CB smacks of scapegoating. 
No doubt he's a disgusting excuse for a human being, but am I alone in thinking abducting a child from her apartment just doesn't seem to be his style? 
I'd almost feel sorry for the guy if he wasn't a vile scumbag.

It is such a strange case. The BKA have suspected CB of a number of crimes and they have been wrong. They claim to have evidence against him, they backtracked on their claim that Madeleine was dead, they accepted statements from Jon Clarke's sought out drug smuggling, migrant trafficking witnesses and yet they have not even questioned CB.
I cannot help thinking that CB may be another willing patsy, his name dragged through the mud for a year or so whilst the press and media profit from their stories and documentaries and then once they have milked this for all they can, they prove him innocent and he gets a handsome payout just like Murat.

Sorry, but nothing else makes sense here, every time they want a new documentary we get a new false lead.

I'll give until the next anniversary of Madeleines' reported disappearance or just after, they will have milked the CB story for all its worth by then and there will be a fresh appeal, a new lead (recycled), Operation Strange requesting more funding, followed by yet another mockumentary and some other clown attempting to write a book on the case.

INVESTIGATORS still need to find a "clinching piece of evidence" in the Madeleine McCann disappearance that "seals the deal" against the prime suspect, despite the latest revelations, a missing persons expert has said.

Charlie Hedges, a former member of the UK police who previously was head of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection unit at the National Crime Agency, explained that all the evidence against Christian B appeared circumstantial – a possible reason why German prosecutors have yet to bring charges. However, the new evidence coming to light about Christian B “are pieces of the jigsaw puzzle”.

Madeleine went missing when she was three years old, while her family were on holiday in the Algarve in 2007.

Convicted rapist and child sexual abuser Christian B was identified as the prime suspect in Madeleine’s disappearance by investigators in Braunschweig in June 2020.

They believe he is responsible for the killing of Maddie. Christian B has always denied all allegations in relation to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

A recent documentary by German TV channel Sat.1 claimed it had evidence that Christian B had “repeatedly worked” at the Ocean Club resort where the McCanns were staying.

It also spoke to former acquaintances, who claimed they found a gun and child pornography at his addresses.

Despite these striking revelations, Mr Hedges – who is now a missing persons specialist at Amber Alert Europe – noted the evidence that has so far come out against Christian B has been circumstantial.

He said: “It’s not unheard of for things to be proven on circumstantial evidence if there’s enough of it.

“But, again, you’ve got the challenge of any evidence that comes forward.

“Any witnesses that come forward now, the defence would have a lovely time talking to them and challenging their memory and why they’ve only come forward now and what have you.

“It just creates so many more difficulties the older case gets.”

Mr Hedges added: “The difficulty with a case as old as this is getting reliable evidence, because people’s memories aren’t always true after this period of time.

“And in any case, the best chance of solving is from getting it right from the outset and being able follow up on the leads when they're still hot.

“But that’s not to say it’s unsolvable, it just makes it more difficult.”

The progression of the case may have been hindered by moves made by the police.

German newspaper Der Spiegel reported in 2020 that Christian B had been invited in for questioning in 2013 via a letter which stated the matter was in reference to Madeleine McCann.

Officers told the paper that this had been a blunder, as such a high-profile case would have required more evidence to be gathered before approaching a potential suspect.

When asked to comment, Mr Wolters told Express.co.uk: “In 2013, Christian B was questioned by the police as a witness. At that time there were no suspicions against him.

“Therefore, an interrogation of the accused was not justified at the time.”

THE dad of Madeleine McCann suspect Christian B's ex-lover fears his daughter may have helped snatch the child.

Nicole Fehlinger, 45, was dating Christian B in 2007 when he is thought to have kidnapped and murdered Madeleine.

Her dad Dieter, 67, says he recently confronted her over the issue, adding: “I asked her directly what she had to do with the Madeleine case.

"Did she do any crooked business with him?”

Nicole screamed her denial at him, he says.

But Dieter, a former ambulance driver, added: “I want to speak to Christian man-to-man.

"I want to know first-hand what my daughter has to do with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.”

Dieter first met Christian B in 2007, the year Madeleine vanished.

And the day before, and the day before that, and the day after – twice, and . . .  They were living together for heaven's sake, [of possibly for Hell's sake, since it was theologically IN SIN !]   and ringing to remind each other not to forget the potatoes and the shaving foam is – sort of – normal between couples.]

The gibbering idiocy of the anti-CB camp seems to my untrained eye to be ratcheting up, with all the signs of desperation.

herrrr dieter, that must have been after the sat1 docu, because we was just telling he was not in contact with his daughter. 
he was not shy to get a free holiday in the sun, that was he told the reason he was there on a unknown time, and now it looks like 'the sun we pay for our stories' is a nice little earner too.

no word about his granddaughter who must have been under siege of cb. it is another child he has his mind set to. and these are things that make me think, just the next porky teller in this saga.

so even the reporters of the sun did not see a chance to let grandpa waiting 15 years to get from his closet, because cb and nicole f. met at a christmas party after his release in december 2006, to think a very long line of nasty words, because the monster was there, just next to his own grand daughter, even the british would not believe that. 

i'm still waiting for the bunch of old acquaintances of cb, who would, as promised by the pr team of jutta rabe, tell us where cb was that evening and how they now that. 
i'm not surprised it is just a round up of other very shady figures, who never had a minute for madeleine at all, during the almost 15 years after. 
but he ho they know of course, like some others do, all of it, because they were a sort of there. these so called former friends of cb, do have just their priorities in place, they do not mind about children, not their own children, nor any others, it is about them. cb is their pension fund. that is a bit getting empty, because crime does hardly pay in the end. 

so we get into these stories, cb did break in, so called former friend says horrible things, i do not want to do something with such a person, but he presto, he did not mind doing it himself. but it is still telling only.

there is never proven cb's former finca, very small cottage was actually robbed, there is never been any proof the video's of cb torturing woman were ever there, we only have the words of two criminals and the stories both tell are very different. 
cb's former lawyer does have to do a better job, talking cb had that finca to go back to, that can not fit in the latest story, it needed to get robbed, and cleaned out before cb was on his feet again. not the best advertisement also, telling thingies about your clients is not what is in the job description. must already have been on his pension also. if he is paid for that sayings he is just the next criminal too.

and please do not think the former trafficker of people, and other criminal affairs helge b is not payed, he is not payed by the press, but payed with his freedom. there is no law that can be used to keep someone silent, all this talk about crown witnesses is just stupid, this are people who have always profit for their own person.
crown witness means in serious crime nothing different than a bargain is reached between the police and a criminal. 

i have a bit of a problem with that, because we got for now one criminal behind bars, they have an urge to keep him there, and i agree that would be a good thing, but it means a human trafficker, yes that is the edible term for getting illegal immigrants into the criminal world within our own borders, with occupations in working drugs operation, slavery, the dirty side of the sex industry, break in and it does not have age limits at all, no laws, so they do not mind a nice set of young children for that market. 
anyone who is part of the human traffic rings is just a dirty bastard. a criminal. and i do not like it at all this one gets a freeby from it. or all those others, who never paid for what they done. just a life of me, me and me, and still me. they never are able to care of others.

i do not like it at all to see the partners in crime of cb, because that is the real term for it, end up nice and cosy shining on a tv screen. they are never been friends, or acquainted like not criminal people see these terms. just profiting of others, not even cb, but just from that one little girl, who we still find important enough to look into this case. the words of these people have their price!

and all those reporters and docu makers are doing nothing other than white washing of these criminals, former, or still be ones. there is not even a nice warning, that these people are from a criminal past, that they can hardly be trusted in what they say. 

and do not mind, the abduction part is already written out of the play called cb the monsterman. and that will make the mccanns not very buoyed of course, they just let madeleine walk out of her own, and walk into the arms of her killer. no 5a needed.
the dogs will be kept out of court, the mccanns also, their declarations that could not be truthful also. 
just a complete rewrite of this screen play, nicely sliding around the old evidence and biting the patsy. 
full of freshly dressed up witnesses, who just had to keep silent for 15 years, but now will act what they can, to look like just very nice people, wo have to get rid of a burden, they could not tell of course while the monster was still on the loose. well a sort of. 

it is of course a way to get rid of a case, the paper way to solve a case, it has one very nasty implication, the true culprits would never pay the price they own to a certain very young girl called madeleine mccann. 

the next on screen chapter, the mark wt show must be getting to air soon, they already sold it to germany, that will screen it from the second week of march on. they have only 2 parts listed, the third is of course a bit of a problem because of the patsy who will be in play.

In my opinion the needle got stuck in the middle of the symphony for it to be a means to an end. If there was any intention of a satisfactory conclusion, it would have happened long ago.

Raymond Hewlett would have been the ideal candidate for the ultimate scapegoat - as he lay rotting in the earth.

I can't help but think this whole scenario is an act, Brueckner being the top billing.

We shall see - or not as the case maybe. Never know, Jon Clarke might pen a sequel and thus reveal all.

It seems Mark Williams-Thomas will be airing his Documentary in Germany before it airs in England?

THE father of Madeleine McCann suspect Christian B's ex-lover fears she may have been involved in the three-year-old's disappearance, according to reports.

Nicole Fehlinger was dating Christian B in 2007, the year Madeline vanished during a family holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal. The Sun reports that her father Dieter Fehlinger recently confronted her about the child's disappearance.

He said: “I asked her directly what she had to do with the Madeleine case.

"Did she do any crooked business with him?”

According to The Sun, Ms Fehlinger denied any involvement to her father.

Mr Fehlinger added: “I want to speak to Christian man-to-man.

"I want to know first-hand what my daughter has to do with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.”

Ms Fehlinger reportedly first met Christian B in 2007.

A recent documentary on German TV claimed she rang his mobile the day Madeline went missing.

Christian B was named in June 2020 as the main suspect in the case as German and UK police made a fresh appeal for information about the child's disappearance.

However it is understood there is not enough evidence to charge him.

The three-year-old vanished while on holiday with her parents and twin siblings in May 2007 shortly before her fourth birthday.

Christian B is currently serving a seven-year sentence in a German prison for the rape of a 72-year-old American woman in Praia da Luz in 2005.

In letters from jail in January, he said he was not caught for drug dealing because he was careful and it would have been "absurd" for him to abduct Madeleine.

Writing to reporter Jetta Rabe of the Sat1 TV entertainment channel, Christian B said: "I was never caught by the police because I followed a few key principles.

"Where possible, only driving during the day so that my battered 'hippy bus' didn't attract attention, only driving on the roads I needed to and, most importantly, never provoking the police.

"So that means not committing any crimes, certainly not abducting anyone."

I took part in the MWT documentary.  As to whether I appear or not, who knows. Try 9th March on German TV.

I spent 4.5 hours with those teams.

What I got paid was precisely zero.  Not so much as a farthing.
