The Mail on Sunday printing more ‘Churnalism’ on Brückner.
The former girlfriend of Christian Brueckner, the prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann from a Portuguese holiday resort, says he admitted being close to the youngster’s apartment when she vanished.
In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday, Nakscije Miftari recalled Brueckner falling silent when the subject of Madeleine’s abduction was raised by friends during a party in early 2014 at their flat in Braunschweig, northern Germany.
‘I remember he made no answer to the question. After they went, I asked about Maddie as I did not know anything about her,’ she said.
‘I asked him about it and he said, “I know about Maddie, I was near the hotel at the time. I was living in the area at the time. I am not going to say anything more. I am not a stupid guy, I am a businessman.”

I wonder how the Reporter managed to track her down at all, after Interpol issued a Red list warning for her when she went on the run, scared for her life as Brückner was supposedly after her.
Even her own Family were not told where she was held under Police protection.
Still, never let facts ruin a good story…

So again Christian Brueckner is back on top of the pile.
The question remains - why is it deemed necessary for the tabloid press and social media to continue this cobblers?
You might think mainstream media to be a lethal weapon, you might think social media to be a lethal weapon.
Combine the two together !

Madeleine McCann suspect told friend he 'accidentally killed' ex-girlfriend
Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner admitted "accidentally killing" his ex while he was drunk, a former friend of the 44-year-old, who is being investigated over Maddie's disappearance in 2007, said

Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner once reportedly told a former friend he had "accidentally killed" his ex-girlfriend.
The man, called Aberle, said Christian Brueckner, 44, admitted he had killed the woman when he was drunk, the Sun reports.
Aberle is understood to have told cops in 2010, at about the same time prostitute Monika Pawlak, 24, was mutilated and stuffed in two bin bags.
Brueckner was investigated over the death of Pawlak, who worked in a kitchen and occasionally as a prostitute, in Hanover in 2010, but he was never charged.
The latest detail reportedly emerged during a meeting between German and Portuguese officers reviewing the case of Madeleine's tragic disappearance back in 2007.
He was ordered to give a DNA sample during a mass DNA test.
Brueckner is currently serving a seven-year prison sentence for raping a 72-year-old American woman in Praia da Luz in 2005, about 18 months before Madeleine went missing.
The Mirror last month reported how investigators are "100% sure" sex offender Christian Brueckner murdered Madeleine McCann.
They have the evidence to charge him and hope the probe will conclude next year.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said: “We’re confident we have the man who took and killed her.”
Madeleine was only three when she disappeared while on a family holiday in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007.

And what has this to do with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann?
There is no evidence to suggest Madeleine was abducted, no evidence to support the notion that Brueckner is involved with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Extract from Ch. 48
"The most famous Hunter of Monsters in Spain was Miguel de Cervantes’ “Don Quixote”. (1605). El Quixote’s exploits riding aimlessly across the plains of La Mancha on a quest never fully explained, attacking wine-skins and tilting at windmills insanely believing them to be monsters and giants, are familiar to all.
Now we have our modern incarnation, driving back and forth across Europe, imagining everyone with a disability to be guilty, and everyone with an alternative lifestyle to be a monster who has stolen, kidnapped, raped and murdered a whole series of small children and old age pensioners from the furthest south-west coast of Portugal to the northernmost regions of Germany, and probably beyond.
We speak loosely of a person being a ‘one-man crime-wave’. Don Clarke-ote clearly wishes to go down in history as the ‘one-man crime-solver’ of all outstanding crimes across Europe."

It seems Brueckner has a very loose mouth when he's drunk, maybe the German prosecutor should get him blind drunk.
He will then confess to all the crimes in Portugal and Germany, job done.

So he "confessed" to a crime he actually didn't commit. That should tell you a lot about how serious his "confessions" about the Madeleine case (which are still presented as strong evidence against him) are to be taken...crusader wrote:It seems Brueckner has a very loose mouth when he's drunk, maybe the German prosecutor should get him blind drunk.

German police have been accused of withholding “bombshell evidence” that may prove who killed Madeleine McCann.
Met Police sources say they were not informed of the new evidence, with one former detective saying: “It seems extraordinary our officers are so much in the dark.
"It begs the question why we are still bothering to run an inquiry if the Germans are so dominant.”
Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said his investigators were “100% convinced” that jailed paedophile Christian Brueckner, 44, is responsible for killing Madeleine.
“We have that evidence now,” he said recently.
But detectives from the Met’s £12.5million Operation Grange said they have not even been shown proof she is dead.
“We can only assume they have some bombshell evidence they have chosen to keep secret."

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
We could take a view that Herr Wolters has realised there is no connection between Christian B and Maddie's death and that he has been duped by the British Met police. No longer sharing the evidence with the British as he pursues the investigation into the real perpetrator(s) is surely now a case of schadenfreude.[I do love that German word]. Perhaps he is even now sharing evidence with the PJ?Verdi wrote:OK, let's up the ante..

German cops accused of not sharing Madeleine McCann evidence
German Prosecutor, Hans Christian Wolters, is leading an investigation into the 2007 disappearance in Portugal of Madeleine McCann. Wolters has been accused by British detectives of withholding crucial evidence that he recently claimed to have uncovered.
The German said he believes that his team has damning evidence against 44-year-old Christian Brueckner. His main suspect is a convicted paedophile who is currently in prison in Germany, and Wolters recently said that he, and his team, were “100% convinced” of Brueckner’s guilt in killing Madeleine. “We have that evidence now”, he said.
According to a Metropolitan Police spokesperson, who is a part of their ongoing £12.5million Operation Grange into the disappearance, they have not had any information shared with them by the Germans. As far as the British side is concerned, she is still classified as a missing person.

This translates to "There is no evidence for Madeleine's death, according to Wolters."Beweise für den Tod von Maddie McCann gebe es nicht, so Wolters.

Nothing changes.
The periphery investigations in Germany and the UK, the ex-detectives, the private detectives, the journalists, the government, the social commentators - they all conveniently ignore the essential ingredient .... evidence!
It's all in the PJ files.
How the collective can continue to pretend the evidence doesn't exist is beyond the pale - it's not even devious, it's embarrassing.
Perhaps they are of the 'if you say it often enough it becomes fact' school of thought.

He has made a a very serious accusation against Brueckner, without showing a scrap of evidence to back it up, he has in fact made it all about himself.

What Wolter should do morally has no possible bearing on what he can do in the position of a powerful lawyer - you could say he's above the law, in many respects I consider this to be true.
Rumour has been rife over the years suggesting the Portuguese authorities were in league with the British authorities in an attempt to whitewash this horrendous crime involving a three year old child, withouproof of this allegation I prefer to keep it on the back burner. If however there is any semblance of truth about this alliance involving senior officials across Europe - why not Germany?
Selectively the McCanns took their roadshow across Europe back in the summer (that word again!) of 2007, not to the UK strangely enough but to Germany, to Spain, to the Netherlands all featuring prominently in the ongoing saga. Even a token visit to North Africa to plant the fruitful seed of child trafficking and peadophilic syndicates.
Wolter is safe, the McCanns are safe, the Metropolitan Police is safe, politicians are safe, the Olive Press is safe - anyone who dares cross the line trying to uncover the truth is not safe!
Dr Amaral suggests a dead person being the ideal patsy to conveniently conclude this case, a dead German man to be precise. That creates problems unless Christian Brueckner is
The only alternative is for the authorities to hope the case will eventually die a natural but that's unlikely if the gutter press don't stop publishing ridiculous nonsense about the case.
It will never go away because there are pesky people like us who refuse to let the case of a missing threee year old child disappear off the radar.
In an analysis of the already published picture of the German suspect Christian Brueckner, the former inspector has no doubts: "it cannot be [him]". Gonçalo Amaral explained that in question is the fact that the German had short hair at the time of Maddie's disappearance however the testimonies spoke of a long hair. "Do they want people to be identified? So let's be serious", said the inspector, who criticizes the release of a current photograph of the suspect instead of a picture [of how he looked].
Amaral is convinced that the German prosecutor did not read the process concerning the English girl's case. "When the German prosecutor says the man came in through the window, forget it, he didn't read the files", he said.
The former PJ stressed that German police officers "are not incompetent, they are rigorous", but questions whether the new German suspect is a tactic for the authorities to resolve the case in a "competent" way.
As for the English authorities, Amaral believes that they too "are looking for paedophiles who fit in the abduction theory, without however proving that there has been an abduction".
The cadaver dogs, brought by the British authorities, detected blood in the house, but that evidence was eventually depreciated. "The English laboratory wrecked the results", said Gonçalo Amaral, who reproaches the laboratory technician of expressing opinions about the results.
The former inspector appealed to investigators on the case to read the process from start to finish or otherwise face an investigation failure. "There are things that are lacking in the process", he recalled, appealing for the continuation of the investigation.
Amaral stressed again that, currently, Christian Brueckner "is an almost perfect suspect, [to be one] he just needs to be dead".

What a load of old *B - L - E - E - P !!!*.
How can any self respecting journalist who claims to be of such high calbre, put their name to such utter tripe.
No doubting Meester Clarke is of the Germanman dunnit school of thought - or should that be conspiracy theory school of thought !?!
That should keep the UK gutter press occupied this weekend but I guess Jon Boy likes to be there first, just like he was first at the crime scene.

Prosecutor disputes claim McCann suspect to be charged with Irish woman’s rape
Christian Brückner is chief suspect in child’s disappearance and for assault of Hazel Behan
Mon. May 3 2021
A German prosecutor has said media reports which claimed the chief suspect for the disappearance of Madeleine McCann would soon face charges for the rape of an Irish woman in Portugal are “not correct”.
Christian Brückner is suspected of attacking Hazel Behan, then 20-years-old, in her apartment in Praia da Rocha on the Algarve in June, 2004. A stranger broke into her home and subjected her to a violent ordeal over several hours.
The scene of the attack, at Praia da Rocha, on the then hotel worker was a 30-minute drive from where Madeleine (3) was abducted, in Praia da Luz, while on a family holiday in May, 2007. Brückner lived in the area for 12 years, which covered the times of the British child’s disappearance and the attacks on Ms Behan and an elderly American woman, who was raped in Praia da Luz in September, 2005.
Reports in the media, initially in Britain on Sunday and in Ireland on Monday, quoted German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters suggesting Brückner would likely be charged with the rape of Ms Behan and that this would happen within about three months.
However, when contacted by The Irish Times, Mr Wolters, the lead prosecutor in the case, said that “unfortunately” the reports this weekend were “not correct”. He took issue with both the certainty attributed to him that the suspect would be charged with the rape of Ms Behan and also the time frame attributed to him for those charges.
“I did not say that we would charge Christian B in the case of Hazel B in the next three months,” he said, using the versions of the suspect’s and victim’s names that has been used by prosecutors, who do not use full names.
“In fact, the investigation is ongoing and will probably continue for several months. Currently it is not foreseeable whether there will be an indictment.”
Brückner, a 43-year-old German, has been convicted of the rape of a 72-year-old American woman in Praia da Luz in 2005 and is now serving a seven-year term in Germany for that crime. As he serves his sentence, he is being investigated for other crimes, including the abduction of Madeleine McCann who police believe was murdered.
Brückner is also being investigated for the rape of Ms Behan, who has waived her anonymity and spoken a number of times in the media about the ordeal she was subjected to. She contacted the police last year when she heard about Brückner’s conviction for the attack on the 72-year-old American woman.
“My mind was blown when I read how he had attacked a woman in 2005, both the tactics and the methods he used, the tools he had with him, how well he had planned it out,” Ms Behan told The Guardian last year. “I puked, to be honest with you, as reading about it took me right back to my experience.”
Ms Behan, who lives in Ireland with her family, made a complaint to the Met Police last year as Scotland Yard’s inquiry into the child’s disappearance is working alongside the German investigation into all of Brückner’s alleged crimes.
The details Ms Behan supplied resulted in her case being reopened. Brückner was also named last year as the chief suspect in the Madeleine McCann case.
Ms Behan has been very critical of the Portuguese police’s investigation of the attack but information she has given to the police, including about birth marks on her attacker’s legs, appears to match Brückner.
