This is a gathering thread, NOT an answering thread.

It is OK to spend time figuring out if Bernt has answered the question someone is suggesting (in previous interviews, in the brick) and guide others to answers. This is how we avoid repetition and add value to interviews. Shared effort is appreciated! :)

DO spend some time thinking of good questions. What would you like to know?

I will gather questions from other places than here as well. If you have asked already, and I reacted to it, rest assured, it has been noted, and there is no need to repeat anything. Feel free to add more questions though if you got more uncovered area in your mind.

I have a few questions some of which I am pasting below:

1. Would it be an option for the PJ to take MO and RO in for questioning? Rachel being sick on May 2 would therefore have likely heard the comings and goings of the others on that evening. It would be highly unlikely she'd slept through the whole commotion (with people walking around the streets 'looking for options') even if she had not heard the accident itself. Matt too would no doubt have been involved, walking the streets late that evening, and as such, following a completely new line of questioning about 'May 2' would no doubt yield additional information. Any thoughts comments on this?

2.Related to the above point, as May 2 is a complete 'blank' in terms of statements and also detail from Kate's book was kind of 'skipped over' or re-invented as a set-up for May 3. Might just questioning just the Tapas 7 separately just about May 2 and nothing about May 3 yield results, increasing the propensity for someone to 'break'?

3.Have till receipts/records or CCTV (tricky) or other evidence been gleaned from May 2 from Chaplins' bar, where at least one, if not more, members in the Tapas group may have visited late on May 2 for the football? It is unlikely the football was adequately covered in the Tapas Bar. Plus, there have been leaks that on May 1, Chaplins' is where some members of the Tapas group were watching the football from. Any comments on this?

4.If the case iis re-opened can the photographic sheet/evidence of Madeleine's sleep issues thus supporting the sedation theory be included by the defence if not already? Kate contradicts this in her book by saying the always kids slept through the night.

5.During the PJ investigations, the pink blanket was among the items examined by forensic teams. Kate expressed concern over the handling of such personal items, fearing contamination or loss. However, later in the interview with Oprah on May 4, 2009 Kate said "I hope that the abductors cover her with her blanket." Could the investigation be re-opened.by the PJ just on this leak alone?

I have a few more Moxie just need to check a couple of things on those.

Yea, of course. My intent here is simply to gather / clarify / funnel the feedback and whatnot. Choosing the questions and places and times, text vs video: forums, video calls, interviews, podcasts, writing more brick(s), what have you, is obviously up to him. I think, if people start answering others the questions to which they just wanted to know Bernt´s take, it kind of defeats the purpose of the thread, so in other words that rule applies to everyone else but him.

There are a few things I’d like to ask Bernt, but my first question would be…
Since finishing The Brick have there been any other interviews/transcripts that you’ve been made aware of that support your theory or are even more obvious in pointing Maddie’s passing as being May 2nd and/or hinting at her final resting place?

Some people believe that Madeleine died the night of May 1st. One of their thoughts is that Mrs. Fenn heard a child cry "Daddy, Daddy" which they find odd. They believe it was Kate crying "Maddie, Maddie".

What do you think, Bernt: Why did Madeleine cry for her Dad and apparently not for her Mom? Or could it be possible that she cried for her Mom too, but Mrs. Fenn did not hear that or just didn't mention it?

Why do you put so much faith in Danie Krugel's device in your book, when the Rayno Gouws story you refer to ended in the parents trapsing around South Africa 4300 miles, only to find the boy died of a snakebite 8 months previous, having not moved anywhere?

Yeah I have posted there a few times and this was the only time I had the post stay in there for hours. I have had contact with the anonymous who posted JE1 in there without removal, in hopes they could have done the same with me, but I guess nope. Based on removal hours I am guessing their moderator´s in usa timezones, but unsure.

Bernt, do you maybe consider working together with Danie Krügel? In your book you wrote that you contacted him anonymously regarding the hair. Have you been in contact after your book had been released? I only know about him and his device from your book and just visited this website: http://www.daniekrugelfacts.com/

There it says that Krügel is still interested in finding Madeleine with his now patented device:
