Re: Operation Grange Update
Sky reported that the holiday rep was told of the assault. Portuguese press say this was a rape. Daily Fail report that the girl did not tell her parents at the time.
So who told the holiday rep?
We are meant to believe that a 10 year old did not tell her parents that a strange man sexually assaulted her in her bed while they were sleeping? And only after seeing CW decided to open up about her ordeal, kept secret for 9 years?

Thank RD. Confused, yes I certainly am.russiandoll wrote:plebgate wrote:I don't understand why a 10 yr old girl would not tell her parents about an attempted sexual assault on her by a smelly pot bellied man (or any other person). She would have been so frightened, I am surprised her parents would not have noticed and asked what had frightened/upset her.
How can arrests expect to be made shortly when they haven't even traced where the offender lives and as others have said, will have scarpered by now without leaving a forwarding address. Like eveything else we have read thus far, it doesn't make sense.
Plebgate.... according to Sky news yesterday this girl did tell her parents, this was iirc the incident which was reported to the holiday rep but not the police and as I have posted earlier one Portuguese news outlet has said that this was a rape.
Whoever reported what at the time and to whom....[ confusion is good] , it is clear that since the incident, there was no additional report to police until approx. 9 years later.

Re: Operation Grange Update
A rhetorical question. Why is the patsy the Met has finally plumped for a paedophile? As opposed to a disturbed burglar, a bitter ex-OC employee or a freelance British cleaner?

Maybe because from day dot the parents claimed it was a paedophile that abducted MBM and the Met are under orders to find a suitable paedophile patsy to back up the Mccann's theory.Dee Coy wrote:A rhetorical question. SY have basically run several "straw men" in the media and all of them were rightly ridiculed. The motives they tried to pin on the burglars or ex-employees were absurd. The only one that got traction with the red tops and the public was the paedo patsy. Nobody could question it, the press could have a field day with it.
Having discovered the correct "motive" and profile, there was a brief attempt to link it the dead tractorman, but that again was just too ridiculous for the public. So now we have a serial sex attacker - a string of crimes to convince everyone, and the hunt is on.
Of course the chances are this smellyman doesn't exist at all. Or if he does, he will almost certainly be untraceable. For that reason we have the increase in anti PJ rhetoric, so that SY can bow out in a few months time, complaining that they could not make progress because of the bungling and obstructive PJ. Patsy identified but not caught; parents exonerated; politicians safe; PJ to blame. Job done. £10m well spent...

Re: Operation Grange Update
They may think it will work out like that. However, if the Smelly and unshaven bur nevertheless aftershave-favouring (?) paedophile does actually exist at all, and indeed, if all the recently publicised crimes are going to be attributed to him, then surely his defence barrister is going to have a field day with all the anomalies apparent between the other alleged crimes and that relating to Madeleine. It won't be over til the fat man (or at least the fat man's barrister) sings and is heard.Bishop Brennan wrote:Dee Coy wrote:A rhetorical question. I suspect that if he is "found" he will be dead. Otherwise we should settle in for a long search! Perhaps a website and wristbands?

All very well ..........UNTIL............those darn pesky Portuguese release their second (joint?) 'investigation' FILES to a world wide 'audience'!
Then we'll know exactly WHICH Police force has/had been er, 'un-cooperative'.
26 'meetings' and counting, so far, all on record, between the Met and PJ.
I can't wait!
PJ: "We prefer not to discuss this with Superintendent Stuart Prior: (Leicester Police) we have the impression that he is only here to accompany the McCanns' interrogations and to prevent their detention. His concern on that subject is obvious."
eta; Superintendent Stuart Prior, LP, in his wildest dreams, NEVER thought his erm, umm,'behaviour' in the first 'investigation' would ever see the light of day!
! hope DCI Redwood, Met Police, is not harbouring the same 'dreams' as Leicestershire Police Officer, Superintendent Stuart Prior was!
