A rat is a rat whether escaped from sinking ship or not!
I can't see that happening.
Me neither. Who's going to believe he knew nothing if they're guilty?
I can see him penning a book and fading into obscurity where he belongs.

The second part I thought was the reaction of their ardent followers who insist on their innocence and believe in them
The third part IMO was CM is a rat deserting a sinking ship and would likely get out of it
But I might be completely wrong
It sounded like that to me also, but at the end of the day, it is one person's opinion. No confirmation and it is only what many posters here have already thought.
yes, I agree. My interpretation of BS post is purely my opinion, and nothing more. I may be totally wrong, but based on my research into the Fund and the connections to it by the different directors I may be putting two and two together and making five, but time will tell!
@Sallypelt, I meant that it is only BS's opinion and I agree with your posts.

New Survey Results
Interesting results from the NOP/ Shrimpton Social & Crime Survey.
The Shrimpton statistics department at Cambridge university is developing new techniques for measuring crime responses and connected phenomena. The Blacksmith Bureau has been given exclusive access to their latest report which deals with phenomena surrounding the abduction of Madeleine McCann.
Professor Shrimpton told us "we took a national news item, a recent Home Office announcement, and our field teams produced these results from the geographical dead centre of England, the West Midlands, and from London. We are still analysing the results because we can't understand the correlations. Nevertheless something is clearly happening."
Methodology is essentially a C-star complex algebra and a Taylor-Maclaurin statistical weighting series. The full details can be found on the university website.
Thank you professor.

The graphs that accompany the piece are quite good, if a bit repetitious.

I do wonder if the likes of Mitchell and others who have made £££££££££££s off the back of Madeleine, ever realised they were opening themselves up to so much ridicule 6 years after "the event". Talk about selling your soul to the devil. What is more degrading, making all that dosh off a missing/dead child or being laughed at for 6 long years.
