Re: A few oddities
Maybe the two adults and double buggy are not part of the McCann / Payne group?

There are topics on these which you will find if you use the search facility. Putting in the key word (I have recently discovered as I am useless) will normally bring up several topics where the word has been mentioned.

I don't recall seeing this pic. before but imo the body frames of those two women could be Mrs. and Fi Payne.ROSA wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In this clip if it works I notice on the right side a twin stroller but I thought the McCann's did not take one to Portugal
Looks like the one with the suitcases and buggy could have a pink toy over the arm - could that be cuddlecat?
I don't know if this photo is from the internet or official police files but I do think it is odd that they haven't been asked if it is them and if it is why they would have said they didn't take a stroller with them.
Has anyone ever sent a copy of this to the police with the other files?
I find it very hard to believe that a family of five with a lot of luggage required for a week's holiday would not take a stroller with them.

Re: A few oddities
Yes it is but very interesting that there is a double buggy there. I tried to enlarge it but it just gets fuzzier so made it much smaller and looked through my magnifying glass. It isn't as fuzzy but not clear enough to see who is who but I wager it is Sean in the right hand side of the double buggy but cannot prove it.MayMuse wrote:I believe this is just a snapshot "still" from the video which the family released of them boarding the aeroplane, and Madeleine fell up the stairs.plebgate wrote:I don't recall seeing this pic. before but imo the body frames of those two women could be Mrs. and Fi Payne.ROSA wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In this clip if it works I notice on the right side a twin stroller but I thought the McCann's did not take one to Portugal

Re: A few oddities
Thanks for that MayM. Having read Nina's post about using a magnifyer I did the same and it is still very fuzzy but it looks to me as though there could be two children in the buggy. Can't make out faces but it looks to me that the child in the pushchair on my left (looking at screen) has their head on an angle to my right (looking at screen) but so difficult to really make it all out it could be just a mass of pixels I suppose?

Re: A few oddities
I took a hard bodied pram to France when my second child was six weeks old as well as a stroller for the two year old-all in a Mini metro! And a buggy is essential with a toddler when you are flying to keep the tots safe and occupied at the airport... so YES very difficult to believe there was no buggy except of course the children had to share a single toothbrush didn't they?
Maybe we are looking at this all the wrong way around.
Maybe the question we should be asking is
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE *DOUBLE BUGGY ?
* If it existed

Re: A few oddities
not on the BBC site anymore, but the 'buggy' is about 5 seconds in...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
After having looked at it frame by frame, I don't think the person with the buggy is Kate, her jacket is too light coloured.

It is interesting to go still by still and on a less than 100% on a full screen.I wish I could do pictures.

Very worrying how much information has been hidden from public understanding.

Re: A few oddities
I was always quite skeptical about Kate and Gerry having involvement in this, but stories like that make me question the whole thing. I really struggled to understand why parents would cover up a child's death (yes, even given Gerry's profession etc) but if there would be evidence of sexual abuse on Madeleine it throws the whole thing into a very plausible realm.
And the more I read, the more likely I think it is that Madeleine died some time before Thursday night. What's that about the posters that Kate and Gerry managed to concoct in absurdly fast time the night of the disappearance?
Anyway, chilling food for thought and I won't clog up this thread any more because I assume it's meant to be more of a resource than a discussion.
