A relative of mine expressed an interest in doing a charity trek across the Sahara. He was unable to because all costs, flights, kit etc had to be met by the participants and to raise that kind of cash in addition to monies for the charity was prohibitive. Given that MP jolly is a domestic relatively low cost expedition you would like to think they could pay for their own B&b and sandwiches?

Have some small experience of making broadcast / communications media, "reportage" can be manipulated. These segments are created as "packages", the locations are carefully chosen, shots are chosen, anything not left "on the cutting room floor" is in for a very good reason.

Yes, maybe some-one with a professional interest in the case could ask how Kate McCann knows it 'won't help Madeleine'?

After all, good quality wrist bands, luggage labels and trips to America were deemed useful. And if the fund is still collecting money, surely it has to be on the basis that Madeleine IS 'findable.'

So TM wait several hours before speaking to a potential vital eye-witness. (Not forgetting that another potential vital eye-witness, neighbour Mrs Fenn, gets shouted at by Kate and Fiona).

But so unconcerned is this TV drama and documentary maker as one of the biggest news stories of the decade is breaking around him that he apparently dozes off after being told the news. And his wife who worked for Crimewatch and would know how the first few hours are critical when it comes to finding missing children also does nothing. Even though her own daugher allegedly played with Madeleine in the kids' club.
