Quite. I like your addition to the MacWhopper!russiandoll wrote: Oh for goodness sake is that the best you can all come up with after my suggestion for more additions to the new and revised macdictionary of the English language ?
seriously folks, while it might seem offensive and incongruous to see any humour in this case, I believe that from time to time if we don't have a little comic relief we will all go nuts. It is dark humour of course, how could it be anything else.....and coming up with the new definitions is working our brains but in a different way than usual.
I am confident we all know where to draw the line and this will grind to a halt quite naturally.
to add :
an extension of Rainbow Fairy's macwhopper........ supersize macwhopper with cheese.
an especially huge porkie pie with an extra layer of unhealthy and sickly stuff on top, for example a slushy sentimental photo-opportunity accompanying a macwhopper, supposed to add emotional impact to the story being told, but having the reverse effect on those not taking things at face value...just adding to the sudden urge to run and stick one's head down the toilet...........where the macwhopper quite rightly belongs.
I had to go away for a while after feeling very pleased for coming up with McFly and McFlurry - only to see you'd beaten me to it!

Why thank you, Madame - I enjoyed yours too (even though you beat me *scowl* )russiandoll wrote: Rainbow Fairy.........I don't know how you managed to come up with your last 8.... they were fantastic. [ I'll have some of whatever you are drinking !]
I dint realise I'd done 8! But hey, I was enjoying myself!...
As for having some of what I was drinking, well it wasn't McVino; (noun) a crisp New Zealand white wine - it was just Buxton mineral water. Oh and strong Yorkshire tea, skim milk no sugar. It definitely wasn't McTea; (noun) An unknown stain; often used euphemistically.
Sorry, couldn't help myself

gerrymccandering - distortion, manipulation or alteration to suit ones own ends. Gerrymccandering could be applied, often in tandem with clarrification, to any given situation which does not appear immediately favourable to oneself in order to render it either insignificant or more plausible and positive. One may also gerrymccander the terms of a McFund in order to make more of said McFund available to oneself and/or to make more of it available to spend on activities other than searching.
gerrypandering - subservience, adulation and overlooking of grave errors frequently employed by UK media outlets.
gerryslandering - description given, during gerrymccandering and clarrification, of the nasty forumites and bloggers who refuse to gerrypander to the McCanns abductionMcWhopper thesis.
