I don’t buy into the Crime Knight theory re the need for two bedrooms, this channel also tried to sensationalise that the lampposts in PDL were CCTV camera’s  in a previous episode, 




I also don’t see anything unusual about he Paynes need for two bedrooms and my post above gives plenty of reasonable plausible explanations for DW choosing to sleep in the livingroom

Exactly  ... and she probably wouldn't want to be banging and crashing about the room and waking up Lily once she arrived in from the Tapas restaurant. She was probably first up in the morning and putting on the kettle, also.
