Accounts 2023 Empty Accounts 2023

Post by Doug D 09.01.24 12:35

Accounts are up on Companies House site at 06248215, filed on 21st. I can’t copy and paste a readable copy from my phone, but little to see anyway.
No Income & Expenditure account as usual, which would probably be the only bit of any interest, but not much change to last year.
Couple of hundred in from the ‘bewk’ and don’t know what they spent some money on, but probably down to the ECHR case.

Accounts 2023 Empty The Fund

Post by Ladyinred 06.03.24 11:05

Daily Mail today:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13162927/Madeleine-McCanns-parents-1million-fund-missing-police-100k-hunt.html

Shouldn't the parents be spending some of the money after all this time?

Indeed - people of a cynical outlook would think their mortgage has been  cleared by now.

To be fair, they don't need to spend any money looking for Madeleine, the Met are spending our money doing it for them.

I don't think the Met is looking for Madeleine either.

Very limited information but it looks like they have paid the audit fee and the investment has gone down for whatever reason.

Good ol' Trace. On the ball as ever and it's only taken her two months to write this drivel since the accounts were filed!

'Kate and Gerry have stashed away £921,819 in the past financial year, according to latest accounts filed with Companies House.'

No they haven't!

No income & expenditure accounts of course to look at, so in theory they could have spent £900k & received £900k to replace it, but we know that hasn't happened, so all they have 'stashed away in the last financial year' is a couple of hundred quid from the bewk.

thinking Maybe they have stashed that cash away, but where? Not in their private company.

Bank account has reduced by £6k and Creditor of £5k have been paid, so no real movement there.

The investment is down by £47K and reserves by £49K.

No large amounts cash has been stashed here unless it has been removed again.
