Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
I'll go with 'or what'.
The case of missing Madeleine McCann - for that is what this is, has been the source of media sensationalism since Friday 4th May 2007.
If there's ever been any doubt in the minds of people about the integrity of the media, anyone who thinks what they read is fact - look closer. I've never believed much of what's reported, even the more lighthearted stuff, but the case of Madeleine McCann has sure revealed what it's all about for anyone who cares about truth, as opposed to salacious gossip, propaganda and misinformation.
It's a disgrace but what can you do, aside from thinking for yourself or ignoring what you read. It's been the way of things since the town crier hit the streets with tales of the unexpected.
The media won't go away, they are an integral part of the establishment.
Mind you .... 5th November is not so very far away . I feel an anniversary coming on .

A pair of Russian expats based in Spain have been linked to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
The two men, believed to be brothers, may have been involved with the buying and selling of yachts both in Portugal and Spain at the time of Maddie's disappearance.
According to an investigator for Portuguese national TV, German police 'are looking for these Russians.
Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters. who is leading the investigation for Germany's BKA, confirmed to RTP programme Sexta-as-9, that they may have been involved in the snatch of the toddler from the resort of Praia da Luz, on the Algarve in 2007.

Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner's lawyer says he's found proof he is innocent
EXCLUSIVE Friedrich Fuelscher said he has examined the areas around the flat in Praia da Luz, Portugal, where Madeleine McCann went missing and he now has proof Christian Brueckner is innocent.

Suspect Christian Brueckner was in Praia da Luz at the time Madeleine went missing according to mobile phone records.
Christian Brueckner’s lawyer claims he has found proof his client did not abduct Madeleine McCann.
Friedrich Fuelscher examined the areas around the flat in Praia da Luz, Portugal, where the McCanns stayed when Madeleine, three, vanished between 9.10pm and 10pm on May 3, 2007.
Mr Fuelscher said: “If the witness statements are correct, there was a time window of one minute and 30 seconds in which the child could have been abducted.”
Mobile phone records put Brueckner, 43, in Praia da Luz at the time Madeleine went missing.
But after timing distances from various places in the resort to the flat, Mr Fuelscher declared: “My client did not commit this crime.”
Madeleine was abducted in 2007 from a flat in Praia da Luz, Portugal.
German chief prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters has said there is “material evidence” Madeleine is dead.
Brueckner has previously been convicted of a string of charges including possession of child sex images and the rape of a pensioner.
He is currently serving a 21-month sentence in Kiel, northern Germany, on drug dealing charges.
But he claims he had nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance.
The convicted paedophile is in a prison in Kiel, northern Germany, for drug trafficking and raping a 72-year-old American woman in the Algarve.
The rape occurred about 18 months before three-year-old Madeleine, from Rothley, Leicestershire, vanished.
Brueckner was jailed for seven years for the attack on the American woman and 21 months for drug trafficking.

It looks as though Fülscher has been reading this Forum
Or the e-book, Chapter 4
http://whatreallyhappenedtomadeleinemccann.blogspot.com/2016/08/chapter-4-window-of-opportunity.html
Though I estimated it at 1 minute and 20 seconds !
"Working purely from the statements of Gerry McCann, Jeremy Wilkins, and Jane Tanner, and adding the time as we proceed we can estimate the following -
Gerry McCann left the Tapas bar 9:05 pm
Arrived at gate at bottom of stairs 9:06
Climbed stairs, entered apartment and went to bedroom 9:06.30s
Looked at children and had “proud father” moment 9:07
Used toilet 9:08
Left apartment, closing doors, went down stairs, met Jez Wilkins 9:09
Talked to Jez Wilkins 9:09 - 9:13 pm
Jane Tanner left Tapas bar 9:10 pm
JT arrived bottom of stairs, saw and passed the two men 9:11
JT saw abductor carrying child across top of road 9:11.05s
There is therefore, on their own timings, just two minutes and five seconds for the intruder to get in, seize Madeleine, get out again, and make his way round to the top of the road. To walk from the front door or window of the apartment to the left behind the low wall, then across the car park, then right to the corner of the street takes around 45 seconds, and a further 5 seconds to cross the street. [16]
He has therefore around one minute and twenty seconds to enter, commit the crime, and exit."
All we have to do now is persuade Grange to read it as well

POLICIA JUDICIARIA
DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OF PORTIMAO
NUIPC: 201107.OGALG8
MEMORANDUM RELATED TO INFORMATION ESTABLISHED VIA INFORMAL CONTACT WITH ROBERT MURAT ON 12/05/2007:
• Has lived in Almadena (Lagos);
• Has a brother who suffers from Dyslexia
• Questioned regarding the possible scenarios for the solution of the crime states:
1. that the recent offer of €1.000.000 may have the opposite effect of creating more abductions in Portugal in the future, namely carried out by Russians and Romanians; that the Russians are particularly cold when it comes to questions of money;
2. that the solution to the present case is in the resort and that the PJ have certainly come to understand this;
• States that the locale of Baroes is a locale where potential paedophiles exist interested in abducting children;
• He grew up in an area called Essen or Lessen, in the south of Norfolk and north of Southfolk (England);
• Related the case of an English abductor who due to media pressure released his victim, but in another case a 10 year old was murdered by a paedophile who buried her next to military base in Southfolk;
• Stated that he intended to rent a car as his car was being used for reasons he did not specify;
• That on this night he had a dinner booked in Lagos;
• That he served as a translator for the Northfolk police in situations where threats of a racist nature were made against Portuguese members of the community there.

Madeleine McCann suspect's lawyer claims telephone records prove Christian Brueckner could not have kidnapped the girl
Lawyer for chief suspect Christian Brueckner insists phone records that police believe place him at the scene will actually help prove his innocence
Friedrich Fulscher says witness accounts of girl's disappearance reveal a 90 second window when the kidnapping could have taken place
But he says measuring the time it would have taken to get from places where Brueckner could have been to the apartment don't add up
German prosecutors insist they have more evidence that is not being revealed

Madeleine McCann chief suspect Christian Brueckner did not kidnap the schoolgirl and his phone records will help prove it, his lawyer has insisted.
Friedrich Fulscher spoke out after returning from a fact-finding mission to Portugal, which he says left him convinced of Brueckner's innocence.
Fulscher said witness accounts of the evening three-year-old Madeleine disappeared from Praia da Luz suggest there is a 90 second window when a kidnapping could have taken place.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he insisted: 'My client did not commit this crime.'
Brueckner, a 43-year-old convicted paedophile, is currently in jail in Germany over the rape of an American tourist in Praia da Luz in 2005.
As yet no charges have been brought against him over the toddler's disappearance.
As well as insisting they have evidence that Brueckner is to blame, German prosecutors also claimed to have strong evidence that Madeleine is dead.

Is this the great revelation promised by the lawyer Friedrich Fulscher a while ago, following his visit to Portugal?
Really, is that the best he can do?
He would be put to better use if he started and the beginning of the case of missing Madeleine McCann, rather than taking up a point made by the German police about an alleged phone call - a phone call that is far from credible. According to reports emanating from a German source, that is Hans Christian Wolter, it's not even known who made a mobile phone call to who. If he's serious about this case and not just making a name for himself, why doesn't Herr Fulscher check the case detail from 3rd/4th May 2007, why waste time and energy chasing unsubstantiated information?
Following available evidence, Madeleine McCann was not abducted - focus on that and work outwards. Don't jump in the middle of rumour and try to make sense of, or prove/disprove a nothingness.
This can only be viewed as scandal mongering but why Friedrich Fulscher is trying to defend something that's not even evidenced, let alone proven, I'm at a loss to understand. The German prisoner hasn't even been officially accused of anything relating to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, so why try to defend something that hasn't knowingly taken place?
I don't think for one second the German prisoner was in any way involved with Madeleine McCann's disappearance, anymore than I believe Raymond Hewlett was involved when he took centre stage.
I'm frankly astonished to hear that Friedrich Fulscher works for a renowned German law firm - unless of course this all part of the wider agenda, the long term strategy so proudly boasted by Professor Gerald McCann back in the day.

‘SHOW YOUR CARDS’ Madeleine McCann prime suspect Christian B’s lawyer demands cops reveal ‘concrete evidence’ he killed her
Nick Pisa
14 Oct 2020, 19:37Updated: 14 Oct 2020, 19:37
THE lawyer for Madeleine McCann suspect Christian B has called on prosecutors to ''show their cards'' to be ''fair'' to them and his client.
Friedrich Fulscher has demanded that German investigators share the "concrete evidence" they have that proves Madeleine is dead - something he claims they have refused to reveal.
Friedrich Fulscher said prosecutors should be fair to his client
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Mr Fulscher said: ''It is no secret that the Portuguese have a different theory of what happened to the German BKA (federal police).
"The German prosecution could put an end to this theory when they finally put their cards on the table.
''This would be fair to the suspect and for the parents - both sides could judge for themselves how robust they consider the evidence to be.''
The convicted paedophile and rapist, 43, was identified by German prosecutors as the man responsible for Maddie's 2007 abduction, in June and they dramatically revealed they had ''concrete evidence'' she was dead but have so far refused to disclose any details or charge him.
In June detectives insisted they had "strong evidence" that the little girl was dead after uncovering a trove of pictures and videos allegedly buried by Christian B.
Speaking on news programme RTL, Mr Fulscher, said: ''At the moment I can only evaluate the Portuguese files.
"The German files have so far been withheld from me.
"On this basis, ie the Portuguese files, I have to state that there is a lot to be said for the argument that an accident took place in the apartment and after which Madeleine's body was hidden."
He added: "If you knew the Portuguese investigation file as I do, there was more than one perpetrator in Portugal at that time who had a corresponding [criminal] history.''
Discredited Portugese police chief Goncalo Amaral astonishingly had parents Kate and Gerry arrested and made official suspects in 2008, after her disappearance from the apartment in Praia da Luz on the Algarve coast but the theory was thrown out.
Amaral was later dismissed but went on to write a shameless book further suggesting they were responsible and they have now taken him to the European Court over it and Mr Fulscher is known to have met him in Lisbon twice in recent weeks to discuss the case.
Yesterday Mr Fulscher claimed Christian B's mobile phone records "prove his innocence."
He claims he has looked at Christian's mobile records, and worked out potential times and distances to the holiday apartment the McCann family were staying at on the night the toddler disappeared.
The three-year-old was abducted between 9.10pm and 10pm on May 3, 2007.
He told the Mirror: “If the witness statements are correct, there was a time window of one minute and 30 seconds in which the child could have been abducted.
“My client did not commit this crime."

Nick Pisa of the Sun is not known for accurate unbiased reportage, like his many predecessors he has a tendency to flavour the McCann story line. Evidence and/or fact are clearly not necessary just as long as you follow the official narrative.
Witness statements are not correct and 'the child' was not abducted. If you take the time to check the PJ files Mr Pisa and Herr Fulscher, all will be revealed.
I can't imagine what Friedrich Fulscher and his employers are playing at but justice in the name of Madeleine McCann it ain't! It's nigh on five months now since this rubbish hit the headlines and still it continues. The German's alleged phone records/contact amount to nothing but detraction.
The only suspects in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann are the parents, Gerry and Kate McCann - nothing has changed.

To keep the show on the road?
Christian Brueckner's previous lawyer allegedly bailed out for an undisclosed reason.
Herr Fulscher reportedly works for a reputable law firm. Apparently Brueckner hasn't the money to employ a lawyer so it's an open question as to why a reputable firm of lawyers would be representing a known criminal with a string of convictions as long as the arm of the law - imprisoned to boot! And why would an employee of a reputable firm of lawyers be blabbing to the press every given opportunity - not very professional.
Germany has never been far away from this saga.
As begs the unanswered question .... why was a renowned firm of libel lawyers engaged to represent the interests of the McCanns back in the day.
Who pays the ferryman?

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
I doubt that the State would have given out so much money in advance unless they expected to get it back somehow? The loser will have to cover its costs, which already must be huge.
It has been confirmed they are using English lawyers. I guess they are planning to Sue somebody? How much can they expect to make?
But Herr Wolters seems to be set on a course which against all logic and evidence not to mention good advice from day one, will only lead to the point where he has to show his cards.
Whether it be at an interview with CB or at the preliminary hearing.
I cannot think what Herr Wolters might have that no-one else has found.

About three weeks ago after returning from a trip to Portugal, Friedrich Fulscher claimed to have new evidence, from an undisclosed source, that would not only clear his clients name but also knock the British out of their chairs.
Was the latest revelation about phone records and the window of opportunity his trump card, or has he got another up his sleeve? Either way, his alleged evidenced working hypotheses hinges on the night of Thursday 3rd May 2007. As the consensus of opinion here on CMOMM is Madeleine McCann's disappearance being earlier in the week, Fulscher's revelation is seemingly irrelevant and thus creating yet another diversion.
Admittedly I'm no authority on German law so I can only be guided by logic and common sense. Fulscher's law firm, if high profile as reported, must be very expensive to hire. Okay, I accept a prisoner or crime suspect is entitled to a duty lawyer, if they don't have a lawyer but surely, the prison authorities would have a list of duty lawyers, rather than permitting a convict to choose their own lawyer?
If the prisoner or suspect has no money to engage the services of a lawyer then, without a wealthy benefactor working behind the scenes, the tax payer would foot the bill for the duty lawyers fees. I seriously doubt the authorities would allow a prisoner to engage the services of a very expensive firm of lawyers.
On the surface it would appear that Fulscher is busily working on clearing Christian B's name full-stop, not specifically for a crime relative to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann - the fees so far must be far and beyond the call of duty lawyer.
By way of comparison, where would the McCanns have been if not for 'a source' providing them with representation by the best libel lawyers in the land - they wouldn't have got that through legal aid!
That aside, this is all just a matter of media reportage. When information comes from an 'official source' then and only then, will it be worth hearing.

DO OR DIE Madeleine McCann cops need massive breakthrough in next 10 weeks or case against suspect Christian B could ‘evaporate’

MADELEINE McCann cops need a breakthrough in the next ten weeks or the case against prime suspect Christian B could “evaporate”.
The 43-year-old convicted paedophile and rapist is in prison in his native Germany but no formal charges have been brought against him.
Madeleine disappeared while on holiday in the Algarve resort of Praia Da Luz in 2007 and Christian B was named as the prime suspect after mobile phone records placed in the area at the time.
Although German cops remain certain he is involved, they are now privately admitting the investigation is at a “make or break stage”, The Sun Online has learnt.
It comes as his lawyer has demanded that German investigators share "concrete evidence" they have that proves Madeleine is dead - something he claims they have refused to reveal.
“German detectives are concerned that a lot of the momentum they had in the days and weeks after Christian B was first named has now been lost,” said a source close to the investigation in Praia Da Luz.
“They are now of the view it is critical that they take a massive step forward before the end of the year.
“Otherwise they fear the case against Christian B may even just evaporate entirely.
“Detectives know the case is hanging by a thread and that the next 10 weeks between now and the end of the year are absolutely vital if they are going to be able to solve the case and find answers.”
The admission comes days after the Christian B’s lawyer Friedrich Fulscher called on prosecutors to ''show their cards'' to be ''fair'' to them and his client.
''It is no secret that the Portuguese have a different theory of what happened to the German BKA (federal police),” he said.
"The German prosecution could put an end to this theory when they finally put their cards on the table.
''This would be fair to the suspect and for the parents - both sides could judge for themselves how robust they consider the evidence to be.”
With the clock ticking in the case there have been reports suggesting a fellow an inmate in Kiel Prison may have been recruited by detectives to get the jailed sex-offender to talk.
That prompted Christian B to insist he won’t all for “dirty tricks” he believes German cops have been using to try and get him to confess to taking Madeleine.
“He has been boasting there is no way he will fall for it,” said a source.
“To him the whole thing is a game of cat and mouse and he has remained silent throughout.”

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
It has been said that the investigation into the German prisoner, Christian B, was the result of a tip-off, following the broadcast of the McCanns 2017 tenth anniversary televised appeal. As with every aspect of this peculiar saga, there is no official confirmation to identify who, when, where and/or why the information came at this point, nor indeed who was tipped-off. It appeared to have given Operation Grange fresh impetus - just what they need when the case is going stale.
Ten years on: Kate and Gerry McCann in their own words - 30th April 2017
The 43-year-old German man, named in reports as Christian B, is currently serving a prison sentence.
He is believed to have been in the area where Madeleine, three, went missing while on holiday in Portugal in 2007.
A source told the BBC an investigation into the suspect began after a tip-off in Germany in 2017.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the McCanns said they would be "encouraged" by the response to the latest appeal for information.
The UK's Metropolitan Police said it had received more than 270 calls and emails since revealing details of the new suspect on Wednesday.
German prosecutors have said they are assuming Madeleine is dead and that the suspect is being investigated on suspicion of murder.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Funny how the McCanns are saying that there is still hope, yet their supporters are claiming that Brueckner is responsible for her death.
This is another reason that I believe that it is not the McCanns that are being protected, but something that they know about and was taking place in PDL that week.

Lawyer for suspect in Madeleine McCann case demands concrete evidence

An attorney for the man suspected of kidnapping British toddler Madeleine McCann is demanding that prosecutors share concrete evidence or throw out the case — and police are privately admitting they desperately need a breakthrough in the 13-year-old case.
Friedrich Fulscher wants German investigators to “show their cards” against his client, 43-year-old Christian Bruckner, a convicted pedophile and rapist who is now doing time in his native Germany.
No formal charges have been brought against Bruckner in the McCann case, although cell phone records placed him in southern Portugal when 3-year-old Madeleine disappeared while on vacation with her parents in May 2007.
”It is no secret that the Portuguese have a different theory of what happened to the German BKA (federal police),” Fulscher told The Sun. “The German prosecution could put an end to this theory when they finally put their cards on the table. This would be fair to the suspect and for the parents — both sides could judge for themselves how robust they consider the evidence to be.”
German authorities have said they are certain Bruckner is involved, but now they are privately admitting the investigation is at a “make or break stage,” sources told The Sun.
“German detectives are concerned that a lot of the momentum they had in the days and weeks after Christian Bruckner was first named has now been lost,” said a source close to the investigation.

Come on - if a lawyer working for a reputable German law firm, would you sell your soul to a seedy tabloid like The Sun? A tabloid that just happens to be a staunch supporter of the McCann faction and a subsidiary of the murky world of Murdoch?
It stinks!

My hunch is similar. I think that if anyone could establish the absolute truth about the "holiday," the reasons would become clearer.

There is a possibility that the McCann's are inadvertantly 'riding the crest of a wave' in a cover-up of something far greater that had been thought to have been unbeknowlingly uncovered by them but actually hadn't.

As soon as anyone who could be classed as being “Shady” or could become a possible “Witness” even thought that the Media spotlight was going to be shining in PDL they packed up and left very quickly. Brückner apparrently trying to cover his tracks.
It was definitely bad for Business - whatever Business it was.

It seems that potentially two, unrelated stories merged somehow along the way to become entwined and inextricably linked for evermore. Not quite the textbook definition of symbiosis that immediately springs to mind.

Madeleine McCann cops hunt Russian men who spoke with suspect before she vanished
EXCLUSIVE: German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said Christian Brueckner had contact with them in the spring of 2007, just before Madeleine McCann vanished from the Praia da Luz resort in Portugal

Madeleine McCann detectives are hunting Russian men who spoke with the prime suspect around the time she disappeared.
German paedophile Christian Brueckner – who was living near the Portuguese Praia da Luz resort where Madeleine vanished in 2007 – had contact with them in the spring of that year.
He has since told the Daily Star: “We know that Christian B. had contacts with Russian-speaking people in the spring of 2007.
“Because we want to interview all people who had any kind of contact with Christian B. at the time, we are also interested in these men.”
The McCann family’s spokesman and the Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment.
Manfred Seyferth, a former friend of Brueckner, earlier told the Portuguese programme that German detectives had asked him about the Russians.
He said: “Police visited me in 2019 and asked about a murder (Madeleine’s) and asked about two Russians in Spain and if I knew them.
“They picked me up in Frankfurt and said it was a homicide case and then asked if I knew two Russians in Spain…two Russian brothers.
“I told them I don’t know any Russians in Spain.”
The 64-year-old drifter lived in a caravan next to Christian’s house in Portugal in 2007.
He told The Sun he “stole some diesel and some solar panels” – but disassociated himself from the “sick” Brueckner.
Seyferth said: “After Maddie disappeared, I didn’t see him (Christian) for a few months until a hippy festival in Orgiva (in Spain) a year later.
“He turned up in a big American camper van and was with a young girl, she looked about 15 and he would have been double her age.
"I didn’t like it one bit so I had nothing to do with him."

German paedophile Christian Brueckner – who was living near the Portuguese Praia da Luz resort where Madeleine vanished in 2007 – had contact with them in the spring of that year.
Earlier this month, the Olive Press claimed the two men – thought to be brothers – may have been selling yachts in the country and in Portugal.
German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters, who is leading the investigation, reportedly said the men could have been involved on Portuguese programme Sexta-as-9.
He has since told the Daily Star: “We know that Christian B. had contacts with Russian-speaking people in the spring of 2007.

Former Met detective chief inspector Mick Neville said: “The sum of £12million seems an awful lot of money. But if she has been murdered, her killer must be brought to justice. Any parent would want the same if it was their child.”
Cut from Verdi’s post.
Yes, Mick, but no other parent gets anywhere near that amount spent on their missing child, do they.
