Hi Verdi. Yes, fair enough - CCleaner does do that. In the version of it that I use, you get an option for "normal" deletion and options for "secure" deletion with 1, 3, 7 or 35 overpasses, the last being known as the Gutmann method. I suppose it is a pretty good program. As I said, I haven't read up on Robert Murat. But I wouldn't say that in itself having CCleaner installed is grounds for suspecting anything. I use the standard deletion (junk-clearing) function of CCleaner all the time, and when I've been on a clean-up kick and defragmented my hard drive I've sometimes used the secure deletion function too, perhaps even on occasion with 35 passes - I can't remember. (Edit: I just tested it, and on my laptop 35 overpasses don't seem to take much longer than a "normal" deletion.) Some people use document shredders. I think a bit too much is being built on CCleaner when it's available for free on the non-dark web, is widely used, and is highly recommended at places like [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Made me think of the account I read somewhere that Mossad went to the trouble of doing a massive mock-up of Dealy Plaza etc. in an effort to work out what was going on when Jack Kennedy was assassinated - or to give the impression to some market that that's what they were doing - but anyway...

It's probably selling the "TM leave no stone unturned" message, but that's what it made me think of.

As for a hidden message, that makes me think of Ian Brady. Some relatives of one of his and Myra Hindley's victims whose body has never been found are convinced that he leaves hidden messages in stuff that he's written. They have followed what he does closely for many years and given that he believes he is some kind of superman my hunch is that they are right. In relation to a certain Portuguese case, this would not simply be "they're arrogant and they're having a laugh" territory; this would be "they are very very sick indeed; catch me if you can, Inspector Abberline" territory.

CCleaner is very useful for clearing out temp files, History and the Registry which build up and slow down a Windows pc. Every time I have done an update , I have found Registry keys left open so I do a cleanup every time I do an update...just sensible maintenance. Hope this helps if you are running out of hard drive space for all the info that we have on the MBM case but better to use Linux and have external drives.

The model was done in software but I don't know which one was used. One giveaway is the small wall at the front , done in 3 sections as it was not needed in a high res. I did rather expect £ signs instead of the @ signs as searching never got on the the Things to Do list.

There is an embedded 'information' throughout much of the 'broken' letters part of the video.
It starts with broken letters gathering to form the introductory words, then the reverse where @ signs, http signs, photos, etc. break words up.
To me, it clearly means, break things up.

Luz Beach, Rocha Negra(spelling) with its trig point, road sign of Luz -Lagos, the church, the road journey possibly along the Autoroute just north of Luz, direction Lagos, possibly focussing on the golf course, and of course, if that's the correct area, that would include CF's house, but if not, then possible one with a peach wall nearby, who knows. The truly questionable candy pictures of Maddie, all with @ for emails and http for websites, crossing the screen in a very 'broken' form ....

No, it is not the same villa.  Casa da Colina = house on the hill.  It's not near the sea-front.

The Villa in that Express article was believed to be Casa Via Mar which is NEXT DOOR to Clement Freud's Villa.

Paul Luckman, owner and publisher of Portugal News, was told by a dog handler who searched that Villa:

"The search dog handler said the villa had a room with a kind of amateur studio with video equipment and cameras with children’s toys and pictures of children on the wall. He felt it was something to do with paedophiles. He told the police and they seemed to know something about it, but we don’t think they took it any further."

Now CF has been outed as a paedophile, one would think this would be regarded as very significant?

 I've always thought this could be connected. Children are often drugged whilst abuse is caried out, maybe the abuse was carried out but the child becomes ill afterwards or non responsive, the parents being 'experts' think they can handle the situation. When the situation becomes critical they have to cover up the death because of evidence of abuse on the body an overdose. now this Freud stuff has come out it does look like an attempt to associate him with possible abuse and leave the trail there....Another lone, dead abuser like Savile who we are led to believe carried out all this stuff with no establishment or security agency connections.

Just watched that video and (whilst I do think the CF discussion is being promoted by the wider Team Mc Cann ) I do think you may be right re the message in this video.

The way the letters are falling does give the impression of going into a shredder or waste bin. Showing those particular pictures of Madeleine does seem to indicate that it is this area which needs deleting.

This whole CF episode demonstrated two things. Firstly TM will manipulate just about anything to add the slightest weight to their assertion of abduction. It also shows quite clearly the circles they moved in and why exactly the OG shouldn't in anyway have begun with the remit of ruling the T9 out of its enquiries.

Yes, there is no doubt an innocent explanation for anything the police may or may not have found, even if Robert Murat had difficulty remembering quite how he came by CCleaner.

I'm not specifically trying to find reason to suspect Robert Murat, I just offer links to the PJ files that show the investigation took more than a passing interest in his activities.  Trouble with Robert Murat, he's like the dogs Eddie and Keela, no matter how you try you just can't get rid of him, he's always lurking about in the background.  All the twists and turns over time, no matter where you look - there he is!

The important thing is I guess - the investigation didn't uncover anything on his computer/s to implicate him in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann - book closed.  This, snipped from Get'emGoncalo's post on another thread is a good indication why Robert Murat and his business (?) associate Sergey Malinka,  might have been put under the spotlight..

Nor have I seen confirmation of the events from any other source, close to the family or otherwise.

Burgau pub-landlord trashes British press for latest McCann “lunacy”

Well-known Burgau pub landlord Robert (Rotten) Hurst has come out in print over the latest lunatic “revelations” in the British press linking his business with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and recently-outed alleged paedophile Clement Freud.

According to the Sun, the Daily Mail and the Daily Star, Freud was a regular at the Pig’s Head and he used to drink there with “former Madeleine McCann suspect” Robert Murat.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact Clement Freud only once stepped inside the Pig’s Head “over 20 years ago”, and Robert Murat similarly, “about eight years ago”.

It is hard to see which article is the most “factually ridiculous”.

The Sun’s goes furthest perhaps, describing the much-loved watering hole as a “pub for paedos”.

“It’s absolute lunacy,” Hurst told the Resident. “It wasn’t even an interview. Two blokes came in and had a drink, and then asked me a few questions as they were leaving.”

Reacting to the “exclusive” run by the Sun, Hurst wrote on the paper’s website: “As the landlord of the Pig’s Head, I can categorically state that this story is factually ridiculous. When asked if Clement Freud had been a regular in the pub, I told them he had been here once at least 20 years ago. Further, when asked about Robert Murat, I told them he had also been here once about eight years ago. How they managed to connect the two of them is another piece of nonsense… This kind of irresponsible journalism can do no good whatsoever for anyone. Heaven only knows what kind of feeding frenzy will be unleashed next year on the 10th anniversary.”

Hurst did, however, have one memory of Clement Freud’s visit to his establishment.

“He came in with a friend, who asked me whether we had any champagne,” he told the Resident.

“I said that we didn’t. He asked me ‘why ever not’, in a superior kind of way. I said because it might attract the wrong kind of clientele.”

Hurst claims “no one believes a word” of the latest stories, yet they even get a mention in national press today, under the headline: “Freud and Murat in the same bar.”

Considering the differing time-lines, this could be construed as ‘true’ if hugely misleading.

But the affirmations in all three British papers that both men were on “nodding terms” appear as bogus as the claims that Murat had anything to do with Madeleine’s disappearance.

Readers will remember that Murat won record damages from four British newspaper groups for slurs written against him.

The Sun, Star and Mail are all properties of the groups that were also forced to make public apologies.

Speaking outside the High Court in London eight years ago, Louis Charalambous, Murat’s lawyer, described the behaviour of tabloid journalists and editors involved in the slurs as “grossly irresponsible”, saying they had shown a “reckless disregard for the truth”.
