Claiming Madeleine awoke when they were robbing the apartment?
What evidence is there of this, unless they are confusing the 'robbery' with the previous night when she was supposedly crying?
An officer has stated that the Portuguese are 'blocking' them from furthering this enquiry?
Not verbatim and 'unbelievable'!
Is this a ruse they will be using for the next 5 years?
I do hope the Portuguese have something to say about this.

It's just a web of lies regurgitated over the years IMO

Exactly this indecisive and highly improbable theory was precisely the outcome that was grimly predicted on CMOMM by many of us three or more years ago.

Operation Grange seem to have copied and pasted what we predicted they would tell us. Almost word for word, in fact.

This is definitely Mccan lies, she told at least two police officers as per their statements that it was the TWINS who were crying. Was it an attempt to place Maddie there that morning ?

Madeleine's revelation about Wednesday night, when she said that she was left alone during the night. She told Kate and Gerry that she remembered the twins crying and that she wanted to know why neither her mother nor her father had gone to the room to see what was happening.

Kate revealed that Madeleine had spoken with her in the morning of her disappearance and said that she remembered the twins had cried during the night and that she wanted to know why neither her mother or father had appeared.

Thank you for all the replies, interesting enough I was just looking at some videos as someone had asked (another post which I seem to have lost now ) if anyone knew where it was said that Madeleine was unable to reach the patio doors/window? I.e not tall enough to reach to,open &'leave the apartment by herself. So, whilst I haven't managed to find that as yet, on viewing another video RTE (Ireland) Kate says that the 'twins' view Madeleleine being taken like a 'burglary'... So not just those here 'predicting' the future?

I would upload but for some reason my phone doesn't support it (read, don't know how) winkwink

Madeleine McCann was kidnapped by a group of thieves because she woke up while they robbed her family's holiday apartment, it has been claimed.
This is believed to be the final line of inquiry mentioned recently by Scotland Yard's boss Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, who said two days ago the probe could formally finish within months.
It is believed to centre on a group of thieves which included a 16-year-old teenager and a man who worked at the Mark Warner resort in Portugal when she disappeared in 2007.
It has been claimed Madeleine (pictured) was taken by a group of thieves during a botched robbery of the apartment in which she was sleeping in May 2007
Kate and Gerry McCann (pictured) have campaigned tirelessly in a bid to solve the mystery disappearance of their daughter
The Ocean Club in Praia Da Luz, Portugal, where the McCann's were staying when Madeleine went missing
According to The Sun, phone calls raise questions about the group's actions on the night of the three-year-old's disappearance.
It's claimed they have been identified as suspects by British police, but officers are being blocked from accessing them by Portuguese cops who say no new evidence has been brought forward
An officer told the paper: 'It has dogged the investigation all the way through and it's happening again.
'If we can't question the three suspects again the trail goes cold and the case will be shelved.'
When they were previously interviewed, the men admitted theft from apartments at the complex but denied any involvement in the youngster's disappearance.
Madeleine vanished at the age of three while on holiday with her parents in Portugal in 2007. Despite a high-profile hunt, no trace of her has ever been found.
Speaking on LBC this week, Sir Bernard said: 'There's been a lot of investigation time spent on this terrible case.
'It's a child who went missing, everybody wants to know if she is alive and if she is where is she, and sadly if she's dead then we need to give some comfort to the family.
'It's needed us to carry out an investigation together with the Portuguese and other countries have been involved.
'There is a line of inquiry that remains to be concluded and it's expected that in the coming months that will happen.'
Met Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe says the probe into Madeleine's disappearance will wind down in the next few months once one 'final' line of enquiry has been completed

Sir Bernard's comments come just weeks after the Home Office granted £95,000 funding to keep the investigation - which now only has a handful of officers working on it - going for another few months.
Sir Bernard said: 'The size of the team has come down radically, we are now down to two or three people in that team, at one stage there were about 30 officers in it.'
But he added: 'There is a line of inquiry that everybody agrees is worthwhile pursuing.'
When asked when the probe called Operation Grange will end, the Met chief said: 'At the moment it would be at the conclusion of this line of inquiry unless something else comes up.
'If somebody comes forward and gives us good evidence we will follow it. We always say that a missing child inquiry is never closed.'
Operation Grange, which is estimated to have cost £12million so far, was launched in 2011 after the Portuguese police ended their investigation into Madeleine's whereabouts.
British officers searching for Madeleine have taken more than 1,300 statements and spent several days digging up scrubland in the Algarve in the hunt for clues.

Oh Jean, Isabel Martorell of Carter Ruck admitted under oath she hadn't read Kate's bewk and could only confirm 'abduction' as her client's instruction.
