Good to see the Daily Star on the ball with their reporting!

It could just be a coincidence, but this Met Police FOI response was dated 13th August 2017.

Three officers and then two officers makes five by my reckoning and the cost is just a tenner out.

The Met have published nothing since then, although it still could be in the pipeline as they are always slow to publish their responses.

I note you seek access to the following information:
Please disclose the total number of return flights to Portugal made by officers working on Operation Grange in 2017.
Please disclose the total cost of the flights.
DECISION
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
To date there have been 2 return flights to Portugal this year.
In March three officers flew to Portugal at a total cost of £750 - whilst in May 2 officers flew to Portugal, costs being £500.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Metropolitan Police Service.

Madeleine McCann cops in secret trips to Portugal as police remain on trail

Jonhathan Corke Published 9th September 2018

POLICE looking for missing Madeleine McCann have made secret visits to Portugal.

The Daily Star Sunday can reveal detectives bought five return flights to the country in the last financial year.
The air tickets, which cost £1,240, were for two separate trips, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The senior investigating officer, Det Chief Insp Nicola Wall, also claimed £811 for accommodation along with £80 on taxis to and from UK airports.
As well as DCI Wall, three detective constables and one detective sergeant are in the Operation Grange investigating team.
Their probe recently won further Home Office funding of up to £150,000.d
Former police and taxpayers have questioned why the probe is still going on.
Details of the flights, which we obtained via Freedom of Information laws, suggest there could still be important leads.
Madeleine’s parents Kate, 50, and Gerry, 49, of Rothley, Leics, believe their girl, who would now be 15, could still be alive.

An £11.5million police probe into her disappearance began in 2011 after a plea to then Prime Minister David Cameron for a British investigation.
Madeleine was three when she vanished from a holiday apartment in 2007 while her parents dined with friends nearby.

How can these amateur journos possibly know and state as fact that when Madeleine went missing, her parents, Prime Suspects, Kate & Gerry were out at the Tapas?

How can they state as fact what the prime suspects believe?

Shouldn't these lines read

"Madeleine went missing during a family holiday in May 2007"
or "McCanns CLAIM that Madeleine went missing whilst they were out at the tapas.

and

"McCanns SAY that they believe Madeleine is still alive"  because surely it is false to the that they believe this, it cannot possibly be correct.

Hi Sharon,The Daily star,Express are gleefully awaiting any Guilty charge involved in Madeleine McCann's disappearance?
They will be first inline for a return of any fines imposed by UK Regulations of former code breaking?
They know what they have wrote and are still producing to this day,"Fictious Dates" made out as though today,Headline filler nonsense sales?
I watched Video "youtube 7 Lionesses attack Lion"Game keeper comes to Lion's rescue, firing shots to disperse malicious Females,Tapas clan,Super Injunction,Diane W April 2008,statement,pact of silence?

Is Theresa May still prepared to act as "Game Keeper" for Kate Gerry from the malicious press that will ensue in any Crown Court procedures, next point,Human right acts Article 6/8 Privacy,Right to a Fair trail, its a No. bignono
Operation Grange are keeping stcum,it will be a different matter if Portugal release their case files on Madeleine pt 2 re-opening,that Kate,Gerry never instigated,it must have slipped their busy schedule, letters to Cameron UK Police review,Rebekah Brooks,Leveson?
