I explained earlier that they will be checking the story out when they all get back to work on Monday morning. Besides, the Telegraph is already going with it, and the Times Online is now following on from its sister papersonic72 wrote:I see the BBC and most of the other media/newpapers are not reporting on this?!
Strange, especially considering they have been all been reporting on the recent news surrounding the case.
Seems to me that they are being very selective on what they are reporting on, which highlights how one-sided their reporting is.

Perhaps someone could let us know if they have developed the story?

IT leads to a video that states the SY believes that Madeleine's disappearance was a planned abduction.AndyB wrote:
You've linked to a one and a quarter hour Spanish news program, the headline of which appears to be a demonstration about cuts.
Oops should have watched the whole video.
I guess soon the McCanns might be hanging missing posters on the antarctic.

In the ST it quotes "a McCann Fund Source as saying that it would have been too expensive to investigate both sightings (Tannerman and Smithman) in full - so the E-Fits were not publicised. It was also considered necessary to threaten legal action against the authors."
So how did that conversation go then?
"Yeah thanks for all your great work guys, here's your money, unfortunately we just can't afford to go any further with that, so keep it under your hats or we have plenty more money available for legal action."
Sightings from all over the world appeared to be given credence and enthusiastically followed up yet this sighting - descibed by DI Redwood in Crimewatch as a white man with brown hair, carrying a child 3 to 4 years old, possibly wearing pyjamas - is dismissed, in fact not dismissed, but is actually censored by threat of legal action.
This sighting was of a girl matching Madeleines description, on the night of Madeleines disappearance, 5 minutes from Madeleines apartment!!! Even if the fund really couldn't afford to follow this lead, why threaten legal action if it is disclosed. WHY?????

The article text on the Star conveniently doesn't mention the fact that it was the McCann's that suppressed the E-fits Candyfloss! But its a start I suppose...

Thanks. I'm a mother with 2 children under 4 who are always waking up during the night which is why I could never understand how the mccans were so sure they were safe in an unlocked holiday apartment. Recently, i began to think that perhaps they had indeed sedated them and when they found she was missing they knew she wouldnt have gone wandering out on Her own and so were sure ''they've taken Her''. I also thought that none of the tapas lot ever checked inside the appartments but just listened for crying now and again so that was why the madeup timeline made nosense. Although this theory would have explained why KM didn't answer the 48 questions, the lie detector test, the recostruction refusal it still couln't explain the dog evidence. Finally this ST article has got me thinking how low they can go and if they willingly concealed an efit of a possible abductor which could have helped years ago to find maddie then there really couldnt ever have been an abductor. They wouldnt dismiss the sighting just so that their tannerman version of events would be believed if she really had been abducted and wanted to find her. This article to me gives more evidence that GA was right all along!admin wrote:Yes, to our 383 new members who have registered this month

I have to agree and she has guts to speak out. You are right many of us have followed this from the start on forums from the old AOL and Mirror forums to here. I hope times are changing and many more celebs speak out but I doubt it.melisande wrote:She is only saying what the majority of us are thinking. They (SY) had to apply to the fund so that it could be handed over, didn't they.? Slightly different. It looks like from this below that they asked the PI's for it but they couldn't hand it over until they had permission.Prehensile wrote:By applying to the to the fund for info.TheTruthWillOut wrote:So SY did? He claimed the legal threat had prevented him from handing over the report to Scotland Yard's fresh investigation, until detectives had written permission from the fund.

I shall be interested to see if GM raises his head above the parapet in the next few days to weeks in order to participate in any media interviews following this particular cat clawing its way out of the bag (though I'm sure he has a whole clowder of felines desperately trying to escape from the bag, or should that be missing hold-all?)
GM likes control, and we've all seen how he responds to awkward questions.
