The legal case is the libel trial concerning Mr Amaral and the McCanns so I think it does come under Portugal's jurisdiction.

Stopping the sale of her book on Amazon. The mccanns via carter ruck did not inform her they were intending on doing this beforehand nor did they give any specific reason as to what they were objecting about. The mccanns via carter ruck just decided to contact Amazon behind her back so to speak, and said enough to scare Amazon to the hills and stopped selling her book. There was no court case nor did they give Pat a chance to defend herself before they went to Amazon which is totally wrong

That's right jd. Loss of business as a US based citizen, should surely mean going to court in the US where her loss of earnings is first recognized and where she made an arrangement with Amazon, or in the UK where the action first commenced. i.e., on Carter Ruck's door step.

Thank you for that. So Pat is admitting she wrote the Madeleine profile for money then because although Amazon stopped selling it she did manage to get it sold in other places.

Here we go again. No the profile was not written just to make money. If it was, it would have been at the same price as the McCann's book, a gushing £20. Instead, Pat made it available for roughly £2 and is probably using that money to bring them to justice and good for her.

of course she wrote for money, this her livelihood and what she does for a living. She is a criminal profiler! This does not mean she doesn't care about the subject she is writing about or is not interested, and not all jobs in the world are jobs we hate doing. I'd love to be a pop star and get paid just for singing to everyone, I'd do the same if someone decided to scare Amazon to stop selling my album for no just reason and not to even tell me. This is not how it works in life otherwise everyone will be doing it and they'd be utter chaos! Plus they re libelling her with no reason to why, you can't do this. Look at the extreme efforts the mccanns have gone to anyone who dispels their story
