Gerrys Chosen Pic No 1 "The Confuser", Maddie is two with short blond hair, rather than 4 with long brown hair.
To me, this is one of the most devastating witness statements against the McCanns and their group that we have been allowed to see and could leave no sensible reader in any doubt whatsoever that Gerry McCann was the ringleader in all of this and planned for his daughter to apparently be "abducted".
It can be seen that given this lady was right with the group immediately these event started to be played out the police spoke to her several times and were checking with her yet again on 26 July 2007 as British Police were preparing to bring sniffer dogs over to try and find Madeleine or her corpse, Gerry having been identified as a possible suspect in her homicide.
When there are such devastating statements like this now available to the public from the PJ files it really does beg the question, just why did Kate and Gerry choose to spend the remaining monies in Madeleine's Fund on massive legal costs, suing Goncalo Amaral. This statement clearly implies malice aforethought, Gerry has the photos to immediately hand to the police and all the group are singing from his hymn sheet, Maddie was abducted, none of them are bothering to look for her. They were even immediately ringing the media to drive home this message with a complete lack of concern to find Madeleine, who, as the deponent suggests could have been laying injured somewhere, maybe even just about to enter the sea. Surely a genuine parent would be frantic to be racing around seeking to stop her doing tha, clinging to any prospect at that stage of getting her straight back. But always with this couple there seems to have been a certainty this was a long-term matter, she was never going to come straight back. That attitude they were evidencing by their own conduct in the very first few moments.
But turning back to Mr Amaral and his book, he is not speaking about any premeditated act as this witness testimony suggests, he is speaking about an accidental death in the apartment. Something which I have always been clearly simply could not have happened. Could it be that the McCanns would rather the public believed this, than look at the terrible reality?
Even in the early stages I have always protested, well why keep going on about the dogs when there is far more devastating evidence against the McCanns, this is a real person stating precisely how they were behaving, not a dog, surely people should take more note and the terrible implications contained within in. Gerry the circusmaster leading his troops...Kate was not banging her fists on the walls, she was comatose on her bed and then wanted a priest, no doubt so fearful of what her husband had planned for little Maddie.
Gerry's chosen Pc No 2 "The bic bucks earner" Here Maddie is shown a little nearer her age and with long hair, but crucially for Gerry, she is wearing her Everton kit, a Club that produced an awful lot of money and publicity for him, no doubt also getting Beckham on board, top notch ! How many people worldwide are football/Beckham mad. Being such a sporting chap himself I suppose it was inevitable Gerry would see things that way. Kate's choice, go the literary way...JK Rowling.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Helpful Gerry supplied two copies of each of the above pictures to the police immediately.....sometimes people can be just too prepared for their own good. I think only a control freak would be so determined to make sure someone believed him, we still dont ~Gerry and never will! But will always feel for your victim, little Maddie McCann and her remaining siblings.

Statement taken by Paulo Ferreira, Inspector
Concerning the matter of the process, the witness said:
That she has given statements for several times within the process, and remembers the contents of what she stated before, therefore reproducing the contents of the previous statements into this statement.
The deponent offers another statement because with the passage of time, since Madeleine’s disappearance, she has remembered some details of the facts that she witnessed, which she considers of some interest to the investigation.
Like she said before, she was alerted to Madeleine’s disappearance between 10.30 and 11 p.m. She was at home and was informed about the event through a telephone call. She immediately went to the Ocean Club, where she arrived only minutes before the GNR officers. When she arrived at the resort, she went immediately to apartment 5A, where she met several persons both on the inside and on the outside of the apartment. She went into the apartment but left it right away without speaking to anyone, because she was informed that the GNR officers were at the main reception, so she went to meet them.
When she arrived near the GNR officers, she verified that Gerry, Madeleine’s father, was behind her, in the company of another individual whose identity she doesn’t remember. At that moment, Gerry placed both knees on the floor, hit the floor with both hands, too, placing himself like a praying Arab, and shouted out twice in rage, and it was not possible to understand what he said. Then Gerry got back on his feet and accompanied the deponent and the other individual who was in the GNR car, to apartment 5A.
Already on location, the deponent entered the apartment and asked those who were present both for the passports of all family members and photographs of the missing person. The deponent walked Gerry to the GNR car, so he could deliver the requested documents. She states that she carried out these diligences, and other diligences, at the request of the GNR Commander as they used the deponent’s knowledge of the English language to translate the questions that were asked from the missing person’s family members, and the answers that were given. She remembers that Gerry gave the GNR Commander several photographs of the missing person. These were postcard-type photographs, taking their size and shape into account. They were actually photographs of the size and shape of a postcard, and they seemed to be all similar to her.
She also realised that from the very first moment on, both Gerry and the rest of the group members insisted in stating that Madeleine had been abducted, all of them using the word “abducted” [original in English] instead of missing, and they all showed great interest in informing the press about the situation.
The deponent further recalls that she entered the room where Madeleine had been sleeping. She now remembers that the door was closed. The inside of the room was dark. The shutters were down, and light entered only through its holes. The windows were closed and the curtains slightly open. Gerry, who accompanied the deponent during this visit, with the GNR officers also present, said that it had been him who had closed the window because the babies were still sleeping inside, which the deponent could verify as true. Gerry mentioned that when he noticed that Madeleine was missing, he had found the window and shutters open, and the curtains fluttering.
The deponent recalls that the cots that were used by the babies were placed in the middle of the room and aligned, and therefore she found it strange that someone could have taken Madeleine from the bed where she was sleeping up to the window, because there was no space to get through. The deponent opened the bedroom’s wardrobe to check if eventually Madeleine was hiding inside. Then they all left the room, and someone closed its door again. The deponent remained in the living room for a while, with the GNR officers, Gerry and the other group members that were there in a frenzy, going in and out and speaking on their mobile phones. She noticed that none of the group members, including the child’s mother and father, were busy looking for her. The mother was sitting on the master bedroom’s bed, the father accompanied the deponent and the GNR officers and the other group members walked in and out and spoke on the phone, apparently concerned about informing the press about the event.
She thought that the child’s mother was downbeat with the situation, the father showed his concern and also asked both for the press to be alerted and for dogs to be brought in for the search. Concerning the others, she can only recall that Fiona and her husband, Payne, were hysterical about the situation. At a given moment, right after the PJ’s elements arrived, the child’s parents removed the twins from the cots where they still slept, and took them into the apartment on the first floor. At Kate’s request, the deponent removed the soft toys and a blanket from the cots, and also took them to the first floor. The babies’ cots were left only with the mattresses.
The deponent also wishes to mention that at around 3 a.m. Madeleine’s parents asked for the presence of a priest on location. They didn’t explain the reason why they wanted a priest, but the deponent found the fact strange as there were no indications that the little girl was dead, and that’s the circumstance under which usually the presence of a priest is requested.
At a given moment, the deponent translated the deposition from one of the ladies that belonged to the group of English people, namely one that she indicates as being a brunette. This lady told the GNR officers, and the deponent translated, that she had seen a man crossing the road, possibly carrying a child. The deponent found that situation strange because she was convinced that when she saw this man, the lady was positioned in a spot that has no viewing angle to the location where she had seen the man. She doesn’t know exactly where the lady was positioned when she saw the man passing by, but she knows that she indicated that she saw him passing on the street that lies in front of the window to the bedroom where Madeleine was, walking into the direction of the street that leads to the Baptista supermarket.
When questioned about the clothes that the English group members wore that night, she mentions that she only remembers that Fiona wore a green blouse, Gerry wore a dark coloured shirt, and Fiona’s husband wore light-coloured trousers, she thinks cream-coloured.
And she stated nothing further.

It was a long time after events that Fiona Payne told us about how Kate got those grab marks up her arms, she was beating the walls with her fists. Nonsense apart, who told her to plant this in the media?
Well I think it was the same old Puppet master McCann and what he cannot arrange personally there is always Motor mouth Mitchell.

Hi Viv,
The woman’s statement paints a very clear picture of what happened after the alarm was raised.
Gerry et al followed her to where the GNR officers were. He prostrates himself on the floor as if worshiping their arrival. This to me is certainly hamming it up with elements of sarcasm. No doubt because they took 30 minutes to arrive and narcistic Gerry, being the most important person on the planet, has surprisingly the presence of mind to be sarcastic to the people, who after all, he allegedly want to help him. Funny that.
Gerry tells everyone he closed the window in the children’s bedroom as the twins were still in the room and it was drafty. If I remember correctly only Kate’s finger prints were found – was Gerry wearing gloves – I think not – funny that.
When the woman arrived, apartment 5A was very busy with people talking on mobiles. No doubt talking to the press, friends, and relatives in a different country who were not in any position to help them. No one was out looking for the missing child which might have helped if she had wandered off or indeed had in fact been abducted. Funny that.
The woman then says the parents asked at 3.00am for the presence of a priest. In Catholicism, a priest is necessary when someone is dying or dead. Funny that.
To me this is all staging mixed with guilt and not funny at all.

Just a second thought about asking for the priest. To me this is an indicator, so early on, that they were not thinking about Madeleine and what had happened to her but themselves. Absolution of sins comes to mind - their actions appear to be those of people who already know what has befallen their daughter therefore their concerns centre around what will happen to them.

I think the police were anxious to check here that it is Gerry saying he closed the twins bedroom window because Kate has stated she did that.
So we have Gerry saying he did that but his fingerprints are not on it, these are just the sort of inconsistencies the police are referring to in suspecting him of the homicide of Madeleine or perhaps as we can see from the range of charges being considered, something even worse than that.
I think it is possible that Kate came back and did indeed find the window open although much more likely she herself was also involved in the removal of Madeleine much earlier on.
The police also found latex medical gloves in the McCanns possession, again, just like those two sets of old photos of Madeleine, I can only think of a very sinister reason for Gerry to pack those.
I think perhaps he was smart enough to open the window with his gloves on to leave no prints (although query whether Wilkins stopped him doing this - Gerry said he had never seen anyone there before so clearly did not plan to that night) but when it came to actually wanting his prints on the inside of the window to fit with him stating he closed it again (but fatally clashing with what Kate says), he was not so clever.
All the way through this we can see that Gerry has been manipulative, scheming and often clever, but has often made some catastrophic errors of judgment also. He finds it difficult to judge the reactions of normal people because he is not one himself. Also he is clumsy due to his own inflated sense of infallibility, only now, I imagine beginning to realise no one, let alone him, actually in infallible.

In relation to the priest, I think this was one occasion when Kate was just not going to be silenced by Gerry and was adamant that was what she needed to comfort her. She knew that Maddie was either dead or almost certainly would be very soon.
I gather from what I have read this is when she did get a bit loud and stroppy and Kate's mother also mentioned her requesting one, no doubt Kate's mother has her own very good reasons for dropping that out. I doubt it is to do with putting Kate in the frame.

or maybe Kate was tormented by the thought of Maddie being handed over to more of what she knew her husband and Gerry are, paedophiles.
Is she just being smart writing in her diary how they make her skin crawl? Why was she so certain in her diary that was what was happening to Maddie given her denials now, a staggering four years down the line?

Alas, this is proof that the universally recognised Masonic plea, is not always recognised. It is a jolly good job that the McCanns had the Embassy falling over themselves to rectify the situation.

Funny also, that the only hysterical people were the Paynes.....

Re: GERRY IMMEDIATELY PRODUCED TWO SETS OF OLD PHOTOS OF MADELEINE
Ah! The photograph which was printed onto paper which could not be identified as coming from the Ocean Club, and printed on a machine which belonged to a nanny whose boyfriend took it out of the country, only to have it stolen at a later date. Most extraordinary that so many telephones, computers and other electrical gadgets have so mysteriously disappeared.
How much use would such an old photograph have been? Why did the McCanns not hand over the camera which had allegedly taken the ''last photograph''? Why was the last photograph not flourished before us any earlier.
The DNA and photographs seem to be a terrific stumbling block for the McCanns. Three weeks to give us an up to date picture of Madeleine and a trip home for the collection of DNA which should have been found all oer the apartment, Madeleine's bedding and her clothing.
Does Team McCann think we have just arrived from another planet?

Ah! But we have to remember that the McCanns seem to believe that whomever abducted Madeleine is not harming her at all, and that Madeleine is indeed most likely giving her tuppenceworth to anybody who is holding her against her will. This is a robustly healthy child who has a mind of her own, BLACK CAT and who enjoed playing a game of monsters. Allegedly.
So therefore, one would very much doubt that McCann was trying to show his daughter with different facial expressions. It would be extremely unlikely for any parent involved in an abduction scenario to sit and be so calculating in their thoughts. However, McCann may very well try to use this excuse now that you have mentioned it.
One can almost hear Mitchell or Edgar repeating you right now, BLACKCAT, so please stop giving them any more ideas
