The tide is turning Mr Bennett
I just HAVE to congratulate Mr Bennett
The tide is turning at the Missing Madeleine forum - the very forum where Debbie Butler and the admin, Ambersuz, tried to trash you. You are now being considered a hero for putting your head above the parapet to do something productive for Madeleine McCann.

Hmm. Last time I was there you were at great risk of being hit with the banning stick if you posted favourable comments about him.

Even though the MM is rid of ambersuz, Debbie Butler and other trouble-makers, have to say I share your cynicism and doubt the forum will ever recover from what went on a year or so back As far as I am aware, the MM has never apologised to those who were banned because they were supportive of Tony and the MF and, tbh, I have little interest in what goes on there. With the exception of a few good posters, the MM is dead on it's feet. Those on MM who were only too willing to believe the lies they were fed by Admin should reflect on the time Tony has had to spend dealing with the incessant abuse posted on their forum, time that could have been better spent on his work with the MF.
Nonetheless, it is a welcome change for the better to see favourable comments about the MF and hope the Admin of MCF take note

Re: The tide is turning Mr Bennett
No, ambersuz owns the forum but handed over the reigns to antoinette and neither of them seem to be active there anymore.
I don't think that forum is dead on its feet though - they have a lot of readers. But like Autumn said no one apologised to Tony or anyone else they banned and AnnaEsse said she wasn't even aware of the trashing of TB saying it was probably nothing more than healthy debate . How can a moderator not be aware of the vile things that were going on? Well, that 'healthy debate' was extremely violent and cruel and was done by Debbie Butler and backed up by Ambersuz and Bren and many other people. Those who took part should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves not least because, as autumn says, it diverted TB from his MF work to deal with it. I am very glad that TB seems to be getting his reputation and support back after it was so cruelly bashed by the vicious fishwives on the MM forum.

The tide is turning, and it will end with the McCanns facing justice. And this forum is growing nicely at the same time. If only Midas would do as I and others have done and come over here.......just hoping

Perhaps someone here who is either a member of MM or MCF, where I believe Midas posts, could drop him/her a pm and ask that s/he come and join us?

Midas on here? We must resist this
Well, I am neither a member of MM nor MCF, but after seeing what 'bonnybraes' of JATYK has written today about 'Midas', no way should s/he be allowed to join this forum.Autumn wrote:Perhaps someone here who is either a member of MM or MCF, where I believe Midas posts, could drop him/her a pm and ask that s/he come and join us?
Just look at these words from 'bonnybraes', and then shudder at the thought of 'Midas' joining us here:
QUOTE bonnybraes:
Aha! I think I have worked it out, Tony! She isn't a Houndation spy in the heart of Team McCann, no sirree! She is actually on excellent terms with Brian Kennedy and is telling him all about Bennett's plans, whilst making the Houndation look as stupid as possible.

Re: The tide is turning Mr Bennett
Having read a number of Midas' recent postings, one would suggest that bonnybraes is talking through her hat. One would quite relish the prospect of having Midas onboard here. Would Kennedy seriously ask Midas to make mention of the Gaspars statements on such a regular basis? Tony Bennett does not discuss his plans with anybody outside of The Foundation, therefore one would suspect that this is puerile mischief-making by the abduction theorists.
It is quite extraordinary that Kennedy's name has appeared again, after what seems to have been a rather long time. Does he still support the McCanns with the same philanthropic fervour as yesteryear? Perhaps this is a timely reminder to go back through some of the hiring and firing of ex-police officers, Metodo 3 and Halligen et al.

@ Tony Bennett.
Reading through the thread below, it appears that Midas is definitely not in the pay of Team McCann. If she is, they should most certainly ask for their money back.
By the way, have Team McCann made any moves towards finding out what really happened to the 500K that was paid to Halligen?

Midas at her/his brilliant best
Well, 'Midas' is the subject of much conversation around the internet this evening.Clouseau wrote:All I can say for what it's worth is I have known Midas from the early days. albeit this poster used a different username...and this poster would be quite a scoop if this poster came here...I know I don't post much but always looking in...tx to you all
One of the places that is interested in 'Midas' is a notorious McCann-believer site called 'PFA2'.
For some reason, they have elected to reproduce one of 'Midas's finest-ever posts (IMHO). The exchange between us was apparently on 5 September 2009, shortly after the demise of 3As and at a time when posters were flocking from there to MM, where this exchnage took place. It was about 7 weeks before I received my Butler-inspired marching orders from MM.
As can be seen, I was reminding a poster called 'Beverly' about the mysterious lack of any DNA of Madeleine in Apartment G5A in Praia da Luz (being discussed on another thread here).
Here is the exchange in full. Like us all, 'Midas' has ups and downs, brilliant posts, and others, well, less brilliant.
Here s/he is, however, at the very top of her/his game:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
September 5th, 2009 at 6:52 am
Reply from Tony Bennett to Beverly at 15. "Not sure about the first point. Dr Gerald McCann did return to England for two days, around three weeks after Madeleine ‘disappeared’. One reason was to collect some of Madeleine’s DNA; one of the truly extraordinary features of this case is that the police were not able to find even a trace of Madeleine’s DNA in her parents’ apartment. Why not?”
***********************************************************************************
Dear Mr. Bennett,
If you would allow me to make a suggestion here. I say this only as a possibility not necessarily a probability. The reason as to why there may not be any of Madeleine’s fingerprints or anybody else’s fingerprints, (except one partial set of Kate McCann’s in an upward movement on one particular area) and the complete lack of Madeleine’s DNA anywhere in the apartment or even on any of the windows and especially the patio doors where one would expect many, many fingerprints from children, is because that I believe that whenever people connected to governmental agencies are sent somewhere on a mission ‘to clean up’, they take something along with them that is rather similar to an H2O mop. (Please see your shopping channels on television.)
It’s not so small that you could hide it in something like a tennis bag, as one of the holiday-makers would say - but it is a small-ish item and very light and easy to use.
With just one sweep of the mop you can remove stains and kill germs. It will remove candle-wax from delicate old lace table-cloths and silk carpets. It even takes blood out of pillows.
I know this because I regularly use one myself on the recommendation of my local butcher who swears by it and uses it on his working surfaces and refrigerators. The local hygiene inspectors are usually in and out of his shop within only a few moments and he’s never yet been asked to replace even one tile.
This equipment needs no chemicals or bleach and it’s bone-dry to the touch in seconds. The steaming water gets rid of everything. You could could even take your own skin off layer by layer, right down to the bone. The only problem I have ever found is that it’s very difficult to take some stains out of stone, glazed tiles and mortar. In those areas it may even fasten-in that very stain you are trying to remove.
Porous paints such as silk vinyl and emulsion or upholstery fabrics need to be done two or three times ideally. It’s great in areas where there is a likelihood of pin-mould problems, which is great for asthmatics. It is obviously not recommended for use on stained wall-paper because it will strip the wall in seconds and you will see the paper disintegrate before your eyes.
If you were to use something similar to an H2O mop, your room would be left sweet-smelling and fresh and there would no longer be overpowering smells like those of a cadaver odour. Only highly-trained dogs would still be able to smell something like that. You would just think that you had walked into one of the cleanest rooms ever. So clean. Your windows would sparkle. It would be as if nobody had ever been in your house.
May I just point out that if one were to use this inside a car to mop up something like a McDonald’s milk-shake, please remember to leave all the doors and windows open for a good while, to ensure that you don’t get condensation in your electrics. Especially if you were to use the steamer in your car-boot, because it can short your brake-lights - which would be an absolute nuisance if you were just minding your own business and dawdling around in a Parisian under-pass one night whilst VIPs were travelling behind you.
In those circumstances you could cause a disaster. As in, ‘It’s a disaster! There’s been a disaster...’
With steam-cleaning, you will never need chemicals again. No more chemicals cluttering up your cupboards...or any chemicals getting up your nose.

Would somebody please hurry this poster and tell them one would like a word. She seems to have found the most perfect Christmas gift for the wife.
One dare not speak of the tantrums which go on in this house over a few muddy pawprints. However, this mop seems like the answer to many prayers, and an ideal gift for somebody who refuses to use a mop and bucket. As you may have guessed, the wife never did a day in the Wrens.

No diatom test was done.
Do you know, Michael Barrymore's manager Mike Brown may have had just the same piece of equipment.Judge Mental wrote:Would somebody please hurry this poster and tell them one would like a word. She seems to have found the most perfect Christmas gift for the wife.

For we can be reasonably sure that Stuart Lubbock was killed by those at the so-called Barrymore 'party' at between 4.15am and 4.30am on the morning of Saturday 1 April 2001.
It wasn't until 5.46am that the ambulance service were called, by which time Stuart and the area where he was killed was cleaned up.
Why was it thought that he drowned?
Well, simple. To perpetrate the drowning hoax, he was laid out by the side of the pool, water was stuffed down his throat, and a bucket or two of water thrown over him just as the ambulance men were called.
The electric cover of the swimming pool was only opened IMO after Stuart Lubbock was dead.
One simple test would have established whether or not Stuart had ever been in that swimming pool.
A diatom test.
The police never did it.
Barrymore and his manager had a number of high-placed friends in Essex Police.
The police managed to 'lose' the poolside thermometer and, unbelievably, allowed Barrymore's manager to come in and out of the crime scene over the weekend. The police even relied on his statement of the temperature of the swimming pool.
No doubt at all there was a swift and effective clean-up operation in full swing before they were ready to call the ambulance.
One does indeed wonder, along with 'Midas', whether such an operation proved necessary in G5A.

Re: The tide is turning Mr Bennett
It may be because it is late and the gout is throbbing, but there seem to be some cryptic messages in Midas' posts, which do not seem at all favourable to the abduction theory.
Why would the abduction theorists conceive that this poster would be anything other than somebody who wishes Madeleine's case to be solved? One notes that she is certainly somebody who wishes the PJ to have absolute control of the investigations, and one tends to very much agree with her on this issue.
