I agree that no parent believing their child has been abducted by a paedophile would feel relieved after the first 48 hours (they justified it with the fact no corpse had been found) and start giving interviews, photoshooting, meeting lots of VIP people in lots of countries, etc. On the contrary, after that time, every minute should be a moment of anguish. Hence from the third day on, the MC narrative looked suspicious.

But my question was : what is it about M's death that makes people want justice for M (in the hypothesis that she died accidentally) ?

There may be large numbers of missing children each year. In the vast majority of cases I presume there will have been 'zero' media attention. And/or there were no 'unusual' circumstances.

In MMC case, there has been almost the exact opposite of zero media attention. There has been high level media discussion/presence from day 1 and this appears to have been generated and driven by the McCann team. And, from day 1, the narrative focused on abduction and all other possibilities were marginalized and 'demonized' - for no apparent logical reason. Occam's razor stuff.

And things just looked odd, unusual, suspicious. People's behaviour, media campaigns, visits to the Pope etc. It was almost like a real-life Agatha Christie whodunnit. Maybe with some tangential similarities to 'The Mysterious Affair at Styles'.

And - then when high level UK spokespeople are flown in to manage the story - many folk wondered why? Also police are only willing to investigate the case from an abduction hypothesis perspective - odd!

And, whatever, we are here many years later because we want to be present at the denouement explained by M Poirot/Amaral.

2] media bitches

Yes, almost impossible to believe the lack of mainstream media interest. However, I did watch a video about super injunctions and that was very scary. You can get an injunction to stop people reporting on a person/case/thing and this is then covered by a second injunction forbidding anyone from knowing that the first injunction is in place.

3] why all the high level political/intelligence/law enforcement presence and agenda driving from day 1?

Maybe I am missing something obvious but it sort of perplexes me in a worrying sort of a way. Another part of the whodunnit.

The timeline is not the issue in my opinion, it could only prove that the McCann's lied and covered up Madeleine's disappearance, we already know that much.

The issue is to prove M didn't see the sun rise on May 3, not to be convinced of it. The major point is that none of the group, on the beach, saw M sailing. Cat N took one year to remember M crying etc., lol ! And she was rogatory interviewed because the MCs requested it (she wasn't not on the PJ list). Questions :

Did you feel Madeleine was unhappy or upset during her holiday?
Did Madeleine mention anything to you about crying and her parents not being there?
Did Madeleine mention seeing any adults around the apartments?
How do you (describe) Kate or Gerald's behaviour was when dropping off Madeleine or picking her up from the kids club?
How do you think the interaction between Madeleine and her parents was?
All questions suggesting a special tie had been wowen in 4 days between the nanny and M !

Nice to see Peter Mac being quoted in this video regarding the window.
It does make me wonder whether most people who are aware of the case, but don’t know the facts and evidence, have been hoodwinked, even after all these years, into believing the window played a part in the ‘escape route or entry point’ of the pseudo-abductor.
If the mainstream covered just one of these points I think the public outcry would be huge.

I would believe Luisa C before any of the tapas lot, however I'm not so sure it was Madeleine she saw with Russell.
She also said in her statement, 2 parents would go to the apartments to see if everything was ok.
How did she know that unless someone told her, she finished work at 7pm so she wouldn't have seen what was going on in the tapas bar.

Irwin was booked into the tapas restaurant at the same time as the McCann's.
The McCann's and tapas lot were always on table 911, Irwin was on table 204, but the tapas booking sheet made it look like they were sat with the McCann and tapas lot.

I think Jane said something when she got back from her check to make both Matt and Russ go together and stop Kate from doing her check at that point.
Gerry said when he saw Madeleine, cuddle cat was at the top of the bed where it was when they left.
The whole point of a cuddle cat or any other comforter, is to comfort, no way would Madeleine not be cuddling cuddle cat.
My Grandchildren had a small muslin towel and when they were tired, they would hold the towel to their face, suck their dummies and go to sleep.
It was very important to them and they wouldn't rest without it.
I'm guessing it was the same with Madeleine and her cuddle cat.
I notice no comforter was ever mentioned in relation to the twins.
The timings PeterMac gave in the video as to how long it took to get to 5a, show there is no way they did the checks in the time frame they say they did.
If it took a minute to get to the patio doors and 2 minutes to get to the front door of 5a, it must be going on 3minutes to get to 5d and that's just one way.

5D door is closer than 5A door to the inclined plane leading from the car park to the corridor.

But they were checking on 5a, albeit just listening at the window until the 9-30 check.
So they would have to walk to 5a then retrace their steps to their own apartments, even if they did the check on the way back.
So 2minutes to the front door of 5a, bar a few steps , then on to their own windows.
Not much time difference, certainly not as quick as they made out.

I coped with the distorted faces of the adults but found the shots of the children very suspect in particular the one of Madeleine where she is touching her hair and her hands and fingernails are clearly those of an adult with long manicured nails triggering me to think of the make up photograph et all and I wondered if this was intentional.
Quite shocking.
