Interesting. I had more or less concluded that the photo was fake/manipulated.Jill Havern wrote:

I'm thinking of buying the book, but wondering when I'll have time to read it.
What was the Mirage?

Blood on the car key? I didn't realise this before. I can understand cadaver odour on the key but blood? unless it was dried blood from carrying her into or out of the car.

it was first seen (and only, as far as I am aware) on the video which was made by Jon Corner, friend of the McCanns and Godfather to the twins about three years after madeleine disappeared.Honesty wrote:From who was the makeup photo obtained?

The blood was analysed, it was G's.sharonl wrote:Seems that there was another couple who owned a property near the Mirage at the back of the complex. He seems to think that this is where the make up photo was taken.

But the car key could also have smelt cadaver scent from having been in K's check pants' pocket or G's beige trousers' one.

Just been reading a thread about the make-up photo where you utterly refute he idea of paedophilia!crusader wrote:I'm surprised the FD thinks the makeup photo was taken in Praia da Luz and by all accounts, the owners of the villa must be known to the McCanns.

Another topic that Verdi attempted to steer away discussion.

My views on The Sudden Impulse so far…
I was tempted to go straight to the last section but refrained. I’m reading every word, starting at the very beginning.
I’m about a fifth of the way thru and believe it really is worth reading it cover to cover. There is meaning in everything he chooses to do. The explanation of the front cover is poignant and beautiful. The dedications are moving.
So onto the first section. As we know the Tapas9 statements are crazy and it’s easy to understand why they refused a reenactment, it simply wouldn’t be possible. As we also know the statements were forever changing. Stellander has undertaken to look at each of the statements of the key players and to explore each permutation of the variations. Thus concluding where each route ends and as you can imagine the number of routes are endless. That is one brave man! He is speaking to you, the reader and apologises for how trawling a read it is but encourages you to continue. Indeed he makes it a surprisingly enjoyable read. I am only on that first section, he is just bringing the checking system to a close so I can only share my views up to this point.

That’s helpful. I have emailed Bertrand about introducing an English interface at check out on their site as I think it would increase their sales. They say they have passed it on to the relevant department. Could mean nothing, everything or something in between. I understand others have too

Re: Norwegian ex-military detective claims to have solved Madeleine case
Thank you Peter Mac I will give it a try. I have tried so many times now and had help with things like how to fill in the telephone number, then there was the Nif number so this morning got past that and cheered but then I was asked to choose between two delivery providers each with a huge charge and I cannot get past that page. I will try your link but I fear it is just not meant to be. I can understand the most difficult knitting pattern but ordering this book has beaten me.
