The Gift of Life: The gift that just keeps giving

This thread is inspired by the recently departed forum member and active campaigner for justice in the name of Madeleine McCann - Helen 'Hentie' Williamson 
.
Her courage through long illness that eventually took her to another world, a world of peace and harmony, safe from the trials and tribulations of earthly living and her family's courage and love that shines through even after Hentie's death.
In this world of uncertainty, particularly the past 18 months, Hentie and her family restore faith in human nature, they show all is not lost and with a united force we can move towards a new world, a new life. Not as prothesized but with faith, love and harmony.

A sort of escapism, away from the gloom and doom for a few moments, let's have a corner on the forum for heart felt stories to lift the spirit and keep that faith in the milk of human kindness.
Tell us all about your personal experiences, your family, your friends, your neighbour, even something you've read or something you've seen. Anything to improve humour and bring a little smile back into our lives.
Do please contribute. Keep it up top to supress the depressing reality of the decade.
