This Mr Christian B. incarcerated is a German Prison and unable to defend himself is just the Patsy which Operation Grange has been praying for.
What's the betting we soon hear that Mr Christian B. suddenly Hangs himself in Prison and Operation Grange can pack up its Sherlock Holmes Magnifying Glasses and claim to have made good use of the $12,000,000 taken from the British Taxpayers; when in fact they have given the McCanns' their ultimate "Get Out of Jail" Card. Wasn't that the intention all along?

@ Tony Bennett
Morning Tony, My post I think is perhaps confusing.
First part of my comment was a quote from another post. Not my words. I now see there is a quote button. I won't use it on this post as I may not use it correctly. I'll try it out later. Don't want to further confuse.
The second part is in response to the alleged checking system. That had it been in place, then it FAILED! And whatever happened to this little girl - her parents then, and since have refused to own it!
I don't believe based on the statements given by the group of parents that there was any checking system on that night or any other.
There was however movement by members of the group on a least that night as witnesses have stated.
Question is - Why that movement?
If it was not to check on children -What were the individuals who left the table at various intervals, doing? What was the purpose? Where did they go?

RE Isabelle McFadden interview.
Interviewer made very interesting and valid point.
If Brueckner to be charged with the disappearance/murder Madeleine -
Are they able to place him at the apartment in the narrow time frame that has always been claimed as being when Madeleine was taken from the apartment? How did he enter the apartment, window/door? Did the leave by same route? etc etc
How does Brueckner's movements tie in (time wise) with Tanner's/Gerry's/Oldfield's/O'Brien's/the man Tanner saw (the dark looking swarthy male carrying a child - so two males walking around carrying a child?) /Smith family/Jez and Kate McCann of course, and anyone else who may have been around?
The swarthy male, was he ever found/or did he come forward? If so, did he see anyone else? Sounds to me that the alleged quiet street was buzzing with people movement and activity.
Charging Brueckner trying to pin Madeleine's disappearance/murder on him, going to pose lot problems for the police. How he managed it without being seen by all aforementioned?
Interviewer is correct - How does it all tie in? Can't just say Brueckner did it, and not explain how he pulled it off!

There is no hope.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Christian Hoppe, from Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), has said that German police have not ruled out a sexual motive for the alleged crime against Madeleine.
He said that the suspect may have broken into an apartment in the Ocean Club complex, where Madeleine was on holiday with her parents and her twin siblings Sean and Amelie, before spontaneously kidnapping her.
BROKEN IN as in smashed, forced, broken and jemmied shutters
or perhaps kicked the front door in, or forced the lock on the patio door?

For those who are getting confused . . .

So he was in Alcossebre three weeks after 3/5/7, and then . . .
Suddenly reappears in a 'remote Portuguese village' to terrorise 32 year oldMarjorie Angela Dawes
by working as a waiter.
But she 'escaped his clutches', which seem to have amounted to
“He wasn’t very talkative — just, ‘Hello’ and ‘How are you?’
I hope that makes it clear

I don't believe based on the statements given by the group of parents that there was any checking system on that night or any other.
There was however movement by members of the group on a least that night as witnesses have stated.
Question is - Why that movement?
If it was not to check on children -What were the individuals who left the table at various intervals, doing? What was the purpose? Where did they go?
I believe one purpose of the 'checking regime' (which I think happened only on the Thursday might) was simply a charade to, as it were, 'prove' that they were dong a checking system.
IIRC the ones that left the table from 8.30pm onwards, in order, were: Gerry McCann, Jane Tanner, Russell O'Brien, Matthew Oldfield and finally Kate McCann.
I don't think that all 9 of them sat down at the table at 8.30pm/8.45pm. One of them must have been looking after all the children in one room (per Rebelo's evidence). Possibly Russell O'Brien. There was a rather strange story about one of the Tapas 7 going to look for the Paynes because they were late. I can't remember who it was. Was it Jane Tanner? I personally doubt that account. That person (if it was Jane Tanner) may have left the Tapas restaurant for a short while, but probably NOT for the reason stated.
The men may have been making last-minute arrangements to rearrange the children's room in G5A, open the shutters and windows etc., moving the beds/cots etc., while there were no children in the room.
I believe Jane Tanner and one other moved the twins from the room where all the children were sleeping into the McCanns' apartment, ready for Kate to sound the alarm at about 10pm. I think this happened between 9.30pm and 10.00pm.
IIRC there was what seemed to a reliable report of two women being seen on the balcony of G5A somewhere approaching 10pm. I think this may have been Kate and Jane.
Around the same time there was a loud scream reported by one witness.
All IMO, just doing my best to interpret what really happened, amidst a thick cloud of lies

Who is 'poor old Trace?'
Thank you
Old friend of Kate McCann.
Believed to live in the same village, Rothley.
Goes regularly to the same work-out gym as Kate McCann.
In 2007 Clarence Mitchell used to visit her regularly and would have 'afternoon tea' with her.
There is a thread about her somewhere on the forum

Hi, Just seen in the Daily Mail a picture of a tan house in Foral (used by the latest suspect) and it reminded me of the balcony picture of Madeleine with blue eye shadow, the one on the forum in the left hand corner! Is there any connection? The colour of the building is similar.
Also randomly the e fit of the Victoria Beckham character reminds me of Ghislaine Maxwell!

German police are reported to be desperate for that ‘final nugget’ of information that will nail their suspect Christian Brueckner for involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
If it doesn’t come by Monday, chances are the 43-year-old with a string of convictions for drug-trafficking, thefts, rape and child abuse could be released from jail.
Says Correio da Manhã: “German authorities fear he could flee again, at a time when there is not sufficient evidence to charge him with kidnapping the English child.
“And they fear that freeing him could put other children in danger, now that Madeleine may not have been the only victim of this predator”.
The wealth of information coming out about Brueckner in the press over the last few days has been quite remarkable.
His name is being linked to at least other two long-running ‘child disappearances’, one dating back to 1996 from a beach in Aljezur (when Brueckner would have been only 18 and recently arrived in the Algarve).
The German has been accredited with 17 previous convictions for a gamut of crimes, including rape and child abuse.
Today Portuguese media reveals Brueckner served two prison terms in Portugal: the first for petty theft in 1999, which saw him jailed for two months in Évora; the second in 2006, again for theft – this time of fuel – which he served in Portimão.
Writes Expresso: “For almost all his life Christian Brueckner has been the target of accusations and condemnations”.
Yesterday media reports released the name ‘Diogo Silva’ as the ‘contact’ Brueckner was talking to for over half an hour on the night Madeleine went missing.
Diogo Silva appears to have ended up being the ‘new’ holder of one of the mobile phone numbers released by police in their appeal for information – a man with no connection to the case whatsoever, writes Correio da Manhã.
Now, the ‘key’ witness who ‘could’ throw some light on the situation – and ‘might’ provide that vital piece of information that police so badly need – is a former Kosovan girlfriend of Brueckner, who is described as having been a minor in 2006 when she was living with him in a remote spot near Praia da Luz.
In the meantime, the appeal released by British and German police on Wednesday has apparently resulted in hundreds of phone calls.
The idea for it came from the Germans, said a source for the Portuguese PJ – presumably because they can see Brueckner’s situation in jail likely to change ‘at any minute’. He is about to reach the point where he has served 2/3 of his current sentence, and by law this means he could be released.
Brueckner also faces an eight-year term for a rape committed in Praia da Luz in 2005 – but he is said to be challenging the legality of the extradition that went ahead to get him from Italy to Germany to face trial.
This is actually the second time in little over a year that the name of a German man already in jail has been linked to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Last May, the media furore focused on child-murderer Martin Ney.
Ney – serving a 27-year-sentence for the murder of three boys – was also cited for having a possible involvement in the disappearance of the child from the beach in Aljezur [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
But after a flurry of press speculation – and what at least one paper insisted was ‘vital new evidence’ – the lead went cold.

At last a journalist who understands the intricacies of the EAW which they used to get him from Italy to Germany for an offence in Portugal.
We saw it with the schoolteacher who went to France with his 15 yr old pupil.
They wanted to extradite him for Unlawful Intercourse, but in France the age is, or was 15, so they had to get him for "Abduction".
Then when he was safely back in England they aded the USI charge. Which is VERY sneaky and only bordeline legal.

Charlotte Pennington once said the twins were not in the room at 22.05 I believe. Likely IMO to be a truth she snuck out among her lies.
The Alarm was raised closer to 21.30 according to most of the non McCann linked witnesses - why the Tapas lot say 22.00 is rather odd and points to something going wrong on the night in terms of setting the stage.

I feel the same way, Verdi. This McCann saga is like looking for the answer to a puzzle when we already know the answer. The only question for me, now, is, how did they do it? If there IS a "suspect" - whether it's some criminal who is locked up in a German Jail, or a two-headed person living in some isolated cabin on the moon - then he/she/it is part of the bigger plot.Verdi wrote:SUSPECT BOMBSHELL

I don't think that you can rely on any accounts of the exact time. The only certainty is that the PJ weren't called until nearly 11:00. [22.50 pm - First call to GNR Lagos precinct (Guarda Nacional Republicana, rural police in Lagos, reporting a missing child and asking for Police help)]. It seems stretching it a bit that the OC would have left it so long if the alarm was indeed raised at 9:30?Eastree27 wrote:Charlotte Pennington once said the twins were not in the room at 22.05 I believe. Can I go back to an earlier post I made? > On the very first post in this thread there is mention that OG were looking at CB and "and a second, perhaps lesser, undisclosed theory which is said to be the subject of a delicate operation overseas".
Does anyone have any idea about this "delicate operation overseas" that OG mentions. It's obviously not directly connected to this current side-show around CB.

Re: The latest McCann suspect: Scotland Yard has revealed vital new information about a suspect wanted in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
I think that the OC management may have been informed later than Team Mc are making out. They like to say it took the PJ 55 mins to respond, but that's horse s**t. The trick is to understand the chain of who informed who first. I can't establish whether it was Amy T that was told first or Lindsay J. Or which guest informed them. Either way the management may not have been contacted until 10:20:Eastree27 wrote:True but even 50 mins is quite a long time not to phone them thinking back.crispbee2000 wrote:I don't think that you can rely on any accounts of the exact time. The Alarm was raised closer to 21.30 according to most of the non McCann linked witnesses - why the Tapas lot say 22.00 is rather odd and points to something going wrong on the night in terms of setting the stage.
If one or two said 21.30 then they could be confused but hardly anyone non Tapas says 22.00
[Amy, Charlotte and Jacky were working in the evening drop in creche when they were alerted by a guest that there was a child missing - this was given as at about 10.05pm by Jacky and about 10.15pm by Charlotte the Fairy. Interestingly, both Jacky and Charlotte state that the three of them confirmed that it was Madeleine by phoning a colleague for confirmation of who the missing child was - Charlotte specifying that 'Amy contacted via telephone her supervisor, Lyndsay, who informed her that Madeleine had indeed disappeared'. And yet, Lindsay says that, 'at around 10.20pm, she was informed by her colleague Amy T. that Madeleine McCann had disappeared. At that, she immediately launched the "missing child" procedure'. ]

IIRC the ones that left the table from 8.30pm onwards, in order, were: Gerry McCann, Jane Tanner, Russell O'Brien, Matthew Oldfield and finally Kate McCann.
This a graphic of the movements between 9.05pm and 9.55pm
ACCORDING TO THEM !
They are not in order to avoid the lines crossing, but the order is shown in Blue
9 movements between 9.05 and 9.55
Tapas to 5A patio door 1:30s
Tapas to 5A front door = 2 minutes
Tapas to 5C and 5D, opening locked door, checking children, and return ? Probably closer to 10 minutes than to 5
Credible ?
Or a ghastly mess because no one worked it out on a bit of paper ripped out of a Sticker Book ?

If they had DNA evidence or a confession he would not be let out.
The explanation about how a strand of his hair was in the rape victims home makes me think that he would not confess to anything to do with Maddie and without that they have nothing.
Yep Peter Mac's posts on this thread are imo spot on. Explanations about how often they were checking etc. etc. would all come out and no doubt any defence lawyer would read the book and possibly lots of questions to come from that.
The Appeal Court Judges ruling too - they must have read the police files to come to their judgement. Would they have come to that judgement if they thought the investigation had been suspect or flawed?
What I still would like to know is why, given that they had money to go on holiday and play tennis lessons, money to eat out every night and buy drinks. Why use money from your missing daughter's Fund money to pay their mortgage. A daughter who quite possibly could have been in the hands of someone like this German criminal.
No didn't like it then and still don't.

Just heard Jim Gamble implying the disturbed burglary led to him committing pedophilia as a plausible theory. Really - is that so the negligent parenting can be excused even further.
