The McCanns have courted the media for their own agenda for 8 years now. It's perfectly accetable that a journalist tries to contact them to ask questions which are in the public's interest - money donated to them by the public. If phoning, writing letters or emailing doesn't avail any answers then knocking on the door seems the next logical step. Brenda Leyland wasn't telephoned or emailed by Martin Brunt or Sky or The McCann PR team. She was purposely doorstepped (ambushed) to try and publicly humiliate her and so send out a warning shot to other people online who do not agree with the McCann's version of events. As we now know, this stunt backfired massively for the McCanns and their team of protectors and it's the reason why people will still keep enquiring until the McCanns agree to answer all the questions asked of them and/or do a reconstruction in Portugal.

I'm curious about some things, did you wait until the children were out of the house before confronting their mother? Also, what on earth did you hope to achieve other than intimidation and a half minute of film? Did you for one moment think that after scores of police officers and journalists world wide had questioned them that she would say "Come in Sonia, I'll put the kettle on and don't look at that neon box where we've hidden all our secrets for 8 years."? f I was an innocent parent I would answer every question going to anyone who asked. If people were suspicious of me I would move heaven and hell to remove that suspicion by answering every question asked.

I don't think she should have doorstepped the McCanns ( that is if the McCanns didn't know she was going to do this ) but seeing as she did I hope she asked more pertinent questions than the one just shown. Kate McCann had a legal right not to reply  so I assume that will be her answer. Or maybe " piss off".

Questions I would like to have answered would be.

Why did Gerry change his statement regarding which door he used on the 3rd May 2007 was it the front locked door using his key as did his wife or the unlocked patio door as did his wife?

Why do the McCanns when being interviewed imply they and the so called tapas 7 buddies had a COLLECTIVE system for checking all their children, when they all checked on their OWN children only.

Why is there 3 different accounts of how Kate noticed the window and shutters open.
1 she noticed immediately
2 she ran over and opened the curtains
3 they whooshed open

Why did they tell their family and friends the shutters were jemmied , broken or smashed.

Why does Gerry insist the shutters could be opened from outside but fails to mention they do not stay open if you let go of them.
when asked if the shutters were locked he said he didn't know, he assumed they could not be opened from the outside, that takes the "we didn't have an inkling of any dangers" right out the window.

What was the reason for leaving the apartment unlocked ?

If there were buggies available to borrow from Mark Warner why did they not borrow one from the beginning of the holiday and dine with their kids.

How many pairs of pyjamas did the kids take on holiday.
We have the abducted ones, the unwashed ones thrown into the  back of their rental car and the clean pair laid out on what would have been Madeleine's bed in the Villa. 3 each? ( on a one week holiday ) Kinda makes you wonder what the rush was, to wash the tea stained ones  and why would you wash a pyjama top and not the rest of the dirty washing that was photographed in the wardrobe. 1 pair then?

Why did they leave their other 2 kids in the care of nannies the very day after Madeleine going missing. ( surely the first suspects would be the people who were around those kids all week )

Why do they insist that they were using their own listening service that other holiday companies have but theirs were better as they were actually VISUALLY checking when they only did ONE visual check and that was on the night of the abduction

Why did they tell all and sundry that they were leaving their kids alone at night

Why are they still suing Goncalo Amaral when his book has clearly NOT damaged the search for Madeleine.

What proof is there of an abduction other than THEIR 'say so'?

WHY did they on the very night of the abduction see fit to tell their friends about them leaving their patio door unlocked.

Why did they on the very night of the abduction say that they must be really checking and more frequently and then don't

Why on the very night of the abduction did Kate let someone else check on her kids if there was such concern of Madeleine waking and crying the night before.

Why did Kate say that if she could turn back the clock she would look around very carefully and see who was watching them.
If I were in her shoes and could turn back the clock my first thought wouldn't be looking for potential abductors. What an odd thing to say

Interesting posts, wrong, but interesting. In the words of the great Kenneth Williams- "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it infamy."

Lee- you really are a damaged, paranoid man.

You've spent so much time looking for conspiracy that you can't see reality. You think you and Sonia are truth-seekers, justice-fighters, and therefore everyone who disagrees with you must be a monster of depravity.

Now, you can dress it up however you want (and you have) you call me a 'kiddy-fiddler', 'a nonce', you can see me as a demon who needs fighting, trouble is Lee I'm just a housewife who had three questions. Unusual to have a Teaser trailer without a release date.
Sonia claims, no journalist or TV presenter has tackled the many inconsistencies with them. And no one has directly asked them the question in this trailer. This means she must have spent a great deal of time tackling the many inconsistencies with the McCann's, if this is true, 'it would be sensational' The question is, did the McCann's give detailed answers to her questions, if any, ore did they politely tell her to piss off and talk to Clarence Mitchell.
I hope her show is not another  'The Untold Story of Madeleine McCann:  with the usual theories spun in a different format, perhaps a few doorstep short stories, and nothing new from the McCann's.
I'm not too sure of Sonia's gullibility and investigative skills after watching her interview Michael Shrimpton QC the well-known delusional liar and  convicted sex pervert and Nuclear bomb hoaxer.
Sonia who at the time was presenting at TPV, unbelievably despite her interest in the alleged government pedophile rings, and the Madeleine McCann case seemed unbelievably unaware of Shrimpton's dodgy reputation and his claim that Madeleine McCann was “kidnapped and murdered on the orders of German Intelligence." The Germans did  it" are just a few of his unbelievable intelligence specialist stories.
Sonia fawned all over him, praising him for his candid stories and for being open and honest, She fell hook line and sinker for Shrimpton's outrageous unbelievable self-delusional lies, I hope she is more on the ball with the McCann's, if she ever interviews them.
I look forward to the release date.

How is this a "teaser trailer"? It simply shows that a nut job stalked Kate McCann. So what? You're not the first nutter to go to her door step and it doesn't show that you've got a single thing to offer in terms of furthering the truth of this story. I agree, Ruth, certainly - and yet the excuses we've heard so far are downright silly, and many are a result of backfitting. Remember, they've changed their stories several times, and now we know that Jane Tanner's 'sighting; was completely false, which sent the case in the wrong direction for 6 years. Anyway, The McCanns have had plenty of time to make their story fit the evidence, so I really don't see the value in anything she or Gerry have to say at this point. But I will watch all the same.

Strange how Sonia Poulton along with a camera crew, started filming at what looked like the entrance to the McCann's drive or road without anyone noticing or informing the McCann's. Sonia's camera crew then continued filming her walking down the drive and up to the McCann's front door, filming over the McCann's front garden hedge whilst Sonia knocked at the front door. Incredibly, Kate McCann opened the door to Sonia, who confronted her about the Portuguese unanswered questions all on camera. Can't wait to hear what she said?
This is unbelievable considering the McCann's, are probably the most well-known couple on the planet with a legion of haters, reportedly receiving  death threats and with two young children to protect. Kate chose to just casually open their front door to a stranger without first checking  who was at the door. I thought the McCann's had a gated drive to the house and security cameras or at least an answer door phone so that they could see and talk to callers before opening the front door. Presumably then, anybody with good or ill intentions can just knock on the McCann's door and there's a chance Kate McCann will open it. In light of this, I would urgently advise the McCann's to reconsider their home security arrangements.
I think there's more to this than meets the eye. Look forward to the video, hope I won't be disappointed.

I can't deny that the UK mainstream media are not always honest nor accurate but that applies to practically every story they cover - sensationalism is a good marketing ploy (to coin a phrase).  In latter days they have been reporting MBM stories that appear to have originated from a 'source close to the investigation' (snort!) but I don't think the press should be too severely criticized for publishing vague information released by some global press agency - albeit a load of tosh.

In my opinion it's Operation Grange and the UK establishment that should be answering questions.

Whatever, clearly this Untold Story of Madeleine McCann will never materialize.  Judging by the disgraceful exchanges on social networking (video comments included), I should be extremely surprised if Sonia Poulton has not sold herself down the Suwannee once and for all.

ETA:  Ms Poulton appears to be setting herself up against the main stream media, her primary source of income, in order to advance a career in radical freelance journalism come social commentary.  Think she will discover you can't have yer cake and eat it!
