Re: Breaking News on Sky News - SY back in PDL suspects to be interviewed
They are saying that some of the people to be interviewed worked as cleaners at the O.C. Is it possible that one of them was the cleaner that Kate supposedly sent away on May 3rd? Should someone be a little nervous about this?

What are the odds of the magic words 'immunity from prosecution' being spoken or at least one of the new arguidos being charged this week?

Has it officially been confirmed that some of these persons being interviewed are bonafide arquidos/suspects or are we simply listening to what the UK Msn are telling us ??

Whatever is going on - whether it points to whitewash or to justice, I bet AR is enjoying this - the power he seems to have over us the audience. He is still putting on a show for someone's benefit.Rasputin wrote:Has it officially been confirmed that some of these persons being interviewed are bonafide arquidos/suspects or are we simply listening to what the UK Msn are telling us ??
Certainly makes the PJ look professional anyway.
So Mr and Mrs Mc Cann - are you 'all buoyed up' or deflating ? Which one? need to know

Witness Statement Jose Carlos Fernandes da Silva Date: 2007-05-08 Occupation: Driver Place of Work: OC Comes to the process as a witness. He has worked as a driver at the OC since the 26th March of this year. His functions consist of driving the tourists from the reception to the apartments where they are staying. His working hours are from 11.00 to 16.00, except for Thursdays and Saturdays which are the days guests arrive and leave and when he starts and finishes work much earlier and later. He knows the resort well as he circulates throughout the whole resort. When asked whether he knows about the disappearance he says that he heard about it on the day of the disappearance at about 23.00 because he was on his balcony and two men passed by and asked him whether he had seen a small girl who had gone missing from a restaurant. On the following day when he arrived at work he was told all the details. When asked, he replies that he does not think he saw or spoke to the girl or her family before the disappearance. He only knew who they were from the news. Nobody made any comments to him about the guests or about children in the preceding days. He did not see anyone suspicious or any unusual vehicles. No more is said. Reads, ratifies, signs. |

Me too. Malinka leads to Murat, leads to.....
Could the four also include michaela Murat and his mother?
Closer to what, Helenmeg?
As far as I can see after the useless digs we now get the useless interviews. "they have to be eliminated, you see".
And not before they create 4 nice new Arguidos... who will now remain Arguidos - "Prime Suspects" in the UK media - throughout the closing stages of the libel trial, and its verdict phase. Right up until the case is shelved, with history rewritten. The creation of the Arguidos is a master stroke by AR - the timing and the make-up of the 4As is just what the UK media was hoping for.
Unless there is some kind of connection between one (or any) of these 4 back to the McCanns, then I think they are home free. Whether or not they get to go home with a share of the £1m libel pot remains to be seen. But with the amount of background noise that there will be from now on, the verdict (even if negative to the McCanns) will be easily drowned in a sea of Arguido stories, background histories and abduction plots.
What really worries me is that the McCanns, aided and abetted by the UK police, media and government have damaged Dr Amaral so badly that I worry for his health. Kate McCann has already said she wants him to feel miserable and to feel fear and that she wants him "to disappear", Dr Amaral's dog was also killed with a mysterious head injury - just how far will the UK go to destroy this man who was only doing his job, trying to find the child that THEY lost?
Just how much blood will the UK have on its hands when this case is shelved once again and this poor man is destroyed?
Madeleine is dead, will the UK stop this damage before they do the same to Dr Amaral?

In 7 years neither the PJ nor SY have ever had enough evidence to charge the actual perpetrators, and the whole world and its dog, knows there was no evidence of abduction. If someone is charged, they will then have to be prosecuted and the police must have enough evidence to convince the Portuguese Attorney General and the British Crown Prosecution Service, that they have enough evidence to get a conviction.

As the arguidos are Portuguese nationals they may be charged with whatever offence the PJ see fit, or not as the case may be Cristobell.

@uT, it is not within the reopened case of the PJ that these individuals are questioned. It's a result of the ILORs NSY sent. You can compare it to those rogatories once held in the UK.
So they are not witnesses, suspects heard in the reopened PJ investigation.
The people being interviewed are part (involuntarely) of the UK cover up.
It's time they stop blaming the victim.

Could be one of the people being re-interviewed, the OC driver perhaps as mentioned on the news programmes. Although he was not a driver when working for the OC but was after leaving the OC, the UK news reports never get their facts correct.
If the situation he referred to at the time "seemed abnormal" but had already been investigated, may be if further facts have been brought to light which may link in with what he was referring to, the PJ and SY want to quiz him further on the "abnormal situation" he reported.

My point really, is that they can't be charged with abduction as there is no evidence to support it. As for being made arguidos, though they were wrong with Robert Murat, they did at least have 4 people (McCann friends) pointing the finger at him. If they had something tangible, such as the DNA of one of the witnesses they are interviewing today or that one resembled Smithman then 1) he wouldn't have hung around to be interviewed and 2)he would have been arrested already.

It`s worth having a look at Unterdenteppich`s blog post in February ( under the Redwood tree) Perhaps someone more technologically able than I can bring it over.
The phone record of one of the cleaners may be interesting as it might show whether the alarm had been raised earlier than Kate said. The interviews may be taking place to see whether Gerry`s alibi about being round the Ocean Club until 10.00 pm can be eroded.

IF, as appears to be the case, a number of Portuguese nationals have been made arguidos, these decisions will have been made by the PJ and/or the investigating judge independently of any ILORs sent by the UK, parapono, and I don't see why I should come under attack for stating the obvious in response to Crisobell's question "Charged with what UT? I wonder if the OC driver was picking up all the friends and relatives who came out to join the McCanns on their extended holiday? It was 3 weeks before the McCanns hired a car, and Warners were laying on drivers for them up until that time - they may also have been driving the celebrity pair to their media interviews etc.

It seems to me the conning couple are very much in the picture, lj, and in all probability will the be last two in the frame - give or take 7 others who are grouped behind them.

One does rememberthat Malinka had not one, but two cars torched within a fairly short period of time.
The last one with the word 'Fala' (talk) written on the pavement next to it.
I've always seen him as an 'after the fact' helper.

Dogs are used by the fire services in the UK in burnt out buildings, how much they can detect after a fire I'm not sure, but I know they are used as I've seen them in action on TV programmes about the "Rescue Services".
