It is indeed hard to imagine how people with access to the Internet can blindly believe the McCanns. I just wish it was possible to have a polite discussion with them so that they could explain why they feel that way.

I have been shocked at the level of bile coming from the few pro McCann-ites on their, they appear almost unhinged, it is impossible to have a dialogue with them and yet they accuse the majority on the site of " lies, libel etc" one fool Jayelles also keeps threatening to take photo shots of tweets and to report them.
I have a feeling that they are running a combined operation, as soon as one departs another soon seems to come on line, trying hopelessly to give the impression they are more of a force to be reckoned with then they really are.
I recognise some of the names on here and you are doing a superb job with great dignity and restraint on Twitter, I pop up now and again as Sweepyface.

I point that may have been raised here before, so sorry if it has, but I find it very very telling that Dr Payne has been lampooned, accused fairly publicly for some time. The McCanns and their sorry bunch are THE most litigious people I have ever known, yet a deafening silence regarding his " proclivities" and also Gerrys sex register mentions…… no spin or furious denials have emerged at all ???!!!

And all this going on with nearby apartment residents/holiday makers/general passerbys seeing and hearing nothing strange between the times the 'alleged' abduction took place??? And yet Mrs Fenn would have had her ears pricked after the crying incident (and to note that she says she 'heard' the McCanns arrive back to the apartment on the night of the crying incident, so could hear movements etc around the place) Berry and Balu dining at an apartment only heard the commotion of the aftermath, but not any previous noise...Wow these 'abductors' were not only invisible and able to move through windows without a single bit of forensic evidence, but did it silently too. and escaped a holiday resort with only a couple of 'dubious' sightings....Indeed..you couldnt make it up!

IMO twitter, faceboook, and other such sites are the spawn of the devil and I've got no intention of participating in these methods of communication.

However, I must confess to having been highly entertained by much of what I've read after clicking on assorted links given in various threads here and I've become an avid follower of one 'Pedro Silva' whose musings are particularly amusing big grin

As it seems KM Pedro has ample time to gad around t'internet purporting to be a Portuguese citizen who holds Dr Amaral accountable for any villification of the McCanns, I find it odd they don't appear to express their sentiments in their native language on any of the Portuguese speaking social networking sites. Does anyone have evidence of Pedro contributing to anything other than predominantly English speaking sites?

there is a Portuguese speaker in a Facebook group I belong to and one day when I got into an argument with dear old Pedro, I thought about getting her to come on and have a conversation in Portuguese with him. I didn't in the end because I thought maybe he really is from Portugal and thus the trick would only backfire (I really can't quite tell if he is foreign or not; some of his mistakes are so stupid; others more convincing).

There must however be some good way to out this kind of troll. I'd love someone to do it.
