'Anti-McCann' troll forced by Leicestershire Police to remove anti-McCann blog from the internet - claim

A story has surfaced today about someone who published strongly-worded comments about he McCanns - and has been ordered by Leicestershire Police to close down his blog.
The accounts come from McCann-supporters, so this may not be true.

The indications are that it is the same person.

I imagine it is to do with the Teddy Shepherd ‘Only in America’ Blog where he had a go in the last few days at Simon Cole, Chief Constable of Leicester Police.
It started off with an article in The Times by Alice Thomson the other day:

As I drove along an A-road last Saturday, I was confronted by five police officers: one training a speed gun on my car, the others presumably providing moral support. Going at a sedate 25 miles an hour, it didn’t bother me, except it did. As I drove on, I kept wondering what local residents must make of it. Do they really want their police spending lots of time catching drivers going at 38mph in a 30mph zone on a straight road? Maybe there are no crimes in the countryside any more.

There was a bit of f’ing and blinding in the post and Cole clearly took exception to the criticism and the twitter thread ran as below:

So Shepherd has tried to call his bluff by taking down the blog and asking for answers to his McCann questions.
Don’t hold your breath though for a response.
Completely different take on the story compared to that suggested by ‘Robert Guest’, but that is what we have come to expect.

I have wondered for long time ,why we had no more info from Leicester police ,as they had been a part of pj looking for maddie for some time . I also think mr amaram has said that till the stage they were withdrawn , both Leicester and pj agrred with the work done so far . Now what happened to it after that stage ? joyce1938
