One of the most distinctive look to me is ,different hair colouring a lot ,I know sun will brighten up kids hair at times ,but some photos look as if it has been streaked with gold and blonde. it just was so odd to see that as I viewed a lot of photos together. does anyone else pick up on it ?joyce1938

I agree that her eyes look very odd in this photo - she does appear to be wearing eyeliner. But I would bet my last dollar on that being her own hair and not a wig - it looks 100% natural to me and not thick at all. Not everybody has a distinct parting, myself included.

As a hair stylist of many years I think that most wigs are very identifiable (if you know hair) - only the very, very expensive human hair tailor made wigs stand a chance of not being noticed.

There are quite a number of photographs which show a wig quite clearly imo butI can't post them until some time next year.

I've never had professional photos taken of my two girls except for the ones taken at school. They both liked playing at dressing up when small but I never let them anywhere near my make up, not that I used it much myself. It never crossed my mind to put the stuff on them myself for family photos and I don't know anyone who has done that.There's another aspect to the make up, given the frequency it seems to have been used on Madeleine, and that's the potential damage to her skin, especially around the eyes.You'd think doctors would be aware of that. Also, I cringe when I picture Kate or whoever it was applying mascara to a small child's eyelashes with one of those wand things...imagine if the child suddenly jerked her head about and that thing went into her eye. How did she manage to keep Madeleine still for long enough to apply it so flawlessly? And while I'm on about eyes, has anyone noticed the dark circles under Madeleine's eyes that can be seen in some photos? Could that be lack of sleep, or interrupted sleep ? What other things can cause that, does anyone know?

Don't know what causes it, but my youngest suffered from this......doctor didn't seem concerned about it when he was asked......she still has her "panda eyes" and she's 21 now.

The McCanns had photographs of Madeleine on their digital camera, which Mr Woolfall began transferring to a laptop computer
Mr Woolfall transmitted the photographs to the Press Association in London, from where they were distributed to the media. The portfolio included the now famous image of Madeleine wearing a hat on a tennis court.

All of the photo's imo are old ones none taken in Pria da Luz and I include the tennis one, why would that one be amongst old ones if it had been taken on their recent holiday?

Also I've noticed the smile in the pic below is very unlike most of Madeleine's smiling pix. In the pic below the corners of her mouth are turned down. In most of the other pix, the corners of her mouth turn up. Just wondering about that. It looks odd to me.

She has dimples in her cheeks in the top photos.
Only just noticed she has slight sunburn on the top of her cheeks under her eyes in the bottom photo - must have got that during the miserably cold and cloudy weather that day ! Ah .... but the clouds did begin to break up that afternoon.

I apologise if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I can now clear up once and for all the mystery concerning the identity of Emily Jane McCann. I applied for the birth certificate of this child just before Christmas and received it in today's post,
I can say with certainty that Emily Jane is NOT related to Madeleine. I won't reveal her parents' names or occupations or any other details because they and their child are innocent parties in this speculation but I will say that this child's father and mother are not listed as doctors. Emily Jane was born on 20th January 2003 in Somerset and the fact that her parents have the same surnames as Gerry McCann and Kate Healy is pure coincidence.

If anyone feels they want to see this document then I will consider scanning it and sending it through my private email address. I will be in a position to do this next week when I have access to the scanning technology to do it, I don't feel it would be fair on this family to make the document public by putting it up here since they have no connection whatsoever with this case.

Also, in the upper photo, the jowls are longer, with dimples, more like the 'everton shirt' photo.
The bone structure has developed more in the upper photo, indicating an age progression, older age than the pool photo.
Since the pool photo, according to Gerry as the happiest memory of his lost daughter, is supposedly her last photo, then someone is telling a porkie here. It's very unlikely that Maddie's bone structure and growth development is going to have receded with time.

I think she looks so different from photo to photo. She seems to have dimples in some photos and not in others. Gaps in her teeth in some but not in others. Dark hair in some and blonde in others. And I hate to say it but bags under her eyes in some and not in others. I presume these differences are due to different stages/ages in her life but the thing is, nobody knows which of these characteristics she had at the time, not that it matters now nearly 7 years on I soppose.

thank you for the welcome mum. I looked at the topic about changing the old photos of Kate but don't really get that. But apart from the fact that no pictures of Maddie on the Portugal holidays showing her looking into the camera, there arent any photos of the 3 children all together. As a mum myself, and you are one too I cant imagine going on holiday and not having a photo of them all in the same photo

Daisy, some of those photos on that link aren't correctly identified.

For instance, in numbers 1 to 4 the older Payne daughter is correctly named as the one in the striped top. There are question marks about who the other girl is.

Whoever the child in photos 8 and 10 is, she isn't LP but the one in 12 and 13 is.

There are a lot of photoshopped versions of the pool pic floating around, where people have removed maddie, put her on the other side of Gerry, etc. to prove how easy photoshopping is. My opinion is that whoever made the video simply pulled pics off the net to use.
