Would still be good to know how they secured a conviction. It reads as if all the forensic work involved soil and hair.

Extremely bad and misleading reporting.
As has already been said, if any dogs had been succesfully used and there was evidence to prove this, it would have been provided by the busy beavers at the old 3a's.
