Very worth while lecture with appropriate inserts. We know we have seen them and trust that the police /psychological analysts have seen them too.jcloth wrote:I took the opportunity to insert examples of the McCanns lying into Meyer's lecture - think it makes a compelling case!

Great video, nice editing. Well done. There are many more of these"facial expressions", but these will do ...

I would love to be able to do extreme closeups on their hands as they're speaking - specifically Gerry holding Kate's hand - just to see if there are any subtle "signal" gestures going on between them.

I say;
Let's find and put together all the videos and photos that show the mccanns crying, so it can be studied.
Or their fake sad faces.
Very hard to find!

I think the photos taken of Gerry and Kate on the night of and early morning following Madeleine's disappearance are fairly honest. Kate looks devastated and exhausted. I think that much is genuine.

Brilliant exposition in that video. Thank you.
I often watch the duper's delight videos and slow them down, aghast at how they must be the only people on the planet to get away with this BS. If experts haven't spotted their tells by this stage they should be fired.
The Paxman interview is ripe for analysis too.

I think, she looks scared. And defensive. All IMO as she did many times later on up until Rothley and Pinky speaking for them ... BUT, in between in PdL after some time, she was a happy get going ... Significant, IMO.

I agree, Chatelaine. In that early video where Gerry puts his head on her shoulder, where's she's appealing to the alleged 'abductor' she looks to my eyes emotionally dissociated, distant and almost resigned ...like a powerless, abused wife (I speak from experience - watching Gerry in this video many years down the line from my own experience made my skin crawl in a very powerful way). There's an article somewhere on the internet that analyses this video where someone has slowed down the audio just at that point where Gerry drops his head on her shoulder and looks directly up at her. It sounds like he's saying 'Don't talk'. And as he makes this ostensibly empathetic gesture she remains rigid when, if they were a genuine loving couple going through hell, you'd expect her to move her head towards his to accept the 'comfort' he was supposedly offering.

Exactly!
I was sickened, when I saw it the first time. I'm still sickened, when I see it the so-maniest time

Start by recalling the Tia Sharpe / Hazell case.
And then compare
CRISPS AND TREATS AND BISCUITS BEFORE BEDTIME, ANYONE? TWO BEDTIME STORIES NOT ONE?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
17.00 ONWARDS
Or the book,
"When they were all in their PJs, we went through to the sitting room and I brought them some milk and a biscuit. (Actually, as a very special treat, tonight they had a few crisps as well.) While they were looking at their books and playing with their games, I took a quick shower. . . . So he went back to the tennis while I quickly dressed and sat down on the couch with the children.
Here is another of those vivid, now cherished memories: Madeleine, in her Eeyore pyjamas, sitting on my lap and cuddling in – something of which she was especially fond when she was tired. We were on one of the two blue sofas, the one facing the patio doors, with Sean and Amelie to our right. I read them a Mog story by Judith Kerr. Auntie Ail – my cousin Aileen – and Uncle Andy had bought this for Madeleine on her third birthday and it remained one of her favourites. She asked if she could wear my engagement ring, which she often liked to do. I took it off and she put it on her middle finger for a few minutes. Gerry arrived back promptly at 7pm, sat down on the other couch and we all chatted for a while. Then we shepherded our three weary little ones through to the bathroom to brush their teeth and for Madeleine to do her bedtime ‘wee-wee’.
I took them all into their bedroom. Madeleine got into her bed and then Amelie, Sean and I settled ourselves on top of it, with our backs against the wall, for our final story, If you’re happy and you know it!, another present to Madeleine, this one from Great-Auntie Janet and Great-Uncle Brian. If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands! says the monkey. Stamp your feet! says the elephant.
If you’re happy and you know it . . . It seemed so fitting at the time. Madeleine was obviously exhausted and her head sank down on her pillow intermittently, although she did join in with the babbled responses of her little brother and sister. It’s strange the things you remember. . . .
Gerry came through to say goodnight. We helped Sean and Amelie give their big sister a ‘night-night’ kiss before laying them in their adjacent travel cots. Then we kissed the twins, and kissed Madeleine, already snuggled down with her ‘princess’ blanket and Cuddle Cat – a soft toy she’d been given soon after she was born and never went to bed without. We were in no doubt that all three would be asleep in an instant. As always, we left the door a few inches open to allow a glimmer of light into the room."
Do we detect the same over-eargerness to demonstrate how perfect everything was, and how caring and loving St Katherine was (before she abandoned them all to their fate, obviously)
Milk AND biscuits AND crisps
not one story but TWO
Wearing the engagement ring
Lots of kissing, everyone kissing everyone else.
Special emphasis on cuddle cat
And let us recall that Madeleine had been so exhasted by her afternoon of finger-paining that she could not even walkthe length of the garden, from the tapas back to the apartment and had to be carried. But now she is wide awake and having lots more to eat and drink and endless stories, and then is suddenly comatose again.
Telling that they were " in no doubt that all three would be asleep in an instant." !!! Camomile tea ?
"The verbal signs are the best signs… liars will try and come across as being a very nice and genuine person. They will be trying to manage how they look… liars are far more aware of this than truth-tellers"
"One of Hazell's main strategies is to emphasise the fact that he's a care giver, that he loves Tia and would do nothing to harm her.
"You get that a lot… people will slip in how nice they are - and liars do that more than truth tellers."
As seen in the interview, Stuart stresses that he gave Tia a ten pound note, and that he had given her breakfast and sweets and a sausage roll - all intended to be indicators of his caring personality.''

Cuddle Cat – a soft toy she’d been given soon after she was born and never went to bed without.
If that was true, then her DNA would have been all over it. She'd have drooled on it as an infant.
And yet...Cuddle Cat was never given to the police as a source of Madeleine's DNA. Not even to check it to see if it contained her DNA.
