Bernt Stellander interview - Page 33 Empty Read The Sudden Impulse in audio...(directions)

Post by JB2025 24.10.24 12:54

For those of you wanting The Sudden Impulse e-book read in audio (so you don't have to read all 800 pages yourself), here's how it is done:

1. Purchase the e-book via Smashwords
2. Download the ReadEra App.
3. Upload your e-book file into ReadEra App
4. Select the 'speaker' icon/button in the top RHS of ReadEra (you can select voice type too).

I've done the above and it has worked perfectly, and I am on my 4th read out in a UK Male voice. NB Yes! Jane stepped in the salad!

I do think I have settled in nicely and hope my contributions are as valid as everyone's, no matter how long I have been here this time around. I would like to think I am clued up enough on the case, admittedly not as much as most but more than enough. We are all here in search of the truth whatever that may be.

My memory is jogged by Pat's 'golf salesman' remark; I thought that an extremely snide thing to say, and I don't think much of her now.  A lot of profiling, in this case, has been done  by people who don't describe themselves as criminal profilers, whereas she does, and the others have made a better job of it, imo.

It's simply green eyed monster syndrome and Top dog syndrome.
If they read Bernts Book they will understand that he isn't in this for fame or fortune  He just wants Madeleines remains found and laid to rest properly and to do that the Timeline needs scrutiny, the words and actions of the tapas 9 need scrutiny. I think K lamented (allegedly abducted) M not having her Barbie pyjamas that were warmer as M hated cold. In "madeleine" ? Speaking to their priest friend ? I can't remember right now. I'll search.

Insisting that a claim is true simply because a valid authority or expert on the issue said it was true is just as a poor an argument as invalidating a claim based upon a perceived lack of experience or expertise on an issue. It is always encouraging when someone with expertise in the field puts forward a claim with evidentiary support, however valid opinions come from all backgrounds and experiences; try to disprove the hypothesis not discredit the person.

The Eeyore pyjamas were a typical red herring. K didn't lose an opportunity to mention those short sleeves pyjamas. The simplest reason I can think of is that according to Aoife, the carried child's clothes had long sleeves. It is obvious, coinsidering its size, that the so many times exhibited Eeyore wasn't Amelie's. So M was removed with the Barbie long sleeves one (that nobody ever saw). The May 2nd night was chilly.

If you were going away for one week, would you pack TWO pairs of pyjamas for each of your Three children ?
And if Madeleine has a long sleeved AND a short sleeved pair, which would it be necessary to Wash one because it had a drop of tea (?) on it.   Vomit yes,   Fae***. yes,  but TEA ?

This is another part of the Story they didn't rehearse properly, like the point at which Kate said

If either of my children had been bed wetters then they would have worn nappies so maybe yes I would have taken two pairs for each child just for ordinary grubbiness. If  child spills liquid of any sort then the pjs could have been wet. Either just a little or wet through depending on the amount spilled. In that case a quick rinse and put to dry. Spilled tea though will stain if allowed to dry so how was it not noticed before it had dried? Even milky tea would have been evident.
For me this is another case of too much detail. Why not just say that you had done a bit of hand washing, why all the detail?

I'm sure I read somewhere that after the bath, they would take the children to the playground area.
I always thought that to be unlikely because they
would get filthy.
So why mention a small tea stain, there was a whole shelf in the wardrobe full of dirty washing according to Gerry.
Maybe there was another set of pyjamas with long sleeves.

Re the wardrobe and the alleged dirty rumpled up washing  instead of wasting time handwashing a pyjama top you’d grab some of them alleged dirty clothes and do a washing machine wash, especially when you had the maintenance men out to fix said washing machine …. Unless you had to soak something that required a certain kind of soaking

The washing machine wasn't broken, the service men came to fix the broken blind and Kate asked them to show her how to work the washer.
From the look of the clothes on the shelf, she never used the washer.
If Kate had washed Madeleine's pyjama top and put it out to dry, I'm not convinced it would be dry enough for her to wear that same night, the weather wasn't warm enough to fully dry washing in my opinion.
There is no way I would be putting it on my child.

Not that it really matters but when on holiday we have always used one of the cases/bags as what we called the ''dirty bag''. We never just threw our dirty clothes into a pile somewhere. Now with all the running and sweaty tennis surely the pile of clothes would be almost fermenting. Phew.
