She was online here several times recently but never posted. Some things are starting to make sense to me now - I mentioned her and another member in a post a few weeks ago and nobody responded, which got me thinking...
Some are here, obviously.

Why do people have to sneak around to see if anybody is speaking of them? I have left the facebook groups I went on because of this with Bernt and his book and I have been on them for years. I just can't be doing with it. I have no doubt we have people here now just to snoop. Sad lives pity they haven't anything better to do.Ladyinred wrote:Yes, I did think it was her when you mentioned thatBerntS wrote:LiR.

It’s called being green eye’d monster’s and wanting to be TopDog’s rolled into one, I believe that’s why they didn’t read your book and instead chose to go down the route of an orchestrated discrediting campaign especially after how successful your JE interview was receivedBerntS wrote:The fact that she nor Pat B read the book, should tell you a lot about their character.

I don't believe they're here to check it we're speaking of them, why we would be doing that? I would suggest it's to read about Bernt and report back. I don't know anything about these other groups but it is a shame, if true, that he's being attacked for his attempts to get to the truth, like they are.Nina wrote:

I've been an admirer of HideHo and her work, although I doubted it happened on the Sunday, and would hope that she sees Bernt's work as adding to our knowledge and moving the mystery forward.

If you dare to have a different opinion on a subject, they will do their best to discredit you.
The truth is, not one of the criticisers have come close to revealing what happened to Madeleine.

Quite frankly, it was down childish and disrespectful and toxic.
don't like Facebook at the best of times but this behaviour was shocking from grown adults was nothing short of bullying.
I can't remember which group I saw all this on, but it's probably across the board
It wouldn't surprise me if those members are seeing here and there are an influx of newbies and hiding in plain sight.
Jill it might be worth keeping a close eye on that. Remember we had that argumentative bloke a few weeks back.
Genuine members don't behave with such vitriol. We respect everyone's view point and keep an open enquiring mind over what happened to Madeleine. Everyone's theories, hypotheses and viewpoints have validity.

Snipped from your post Jojo1,Jojo1 wrote:I popped into facebook last night. I wish I hadn't bothered as members of the MM groups were on the warpath against Bernt last night since the interview with Moxi. Poor Moxi was getting slated and they were totally discrediting Bernt. Basically they were saying stuff like he was regurgitating stuff that they already knew via the files, other researchers and their videos, and how Bernt was all a con, the many personas of Bernt, that the film's on the hill don't exist etc etc. Yet they were Quite happy to praise Crime knights videos and others.

Did you contribute the discussion there, as in show your support for Bernt?
I'm really not interested in what's going on in FB, unless it's constructive and interesting.

Sometimes you scare me Ladyinred almost as much as Verdi did. I am on quite a few FB groups not linked to Madeleine and it seems to be quite common to attempt to discredit others regardless of the topic.Ladyinred wrote:You're a newbie too, so we'll be keeping an eye on you

I was responding to Jojo's post about Madeleine FB groups. Personally, I have no interest in 'he said, she said' on those groups as I don't find them helpful, but accept that some people do. Perhaps I have no right to comment on them as I have never visited those sites, fair enough.

Re: Bernt Stellander interview
Yes, they are..... It's an orchestrated campaign with the flying sofa in the driving seat.
Pat jumped on since it serves her refurbished book well.
Look at the tone in Pat's apology video, and then compare with the tone in the "review" video. Guess who wound her up for that shift of tone.... The rustic sofa contacted anyone with a pulse, to join in.
And she hasn't read the book.... Go figure.
But if course, for some, having spent 17 years on a rediculous sighting and missing obvious clues, is painful for someone taking themselves too serious. Aoife said long sleeves, but Maddie's pj barely had sleeves at all.
No shame in being wrong, and it's still admirable having fought for truth for almost 18 years.
But they're taking their legacy down by the green eyed monster. So they would love the mystery living on, as the truth would hurt their inflated egos.
Anyone know of one case Pat has "solved" in her carreer, before becoming a donation hugger. I'm sure there must be something there, cause it looks like a casino junkey who had a hit, but then lost their house and maybe the mind...

If they read Bernts Book they will understand that he isn't in this for fame or fortune He just wants Madeleines remains found and laid to rest properly and to do that the Timeline needs scrutiny, the words and actions of the tapas 9 need scrutiny. He has looked at the case with fresh eyes with great honesty, integrity and empathy alongside his proactive boots on the ground approach.
If Peter Mac has opened his mind, then that says a lot to me and puts me fully on board with Bernts work.
Yup...I have Bernt Syndrome

I didn't hang around long enough on facebook to pass comment in support of Bernt. I wish I had, but I don't get involved in their petty squabbles as that just feeds their vitriol and they love that. I just don't like bullies.

Re: Bernt Stellander interview
Pat called me a golf salesman and left my military police background out.
Anyone who looked at the cover of my book would know I'm an inventor and founder of a golf brand with multiple golf tech and alignment patents. I also mention my relative positioning technology, the TrollEye, which is now being developed for multiple applications including military, gaming, teaching, subsea, medicine, aviation and what have you.
I never sold a golf club in my life, but I have sold batches of a few hundred many many times.
If you think that's a fair description of me, then that's just something I have to deal with.

I know you were responding about FB groups and yes as I said I am on quite a few groups other than the Madeleine couple. Two from a professional viewpoint and they too sometimes have spats but as they are there to help and advise members and visitors so I still visit them on a daily basis.
The Madeleine groups though are made up of people from all walks of life some who have professional backgrounds dealing with law and order and child protection but still there will be spats. There are very good points for their existence but the group can very quickly become unsettled particularly if the flames of unrest are fanned by ''respected'' contributors. The admin box will be on high alert.
