Analysing the McCanns.
The Behaviour Panel is a YouTube Chanel where four leading experts in their respective fields of expertise, analyse and discuss various interviews; basically, they are very similar to Peter Hyatt but where Peter does not put too much faith into reading body language and is more textual, this team address the topic of body language much more stringently, while using every skill set each of them have acquired over decades of training and then set to work to unravel the unseen. Sometimes they are very close to the truth but sometimes they are so far off the mark, it defies belief.
They are billed as four of the best body language experts in the world and have covered some very interesting topics. These are Greg Hartley, Scott Rouse, Chase Hughes and Mark Bowden.
Right off the bat, while I am currently writing out a four part piece called, Profiling the Profilers, which includes Pat Brown, Peter Hyatt, Laura Richards with Jim Clemente and the legendary detective Lou Smit, I feel it is very important for anyone who puts their faith in the accuracy of reading body language to fully understand that while very interesting, certainly gripping at times, as we see 'experts' delve behind the dualistic twin mask of human nature and expose the truth, the real truth is - at the end of the day, naturally or trained, - you are either poor, good, very good, excellent or exceptional at reading people and sometimes, you get it very close but sometimes you just don't get it right at all.
Firstly, getting it right. The team examine Pasty Ramsey and they nail this big time. As a group of very intelligent individuals, with all their skills examining Patsy's body language (including tone of voice) all four are at the top of their game: Greg Hartley is excellent, as is Scott Rouse, but it is Chase Hughes and especially Mark Bowers who are (in this analysis) exceptional, but being fair, Patsy (like Kate) is incredible easy to read but as will be shown in Profiling the Profilers, what happens when you body read someone who's skill level at deception is far greater than your skill level of deducement? The simple answer is, you get it wrong, badly wrong - as no matter how good you are - you will just see what they want you to see, and you will just say it 'as it is' and this is because you are 'reading the lie' and accepting (interpenetrating) it as factually true. And this is what happened when the team examined a very early McCann interview but there was something else; something else happened and this played a huge factor in their perception of the McCanns, which showed in the summary analysis which is presented at the end of each episode.
Without going into details: there was a psychological exchange, which added to and affected (influenced) the result.
At the end, the team decided the McCann's were truthful, citing:
Chase (20 years in US Military. Psychological operations, persuasion, influence and behaviour profiling) said the McCanns were 90% telling the truth (jokingly adding about 92.761%)
Scott (body language expert, training law enforcement and military interrogation) said the McCanns were 4% deceptive and 96% telling the truth.
Mark (expert in human behaviour and body language) said, no resume statement: no obfuscation: no distracting. Summing up, he said it was 'very clear' they were expressing, guilt, shame and sadness. (In leaving the children to go to dinner).
Greg (20 years in the army, interrogation and interrogation instructor) said the McCanns were 90 – 95% truthful but hiding data [that could help the investigation] so basically like Scott, he gave them 100%
But them he adds (just in case) “Anybody – if you find evidence tomorrow that said these people killed their child, I would be absolutely astounded”. (Further adding) “Now if you find circumstantial evidence, but I would venture to say were not going to find that, based on what I see here. And if so, we need to talk to them to learn how they got so good at lying”.
For me, the most important and most dangerous comment made was by Chase at 44 minutes in, where he categorically states, “There's no dupers delight! I'd stake my reputation on it!”
It is well known that the most dangerous lie in the world is the one that most closely resembles the truth, which is the founding principle and main indoctrination tool of how Cults work. And John Ramsey's favourte quote and number one tactic which he himself used from Hitler and Joseph Goebbles is: 'the people will believe any lie if it is big enough and told to them often enough and loud enough'. Any lie projected like this - will, eventually, become the truth. Many other deceptive people also use this technique to their advantage but it is most highly favoured by individuals who wish to employ mass conditioning.
As brilliant as these four men are, this body language analysis episode of the McCanns has to rank as the perfect example of why body language is not viewed as a science or reliable and why there is usually the disclaimer, (the same type which is usually broadcast at the start of TV shows featuring psychics) and that is - for educational and entertainment purposes only.
The episode is just under 55 mins and is one of the most difficult things to watch about this case since the hugely disappointing Netflix presentation but shows how easy it is, even for the best of the best to be taken in and fooled – so easily.

Re: Analysing the McCanns
I'm not convinced that the Netflix presentation was 'hugely disappointing".
We all knew it would not do more than skate lightly over the Official story.
But one of the things it did was to prove to the entire world that Jon Clarke of "The Olive Press" was and remains an inveterate LIAR.
Their use of him speaking direct to camera, cut with contemporaneous news-reel video proving beyond a reasonable doubt that his stories were tissues of invention, farragoes, a pack of downright lies – was a masterful use of the medium.
His reputation, and that of his paper, can never recover. He has also forfeited any reasonable prospect of ever successfully suing anyone for impugning his veracity on any other subject.
He is tarred and feathered by his own hand.
He is hoist with his own petard.
He has sat upon his own grenade.
He has caught himself in his own zip.
How SAD
