They'll attend " a local church " , which one will it be ?
Despite apparently being " devout Catholics " they seem to use any available church that'll have them !
That " missing piece of the jigsaw " - just a suggestion - Peter Barlow ( Coronation Street) has been devoting his time to jigsaws lately , ask him he might be able to help it's about as useful as the rest of the rubbish MSM and the " friend " are coming up with .
Just when are detectives going to " quiz " Breukner , when they've spoken to ( and paid ) a few more of his alleged " friends " to spill a few more beans ?
Aha , got it , it's a " bean jigsaw " !

Down the Kingdom Hall for good old bout of happy clappy.
Errant Martin the Fricker has vent his spleen over the past 24 hours. I await with trepidation for the next, this weekend, heart wrenching write-up (your alley) from the effervescent Olive Oyl of 'The Daily Tablet'.

They've been using the same mantra since the dawn of Operation Grange, every time the fictitious investigation time span nears and end, out comes the £750,000 round figure to the rescue.
Technically, it's not their money. It's public money, the McCanns are self appointed custodians in the guise of a Limited Company.
Will this one day be investigated in it's own right? I doubt it ....
14 years ago they couldn't pay their own mortgage, now they have more £750,000. What have they been doing to accumulate such a large sum in such a short time?

It was indeed overcast and a bit blustery earlier today.
I am told the government decreed that traffic around Portimão was not permitted. God knows how they hoped to achieve that.

The remembrance for Madeleine McCann has been cancelled for a second time

Madeleine McCann's parents say they will 'never stop hoping' to find their daughter as they face spending the 14th anniversary of her disappearance alone, according to a close relative.
Kate and Gerry McCann will remember their daughter privately after an outdoor prayer gathering was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.
But the couple are asking well wishers to come together remotely to remember and pray for Madeleine, just days before her milestone 18th birthday on May 12th.
Three-year-old Madeleine, known as Maddie, vanished from a holiday apartment in Portugal's Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007. She had been left sleeping alone with her younger twin siblings while her parents were dining in a nearby tapas restaurant with friends.
Maddie's great uncle Brian Kennedy has said the family have never stopped hoping.
The family usually hold gatherings to mark Maddie's birthday but, for the second time, they have had to cancel due to coronavirus.
'We have decided with the Rothley churches that once again we will not hold a general gathering at the Green, though we had been hoping to do so,' Mr Kennedy, 81, said.
'We all consider that distancing would still be a problem if the usual numbers were to attend and we wouldn't feel entirely happy about that. So each of the churches will do their own service over Sunday and Monday and make them available as widely as possible by streaming.
'It's not perfect but the important thing is to remember the day as widely as possible.'
Former GP Kate, 53 and heart doctor Gerry, 52 would normally attend the Sacred Heart Catholic church near their home with twins Sean and Amelie, now aged 16.
In the evening the family would walk a mile to the war memorial where many supporters congregate for the annual informal prayers.
A candle still burns around the clock at Cross Green as a beacon of hope for the world's most famous missing child.
The family cling onto hope that Maddie could still be alive until they can be 'shown incontrovertible evidence which proves that she is dead,' ex family spokesperson Clarence Mitchell previously said.
British cops have requested new funding to carry on the £12.5m global search for her which is set to be approved by the Home Office.
Convicted paedophile and rapist Christian B (Brueckner), 44, remains under investigation as the prime suspect in Maddie's abduction.

Madeleine McCann's parents 'hang on to hope' of seeing her again in poignant message ahead of 18th birthday
Kate and Gerry McCann said "we need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter" as they prepare to mark her birthday.
By David Mercer, news reporter
Tuesday 4 May 2021 11:57, UK
The parents of Madeleine McCann have said they "hang on to the hope" of seeing their daughter again in a poignant message ahead of her 18th birthday.
Kate and Gerry McCann said the COVID pandemic had made this year "even more difficult for many reasons" and the investigation to find Madeleine and her abductor is ongoing.
Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, on Portugal's Algarve, on 3 May 2007.
In a statement posted on the Find Madeleine website, the McCanns said "we need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter" as they prepare to mark her 18th birthday on 12 May.
"Every May is tough - a reminder of years passed, of years together lost, or stolen," the couple from Rothley, Leicestershire, said.
"This year it is particularly poignant as we should be celebrating Madeleine's 18th birthday. Enough said.
"The COVID pandemic has made this year even more difficult for many reasons but thankfully the investigation to find Madeleine and her abductor has continued.
"We hang on to the hope, however small, that we will see Madeleine again.
"As we have said repeatedly, we need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter, no matter what. We are very grateful to the police for their continued efforts.
"We still receive so many positive words and good wishes despite the years that have gone by. It all helps and for that we are truly grateful - thank you."
A German man known as Christian B, due to the country's strict privacy laws, was identified last year as a suspect in Madeleine's disappearance.
He was convicted in 2019 of the rape of a 72-year-old woman in Portugal in 2005 at the same seaside town where Madeleine went missing.
His appeal against the rape conviction was thrown out of court in November.
Even though Christian B is a suspect in the McCann case, prosecutors have said they do not have enough evidence to hold him on that case alone.
Scotland Yard confirmed in December it has no plans to end its missing person investigation into Madeleine's disappearance, despite the belief of German prosecutors that she was murdered.
The McCanns issued a statement in June strongly denying reports they have received a letter from German authorities stating that Madeleine is dead.
The couple said the "unsubstantiated stories" had "caused unnecessary anxiety to friends and family and once again disrupted our lives".

That is VERY different from "We do not have the last vital missing piece of evidence to Charge him".
Evidence to hold is significantly lower in quantity or quality from that required to Charge.

Madeleine McCann: Parents 'hang on to hope' ahead of 18th birthday
Published 1 hour ago
Madeleine McCann's parents say they are hanging on to the hope of seeing her again as they prepare to mark her 18th birthday.
In a statement, Kate and Gerry McCann said they still need to know what happened to her, "no matter what".
Madeleine disappeared on 3 May 2007, shortly before her fourth birthday on 12 May.
People usually gather in her home village of Rothley in Leicestershire to mark the anniversary.
However, the pandemic meant this could not happen so online prayers were said instead.

In their statement, Mr and Mrs McCann said: "Every May is tough - a reminder of years passed, of years together lost, or stolen.
"This year it is particularly poignant as we should be celebrating Madeleine's 18th birthday. Enough said."
They said the Covid-19 pandemic had made the year "even more difficult for many reasons", but were thankful the investigation to find Madeleine had continued.
"We hang on to the hope, however small, that we will see Madeleine again," they said.
"As we have said repeatedly, we need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter, no matter what. We are very grateful to the police for their continued efforts."
'Never give up'
The Reverend Rob Gladstone, vicar of Rothley Parish Church, asked people to continue to pray for Madeleine's family and the families of other missing children.
"In just a week's time, Madeleine will be 18, a very significant event in the life of every family, and so we want to pray especially for Gerry and Kate in the days ahead," he said.
"The family wish us to never, never, never give up, to leave no stone unturned, not to forget about Madeleine and to recognise that although still missing, she is still missed."
During the online service on Monday, he also read a poem called The Beacon, which was written by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage especially for the family.

This Morning viewers watched on as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield interviewed an expert on the Madeleine McCann case today (May 4).
On Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV show, the hosts sat down with former Chief Superintendent Sue Hill to discuss her disappearance.
Madeleine went missing on the evening of May 3, 2007, when she was just three-years-old.
Ahead of her 18th birthday, Holly and Phillip were given an update on the case.
Phil started: “So this investigation is known as Operation Grange. It is still an active missing persons investigation. It is not a murder investigation.
“And so, and I said there, it would have been Madeleine’s 18th birthday coming up… let’s hope, it will be. Because that is what her parents believe.”
Meanwhile, Sue explained: “Well of course, I think that is what we are all hoping.
“I mean, we would love an outcome where we find Madeleine. But I think the reality is 14 years on, and it is every parent’s worst nightmare, they do not know and nobody knows where Maddie is.”
Furthermore, she shared: “Police working on the investigation, police on Operation Grange, they still refer to it as a missing persons investigation. There is no evidence Madeleine McCann is not alive.
“And you follow the evidence, you follow the intelligence.”
Later on, Sue added that she “hopes” Madeline is alive.
She continued: “We all hope don’t we that Maddie will be found alive. She is at the heart of this investigation, a little girl that’s gone but there’s no evidence.”
How did viewers react?
Meanwhile, viewers were stunned that Madeleine has been missing for so long.
One said: “14 years since Madeleine McCann went missing!”
In addition, a second wrote: “Wow! 14 years!?!”
Another added: “It’s heartbreaking that Madeleine McCann is still missing. But what about the thousands of other children who are missing, who don’t even get 1% of the funding or publicity.”
A fourth shared: “Still so shocked at how Madeleine McCann disappearing is such a mystery in this day and age.”
A fifth said: “Madeleine McCann would’ve been 18 next week. If that doesn’t make you feel old nothing will!”

Furthermore, a user tweeted: “If Madeleine McCann had been from a council estate would the investigation STILL be open with for detectives actively working the case!?

Madeleine went missing on the evening of May 3, 2007, in Praia da Luz, Portugal.

Her parents, doctors Kate and Gerry, were at a local restaurant with their friends at the time of the disappearance.

How can it be said that former Chief Superintendent Sue Hill is an expert on the Madeleine McCann case when she clearly ignores the documented evidence and intelligence?
How can she give an update on the case when she's not even involved?

Someone on TikTok has gone viral sharing a theory that she could be missing girl Madeleine McCann, and people have not found her “joke” very funny at all.
The video, which has over four million views, begins with captions which read: “My mates joke about me being Madeleine McCann.” It then goes on to claim that the girl in the video was staying in the Praia da Luz area, where three-year-old Madeleine disappeared from, at the same time as the disappearance.
The clip concludes with a picture of Madeleine, compared to a picture of her as a child – where they do like strikingly similar. Madeleine McCann has an eye condition known as a Coloboma, which is extremely rare and means she has a freckle under her pupil – it appears the girl in the TikTok video may have something similar too.
Despite the video showing a few similarities between the two girls, and beginning with it being a “joke”, people in the comments haven’t taken to it very well. Whilst some encourage the unnamed TikTok user to “get a DNA test now” and “contact Maddie’s family”, others have said it’s “sick” and asked “why would someone joke about this?”. Another comment added: “On which planet is this considered funny?”
Next week would mark Madeleine McCann’s 18th birthday, and parents Kate and Gerry have released a new statement saying they still “hang onto hope” that they will find her.
In a statement posted on the Find Madeleine website, the McCanns said: “We need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter. Every May is tough – a reminder of years passed, of years together lost, or stolen. This year it is particularly poignant as we should be celebrating Madeleine’s 18th birthday.”
The statement continued: “The COVID pandemic has made this year even more difficult for many reasons but thankfully the investigation to find Madeleine and her abductor has continued. We hang on to the hope, however small, that we will see Madeleine again.
“As we have said repeatedly, we need to know what has happened to our lovely daughter, no matter what. Madeleine went missing from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, in the Algarve, Portugal, on May 3rd 2o07.

We are very grateful to the police for their continued efforts. We still receive so many positive words and good wishes despite the years that have gone by. It all helps and for that we are truly grateful – thank you.”
Madeleine went missing from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, in the Algarve, Portugal, on May 3rd 2o07.

Interesting that everyone is furious about it.
Which tends to show that they too know, know, that Madeleine died 14 years ago.
If an 18 yr old blonde turns up complete with coloboma, would you as parents not want her investigating ?
But obviously not.

It's not as though they can't afford an investigation - £750k put aside for that very purpose. Yet again, they give themselves away. Apart from which, they would have drained that fund if they didn't know where Madeleine was.

There was another girl who claimed she is Maddie a couple of years ago around these times. so every couple of years someone comes and claims she's Maddie.. Why don't they stop this scam, it's enough they milked people for the last 14 years. She's 18, she's an adult. They can use the excuse she has a right to go missing. Stop looking for concentrate how to bag the McCann's and whoever else is involved in her death.

Has Operation Grange in company with Social Services rushed around to Miss Tik Tok to obtain a DNA sample in order to rule out any possibility that her friends may be right?
Is Carter - Ruck standing by to sue Tik Tok or the young lady in question?
Thought not...
They cannot even be bothered to keep up the pretence any more can they?

Why would anyone bother to take notice of this stupid girl, it's obviously nothing but a cheap prank.
The girl should stop hanging out with her girlfriends, they are clearly encouraging her to make a fool of herself and be their stooge.
McCanns private investigation files
Still, promotion of the story by mainstream and social media has the desired effect. Another for the troll box and a good distraction.

Kate McCann’s ‘horror’ at what hotel staff wrote before Madeleine McCann’s disappearance
KATE MCCANN responded in "horror" when she discovered a particular detail about her daughter Madeleine's disappearance in police files, according to her memoirs.

Madeleine McCann would have been celebrating her 18th birthday with her family tomorrow had she not suddenly disappeared on a family holiday in 2007. The mystery surrounding her disappearance remains unsolved, 14 years after the infant went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal. The case has been a source of anguish for Madeleine’s parents ever since — her mother, Kate, even wrote a memoir in 2011 detailing the difficulties that came with her daughter’s unexplained absence.
In the book, ‘Madeleine: Our daughter’s disappearance and the continuing search for her’, Kate explained her “horror” when she found a note from her holiday apartment complex in Portuguese police files a year after their doomed holiday.
She wrote: “It wasn’t until a year later, when I was combing through Portuguese police files, that I discovered the note.”
She and her husband Gerry were not allowed to look at the investigation files until more than a year after Madeleine vanished.
When the documents were released to the public, Kate said she spent six months examining the 5,000 pages of information — one of which pointed to a particular message.
It was a message left by a member of staff, after the McCanns and their seven adult friends made an 8.30pm booking at the tapas restaurant where they had been eating every evening
It was difficult for the restaurant to accommodate the nine adults alone, so “after having a word with the receptionist at the pool and tapas area”, the group were pencilled in for a table for the rest of their week.
All of the adults collectively agreed to go back and check on their own children — there were eight in total — back at the nearby resort at various times throughout each mealtime.
Kate continued: “The note requesting to get a block booking was written in a staff message book, which sat on a desk at the pool reception for most of the day.
“This book was by definition accessible to all staff and, albeit unintentionally, probably to guests and visitors, too.
“To my horror, I saw that no doubt in all innocence and simply to explain why she was bending the rules a bit, the receptionist had added the reason for our request: we wanted to eat close to our apartments as we were leaving our young children alone there and checking on them intermittently."
She added "we now bitterly regret" this decision, and "will do so until the end of our days".
This month on their website, findmadeleine.com, Kate and her husband Gerry wrote: “Every May is tough — a reminder of years passed, of years together lost, or stolen.
“This year it is particularly poignant as we should be celebrating Madeleine’s 18th birthday.
“Enough said.
“The Covid pandemic has made this year even more difficult for many reasons but thankfully the investigation to find Madeleine and her abductor has continued.”

They added that they “hang on to the hope” that they will see their beloved daughter again.
In 2014, the McCanns also spoke to the BBC’s Fiona Bruce and explained why they still had some optimism that Madeleine would be found one day.
Gerry said: “Very early on we got advice from NCMEC, saying that there are a whole lot of reasons children get taken, that’s the first thing.
“They’ve recovered hundreds of children in unusual circumstances.
“I suppose the scenario, and it's not been ruled out, Madeleine was taken by someone who wants a child and she’s being loved and cared for, that’s the best scenario, but of course there are many others.”
Kate also wrote in her memoir about the other cases of abduction where the children were recovered many years later.
She concluded: “How many more children are out there waiting to be found?”
Last June, Madeleine's case came back into the public eye when German authorities revealed a 43-year-old German prisoner, identified as Christian B, was considered a suspect.
German investigators classed it as a murder inquiry, with one prosecutor Hans Christian Wolter telling the BBC that the public would “come to the same conclusion” as him that Madeleine was likely to be dead if they “knew the evidence we had”.
'Madeleine: Our daughter's disappearance and the continuing search for her' by Kate McCann was published in 2011 by Transworld Publishers Ltd and is available here.

Ok so there’s a new ‘trend’ of people on TikTok claiming they’re Madeleine McCann
This is… weird?
5 hours ago Hayley Soen
Last week, there was a girl who went viral on TikTok saying she thought she could be missing British girl Madeleine McCann. But now, it looks like the video has become part of a much wider “trend” as TikTok is literally flooded with people claiming they’re Madeleine McCann too.
This comes 14 years after Madeleine disappeared when she was aged three, from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on May 3rd 2o07. Ahead of Madeleine’s 18th birthday this week, her parents Kate and Gerry have said they “hang onto hope” that they will find her, in a statement posted on the Find Madeleine website.
In the first video, an unnamed TikTok user points at captions which read: “My mates joke about me being Madeleine McCann.” It then goes on to claim that the girl in the video was staying in the Praia da Luz area at the same time as the disappearance.
The video didn’t go down well, with comments calling it “sick” and others asking “why would someone joke about this?”.
A further video claims the creator has an apartment in Praia da Luz which they have been going to for as long as they can remember. She says she is the same age as Madeleine, and when she was younger her parents were stopped in an airport and asked to prove she wasn’t the missing girl.
Another TikTok video seems to poke fun at the whole “trend”, literally sharing photos saying her parents are Kate and Gerry McCann. She claims she looks exactly like Madeleine and hasn’t been able to find a birth certificate under her own name. Someone in the comments said: “On which planet is this considered funny?”.
There are a number of videos where creators share pictures of themselves as children, and then compare them to pictures of Madeleine. One shares a childhood picture saying it’s a “popular opinion” that she looks like Madeleine McCann, before asking viewers to share their thoughts. Another also posts comparative pictures before concluding that she often gets “accused” of being Madeleine and that she had to “prove to police I wasn’t her”.
Another video comes from an ex-Leeds Uni student, who famously went viral in 2017 when she posted screenshots from in her group chat saying she thinks she is Madeleine McCann. In the new video, captioned “when you can’t leave the house without being recognised for being Madeleine McCann”, she poses alongside all the news stories at the time of when she shared her theory.
Even more strange, there are a number of users impersonating Madeleine, and changing their profile pictures and bios to look as if they are her – when she went missing. They are also commenting on videos as though they are her.

Very indeed. Why do people feel the need to mock a dead child? It's just hideous. Disturbing.
