For every pound donated and swallowed up by salaries around 25p goes towards what exactly?

Maybe you missed a very significant P there. I am sure Jimmy Saville would have been a great supporter of this so called charity.
We already have the likes of Cliff Richard, Stephen Fry and Jim Gamble supporting this sham.

The cost of fundraising, which partly includes salaries amounted to £473,033
Then we have an explanation

I've been looking through his wiki page and was glad to find this link though - the Royal Marines erased the memory of Jimmy Saville.

My dad was a Royal Marine Commando based at Lympstone and I was born there!
Here's Saville - looking more like Captain Sensible - with his honorary green beret that was bestowed upon him just because he completed the assault course. I met him once at one of the parades
