I know you mentioned yesterday that you hadn't watched it yet, just wondering what your take on it is?Get'emGonçalo wrote:

Re: Sky1 documentary: Searching for Madeleine
I will have to watch it again, but I thought it was better than the BBC documentary.
I'm more interested now to see how far Colin Sutton will take his accusations of Misconduct in Public Office.

Re: Sky1 documentary: Searching for Madeleine
Grrrrrrr!
Madeleine McCann's disappearance has naff all to do with Brunt, Gamble, Sutton - they weren't involved with any official investigation.
They have nothing to offer Madeleine. This circus is just more misleading inaccurate sensationalism.
Ignore and move on - the show must go on......

I haven't watched the BBC one yet, from what I've read about it, don't think I could stomach it.Get'emGonçalo wrote:I will have to watch it again, but I thought it was better than the BBC documentary.

Colin Sutton said he was going to return to this forum once the doc had aired didn't he. Wonder if he's had a change of heart, or been warned off.

But don't you think the more people who highlight the facts or plant seeds of doubt the better?Verdi wrote: Grrrrrrr!

I am sure there are people who watched the Sky doc who didn't have doubts before do so now. IMO that can only be a good thing.

Re: Sky1 documentary: Searching for Madeleine
I'm not so sure. I tried watching it from a non-follower perspective:
The Portuguese bungled the investigation - they are to blame for Maddie never being found
SY couldn't do a good investigation because of the PJ errors
Gonçalo is a nutcase and so was removed
Even the ex Portuguese Prime Minister sneered at him
The dogs indicated but there was no evidence to back them up
The PJ misinterpreted the FSS report
The shutter could be opened, as demonstrated
Maddie has been abducted
The parents are innocent
PJ and SY are going to close with no results.
Even I almost believed it
Oh, hang on...I'm getting it mixed up with the BBC doc.

Re: Sky1 documentary: Searching for Madeleine
Why should any doubts be created by watching this disgraceful episode in the history of Madeleine McCann's disppearance? I'ts a display of 100% bias in favour of the McCann's innocence - even fence-sitter Colin Sutton couldn't provide any reason to doubt, all he did was reinforce the status quo tha't led to total stagnation of any official UK/Portuguese investigation.princess_leia wrote:But don't you think the more people who highlight the facts or plant seeds of doubt the better?Verdi wrote: Grrrrrrr!

The documentary (or whatever it's supposed to be), is factually incorrect and thus totally mesleading, it's primary objective is to smear the already much maligned Portuguese police and the initial case coordinator Goncalo Amaral, at the same time, disregarding the importance of Eddie and Keela
Apart from that what it did had to offer?
The back of Brunt's head, right ear'ole and wayward wig which holds no attraction for me.
The secrect report produced by the hand of the McCanns friend and confidente - Jim gamble
Mark Rowley who couldn't provide a reasonable excuse for the continuation of Operation Grange. Should be sacked - he's a disgrace to the polilce force
Alan Johnson ex-Home Secretary who should most definitely should NOT be opining on an active criminal police investigation
Ernie Allen from the US of A has his say about missing children - and we all know about him!
The only unique thing about this case is a mass cover-up by the establishment.

i-team Mccanni
I did see a guy who I knew when we lived in neighbouring villages in Lincolnshire so it was good to see he was still alive & kicking.
The Panorama shutter demo looked staged to me.
The shutter was already open a few inches before the clip started & the window was already open otherwise it couldn't have been slid across from the outside as they have an automatic snap locks as soon as the window is closed.
Still it'll be enough to convince some of the sheeples that all the 'evidence' points to an intruder.
Although the Sky doc wasn't as openly biased as the BBC doc, it still didn't highlight anything that was anti-team McCann.Get'emGonçalo wrote:I'm not so sure. I tried watching it from a non-follower perspective:
