Madeleine McCann's parents are planning to sue Karen Danczuk over cruel tweets accusing them of having 'guilt' over their daughter's disappearance.
Ms Danczuk, the estranged wife of Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk, has come under fire after her explosive tweets regarding Kate and Gerry McCann yesterday.
She tweeted: 'Anyone who says McCanns are innocent, just remember they left 3 children under the age of 4 alone to go out. Either Way they have guilt! KD'
Sources close to the family have revealed that the couple, who face the 10th anniversary of their daughter's disappearance in a matter of weeks, are aware of the comments as are their lawyers.

'These minor celebrities think they can say what they want without a shred of evidence and simply rehash all the old rumours. They seem to believe talking about Madeleine's case helps raise their profile.'
Ms Danczuk posted a series of tweets about the McCanns after seeing a report that they had nearly been tricked into giving money to Shannon Matthews, who faked her daughter's kidnap.
The mother, who found fame by posting selfies of herself online, claimed that 'someone on a council estate' would have been treated differently.
But the 33-year-old was criticised by some of her 72,000 followers, with many pointing out there was no evidence for her claims.
Ryan Lamb‏ tweeted: 'They've lost their child and experienced more pain than anyone could imagine. Doubt they need your insensitive judgement now.'
Karen Bleakley‏ wrote: 'Aww Karen really sad you have taken such a harsh view they made a mistake and will have to live with that for rest of lives.'
And another Twitter user added: 'Are you telling me they haven't been punished. They live every day suffering. Stop judging!'
The McCanns were having tapas with friends close to their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal on the night in 2007 when Maddie disappeared.

Maddie and twins Sean and Amelie had been left asleep at 8.30pm in the ground-floor apartment, while Kate and Gerry dined in a restaurant 180ft away.
The parents checked on the children throughout the evening, until Madeleine's mother discovered she was missing at 10pm.
Local police and a £13million Scotland Yard inquiry failed to unearth any significant clues as to where she went.
The McCanns, who are said to get around 150 abusive messages every day, have not commented on Ms Danczuk's tweets.
Following a similar attack on them by model Jodie Marsh recently, a source close to the couple said: 'Kate and Gerry won't be saying anything to fuel this whirlwind of nonsense. They don't want to give these peoples' egos even more exposure.'

KAREN DANCZUK could face legal action over cruel tweets attacking the parents of Madeleine McCann, a close pal revealed today.

Her shocking outburst against Kate and Gerry “is worthy of being investigated by their lawyers”, their friend said.

The couple who face the heartbreaking 10th anniversary of their daughter’s disappearance in weeks, are said to be “angry and upset” by the growing number of public rants they are subjected to.

The former wife of Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk said Maddie’s parents “have guilt” in a brutal in online post yesterday.

She tweeted: “Anyone who says McCanns are innocent, just remember they left 3 children under the age of 4 alone to go out. Either Way they have guilt!”

The McCann’s friend: “People need to remember that the family’s lawyers are kept fully informed of all social media and broadcast remarks which are malicious and libellous.

“Their representative is fully aware of what Karen Danczuk and others are posting.

“If anything is believed to libel them it is immediately brought to the attention of their top lawyers Carter-Ruck.

“Kate and Gerry still get angry and upset by some of the wicked things said about them. And they worry their 12-year-old twins Sean and Amelie who use the internet may see them too.”

Furious followers questioned where the 33-year-old, who recently revealed how she was sexually abused by her own brother as a child, where she was getting her information.

One said: “They’ve lost their child and experienced more pain than anyone could imagine. Doubt they need your insensitive judgement now.”

The McCanns, who are subjected to 150 abusive messages from Twitter trolls every day, were on holiday in Portugal when three-year-old Madeleine went missing in May 2007.

Gerry and Kate had left their three children – including toddler twins Sean and Amelie – sleeping in their apartment while they dined at a nearby tapas bar with friends.

The McCanns and their friends left the restaurant roughly every half-hour to check on their children.

When Kate returned to check on the kids about 10pm that evening she discovered that Maddie was not in her bed and was missing.
The source close to heart doctor Gerry and ex GP Kate, both 48, from Rothley, Leics, added: “Any posts that are really offensive or a lie are prima facie defamatory and will be flagged up to lawyers so they can take action if necessary.

Ms Danczuk posted a series of tweets after it was revealed Kate and Gerry had nearly been tricked into giving £25,000 from the Maddie Fund money to Karen Matthews, who faked daughter Shannon’s kidnap.

The 33-year-old, who found fame by posting selfies of herself, has even been blasted by some of her followers for her rant against the McCanns who say there was no evidence for her claims.

Three year old Maddie vanished from a holiday apartment in Portugal’s Praia da Luz in May 2007.

Kate and Gerry’s spokesman Clarence Mitchell said today: “We are aware of Ms Danczuk’s comments and we are simply not going to fuel this nonsense by talking about it.”

Jodie Marsh recently launched a similar Twitter attack, slamming the McCanns while apparently watching investigative journalist Mark Williams-Thomas being interviewed on This Morning about the case.

The model, 38, blasted: “In my opinion it’s all going to come crashing down for the McCanns….”.

She added: “I must admit, if it were my child I’d be on my hands & knees digging up the earth with my bare hands! Nothing else would matter…..”

Karen Danczuk, estranged wife of Rochdale MP Simon, has gone on a bizarre rant over Madeleine McCann blaming her parents for her disappearance.
Kate and Gerry McCann are now said to be considering suing her as they approach the 10th anniversary of Maddie’s disappearance.
She said: ‘Anyone who says McCanns are innocent, just remember they left 3 children under the age of 4 alone to go out. Either Way they have guilt! KD’
Her tweet is believed to be in response to a report that the McCanns were on the verge of handing £25,000 to the search for Shannon Matthews after her mother, Karen, faked her death.
It is believed the McCanns are now considering consulting Carter Ruck, specialists in defamation and libel.
A friend of the McCanns described Danczuk as a ‘minor celebrity’, adding: ‘People need to remember that the family’s lawyers are kept fully informed of all social media and broadcast remarks which are malicious and libellous.

The comments on The Mail online were very supportive of KD. The most popular comment was from 'Oldie' who received almost 3000 thumbs up votes for saying he agreed with KD. The least population comments were all from people who trotted out the usual platitudes such as they've suffered enough and show some compassion.

Of course they won't sue, they just want to appear to object to it whilst all the time it suits their mysterious abductor narrative.

   Hopefully Mr Amaral's book will come out soon, they won't be able to keep pretending they will sue everyone who comments on it.

Well they would have sued LSS wouldn't they if they'd dared to say anything to the " grieving " parents who were busy " leaving no stones unturned "

They will not sue, KD has not said anything "nasty" she has just tweeted the truth. It is not an attack, it is freedom of speech in opinion on the case. 
So if Gerry & Kate are "set to sue", on what grounds? 

They would have to prove that KD's words were not true and defamatory! At most they could do is make a "complaint" which is what they are doing via MSM as they play the McCann

  to squash recent reports of them being NOT CLEARED in their daughter's disappearance. 
Well guess what, we all read it, we heard it and have read the PJ files.
Not cleared means not cleared and if they want to prove why they should be cleared, then instead of threatening to sue or making threats of, get back to Portugal, do the reconstruction, take lie detector tests, and be re-interviewed and tell the truth instead of erms, ifs, not sure, can't remember, maybe!

Want to be cleared, then clear yourselves!

Or are they not happy that KD said they should feel guilt at the "neglect"?  of 3 babies. 

Cant have it all ways, either they do feel that and accept responsibility for "neglecting" their children, or they don't feel guilty because they really didn't "neglect" their children?

Either way they are complicit in the disappearance of Madeleine. She was under their care!

As so far the monies have been used to fund legal bills!

Thousands of people go missing every year but the media doesn't usually bother. 

However, the disappearance of a three-year-old British girl from her parents' holiday accommodation in Portugal has become a massive news story. 

I suspect that the media has persuaded us that the Drs McCanns deserve our sympathy because they are nice middle class parents and Madeleine is a pretty photogenic child. The fact that there are lots of pictures available helps. 

Family and friends have used a compliant media to build the story into a variety of mass hysteria matching that which followed Diana's death. 

The disappearance of Madeleine McCann has been considered such a good story that British television has consistently led with it as the main news item for weeks. Most newspapers have kept the story on their front page. 

But has this really been the most important news story? For example, on May 17th, one of days that the two week old story of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann was considered the most important news item in Britain, here are some of the news stories that were considered less important: 

* Gordon Brown was officially announced as Britain's next Prime Minister 

* The World Bank met to consider whether or not to get rid of its President Paul Wolfowitz 

* The Government announced that it would close a fifth of all Post Offices in the country. (A total of 2,500 villages and communities deprived of their link with the outside world.) 

* The Israelis launched air strikes on Palestinians in Gaza 

* The British Army and the Government decided that Prince Harry would not serve in Iraq because it was too dangerous for a member of the Royal Family to fight there. (Despite this, Harry decided that he would stay in the army though it was not made clear precisely what he would do.) 

* War criminals Tony Blair and George Bush met in the USA to defend their war record. Blair described Bush as a great leader. 

* British soldiers continued to fight wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (though without members of the Royal family). 




When three-year-old Madeleine McCann disappeared she was alone with her younger siblings in a ground floor holiday apartment rented by her parents. They had gone out to dinner. 

Let's get this straight. 

The Drs McCann didn't have to rush out in an emergency. They could, presumably, have hired a baby sitter. They chose not to. They chose to leave their three very small children in a flat in a foreign country while they went out to have a good time in a restaurant. 

What is going on here? 

Why haven't the parents been interviewed by social workers? 

Is it now legal for British parents to leave their tiny children alone while they go out for fun? 

The McCanns left three children alone. The oldest was three-years-old. 

The last time I looked, teenage mothers got into trouble if they popped out to the shops to get a pint of milk and a loaf of bread and left their children alone. 

Under British law parents can be charged with neglect or abandonment if they leave their children alone if it is unsafe to do so. 

It clearly was unsafe to leave these three small children alone. One of them is now missing. 

The McCanns chose to go out to have a good time leaving three small children alone in a flat in a foreign country. 

These were not impoverished teenagers who didn't know any better. They are thirty-eight-year-old doctors. 

What sort of example were they setting? 

What sort of example are media commentators who excuse them setting? 

Where are the interfering, busy body social workers when they're really needed? 

Most media commentators seem to think that the McCanns did nothing wrong. The arguments seem to be that parents must be able to leave their small children alone in the world and that parents are entitled to lead lives without having their children around them all the time. 

Huh? 

People who become parents take on enormous responsibilities. 

Small children are vulnerable. They fall over. They wake up frightened. They see ghosts in shadows. They fall out of bed. They are vulnerable. 

Small children are vulnerable. 

But society rewards parents in many ways for their decision. And having children is a choice. 

If the Drs McCann wanted to have romantic holidays in the Algarve without having their fun evenings spoilt by children they shouldn't have had any children. 

(And they could, remember, have hired a baby sitter.) 

They chose to have children. And they chose to take them away to Portugal. And they chose to leave them alone while they went out to dinner. 

Personally, I'd arrest the pair of them for child neglect. 

Whatever happened to Madeleine they must take a huge amount of responsibility. 

Personally, I don't think either of them are responsible enough to work as doctors. 

Responsible parents don't leave their children alone in a foreign country. 

Being a parent is a 24 hour responsibility. 






The media and the public seem to regard this pair as victims. 

But in my view there is only one victim. 

Madeleine is the victim. 

Whatever has happened to her is clearly awful. 

I feel so, so sorry for her. 

But the parents? 

Sorry, but I just don't think they deserve our sympathy. 

The parents have now taken indefinite leave from their jobs. 

(I wonder if they're still getting paid for any NHS work they aren't doing? Just a thought.) 

They and their family and friends seem to have become media celebrities. Other celebrities are falling over themselves to get involved. 

The parents are alleged to be hiring a professional public relations adviser and two London lawyers. A trust is allegedly being set up to handle the money being raised. Why? What the hell is going on? 

Why do they need lawyers and a publicity adviser? 

And why do they need a trust? 

These aren't impoverished people. They are both doctors. 

Their combined annual income is probably the best part of £200,000. Personally, I would not be surprised to see the Drs McCann on Celebrity Big Brother next year. 

A cynic might say that at least they won't need to bother getting babysitters for whatever children they might have got left by then. 

They could just leave 'em at home alone.

Wonder how many teeth Clarence ( aka a source close to the family ) actually has left in his mouth ?    

Surely she is only saying what the Portuguese Supreme court said.

The mccanns have not and were never cleared of involvement in Maddie's disappearance (read death)

If they have not been cleared then they are to be considered guilty or at least suspected of guilt.

They were also offered ample chances to clear themselves of involvement and refused to do so which again would seem to confirm their guilt.

Innocent people cooperate, guilty people don't due to fear of the consequences.

The mccanns and chums refused to cooperate.

Former Rochdale councillor Karen Danczuk has told This Morning that she would call social services if she spotted young children left alone by their parents
Karen, the estranged wife of MP Simon Danczuk, told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she would never leave her children on their own.

Karen, who has two young boys Milton and Maurice, took part in a debate on the ITV1 chat show entitled ‘Is leaving your child alone a sign of neglect?’
She said: “I would never in a million years think of leaving my babies in any incident where I’m not there.
“As far as I’m concerned anything can happen.”
And she said “of course” she would ring social services if she spotted a young child left alone.
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children says children under 12 are rarely mature enough to be left alone for a long period of time, children under 16 shouldn’t be left alone overnight and babies, toddlers and very young children should never be left alone.

At the weekend ‘Selfie Queen’ Karen came under fire after she spoke out on Twitter about Kate and Gerry McCann.
She tweeted: “Anyone who says McCanns are innocent, just remember they left 3 children under the age of 4 alone to go out. Either Way they have guilt! KD”

I think they would find it hard to sue her as really she is only reinforcing what the McCanns have been pushing since the news of Madeleine's disappearance broke, that they DID leave their kids on their own even if it was like being in their back garden and they checked them every half hour.
Now if she had only mentioned that the McCanns had told all their family and friends that the shutters had been jemmied, the door smashed and Madeleine taken from her bed by a paedophile gang and then changed their story - well that would have been more helpful.

I would suggest that the KD story is a non-starter.  Not only did she NOT say anything remotely contentious about the McCanns but her Twitter account is carefully managed.

KD has been warranted many column inches through this McCann - to keep her in the limelight.

Her managing agency is Borne Media, an agency made up of a number of executives from Max Clifford’s former PR agency, including his daughter Louise, to look after her public image.

She did Tweet that the parents drugged Madeleine, just like Matthews (her words), in order to go out and get drunk, I can no longer find that Tweet and I didn't take a screen shot. It was 5th March I think.

If she did tweet that, ( I haven't seen) would not the MCCanns have to prove they didn't, as they themselves planted the suggestion that the children could have been by an "abductor" of which there is zero evidence of! 


Can't help wondering if the latest articles are simply to push "neglect"?
