One supporter of Goncalo Amaral wrote on Facebook: "I donated too and I will keep donating - this man deserves to have his say"

The Mirror's article (and I haven't yet read all of it) has not referred to us as trolls!!!! What is going on ??????

a small excerpt from the article.... The use of the word above 'Brits' kind of implies we decent reasonable Brits are standing together to support Amaral - clapping

"I also donated and every penny was worth it," another said.

Those supportive of Amaral have been labelled "trolls".

Another wrote: "So proud [to be] one of them 'trolls' who donated money to a good man who was simply doing his job."

Set up last April, the GoFundMe page now appears to have been taken down by the crowdfunding site's bosses.

It was initially set up by Leanne Baulch, from Birmingham, who has since distanced herself from the campaign.

Yes SammyC - definitely changes and shifts...it almost comes across as supportive of the donators..

Interesting how MSM want to get their 'fill' now Amaral has won...where was the 'reporting' to highlight Amarals plight and the GoFundMe when it was active? MSM have made a fortune not only in the McCanns name (of which they have been recompensed) but in GA's good name! I hope he sue's the pants off them all!

As for them all now allowing comments without censorship, wonder whose ' seal of approval' was gained?!?!?!?

The comments are still there cos someone has sent me a copy of them to post here, but I can't see them anymore - it looks like I've been banned cos I left 3 links (one of them was deleted which was a link to GA's book in English, the other two links were to this forum and Richard's 'Madeleine' films).

I can't see if the DM article re trolls has been posted on here? I didn't want to post it and duplicate but the comments are still on there and almost all very pro Madeleine. Three of mine made the cut. Is it a bit optimistic to think that the ones that didn't were only omitted because they made reference where to find GA's book online in English and that's not technically legal?

My guess would be that the Mirror didn't label the donators as trolls because GEG posted re. The Sun article to say that she had made complaints to different bodies.
