Expect to see crecheman live in the studio explaining why he was walking backwards to Christmas while holding a child in an uncomfortable position and looking for a lost blanket. On the table: a pair of child's pyjamas which Kirsty Young will hold up for the nation to see.

Old Andy will be hunkered down at HQ and Kirsty will be shooting the crap via video link about how there's always "hoop". She will then blather on about Gerry telling her off-camera that statistics show the younger the child when taken, the more chance of it turning up one day.

Meanwhile, behind old Andy's head, the inky backdrop begins to ribbon and form an image of hell freezing over.

His face will still be pixilated. Crecheman has to be a man of mystery. So mysterious that he does not exist.

Nay, a man of International Mystery.

Funny how this is all cranked up a gear since Goncalo's interview.

What I really want to know is: why the close up of the duck on the swimming pool in the CW recon?  I want Andy to reveal why, in the German version, the camera lingered a bit longer than the UK version and the duck was lying dead on its side.

I want answers.

This is the blurb for tonight's Crimewatch. No mention of Madeleine - must be a reason for the last minute inclusion.

BBC Crimewatch
19/03/2014

Duration: 1 hour

The Crimewatch team present the latest crime news and appeals.

Five years on from the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence, police reveal new information about her movements before she went missing and appeal to find two vehicles seen in the area at the time.

Also, after January's programme aired footage of English Defence League protestors rioting in Birmingham, dozens of viewers got in touch. This programme shows what happened when Crimewatch cameras accompanied the police to track down the suspects.

Plus new crimes caught on camera and a fresh collection of wanted faces

IMO they are giving Goncalo Amaral the finger.

How long until Crimewatch screens where you are? I'm in South Australia and it's 9.48pm here, do I go to bed now or will I be waiting a while on here for a nugget of info? Many thanks in advance :)

A phone call to the papers could have saved a lot of time because that's where those stories originated from.

Scotland Yard have had three years to appeal for info on previous abduction attempts. Why are they suddenly shoving this on tonight's Crimewatch at the last minute? Amaral or the libel trial? It has to be one or the other.

Apparently police are hunting an attacker that attacked 12 British children between 2004-10.

It's happening on Twitter. This attacker has broken into apartments in the Algarve and only attacked British children.

Assaulted 5 British girls. Obviously the Portuguese police are covering things up or we're dealing with a Nationlist paedophile.

When did Hewlett die again?

Yes by the looks of it. He's probably racist too.

Well Mr Redwood could direct himself to back issues of The Sun and other similar publications.  All of the creepy men stories have been well documented over the years.

Alternatively he could give Kate a call.  Didn't she tell us she had letters from sympathetic almost victims of the burglar/abductor/creepy man and she had come across relevant information during the course of her translation work / investigation ?

I do hope he is not too shocked when he learns the statistics for child abduction in that area are probably shockingly close to zero.  That should sink in circa Christmas 2024, in time for a new message from Kate.

South Australia time is 10.5 hours ahead of the UK; Crimewatch airs at 9pm UK time which is 7.30am for you.   Sweet dreams...

The garbage about 'police seeking intruder who sexually assaulted girls between 2004-06' is on the BBC news website now.

Halfway through this rampage he managed to dispose of the world's most famous child without leaving a trace, but he continued to attack British children until 2010.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
