INTRODUCTION
This unique crime scene reconstruction, was first broadcast by the independent CMTV channel on the 16th of November, 2013 – sensibly a month after the much publicized and criticized British Broadcasting Corp variations on the same theme.

Unlike their exonerating British colleagues, CMTV’s objective approach focuses, not on the extant [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but, on the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] aspects of the case itself.

Much to the programme credibility, CMTV enlists the participation of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] – the former PJ senior detective who coördinated the initial phase of the investigation back in 2007 – and the university professor and criminologist Francisco Moita Flores.

In the opinion of the experts, this unique crime scene reconstruction offers the best in-depth analysis of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance so far, and its findings deserve the attention of the Portuguese Public Prosecutor.

It does annoy me that this group of doctors have given the Portuguese the impression that British people are in the habit of leaving the children in bed and going to the nearest restaurant or pub.

The part of Goncalo's theory of what transpired that I have a problem with is that he appears to be of the opinion that the McCann's daughter died in an accident at the apt. whilst they weren't present.

Unless I'm missing an important point here, this simply doesn't configure, because it would not necessitate the disposal of Madeleine's body and simulation of a kidnapping. Even the most intellectually challenged being on the face of the planet would not feel the need to turn an accident into a crime. If a genuine accident had occurred to their daughter whilst she was not in the presence, certainly there would have been initial claims of neglect, but there would still have been overwhelming sympathy for the loss they had incurred.

Apart from anything else, it would have been a comparatively easy task to have made the accident appear to have occurred whilst out of sight, but in their presence, certainly a far simpler and safer gambit than the one they appear to have embarked on. There are only two logical possibilities in this case, the first and most unlikely being that Madeleine was kidnapped, but for what reason, the McCanns weren't wealthy people and there was no ransom demand. Admittedly the McCanns are offering the hypothesis that she was abducted by a paedophile, but this makes no sense whatsover when one considers that they are also of the opinion that no harm has come to her. Lets have it right, paedophiles are not renown for making good foster parents.

The second and most likely logical possibility is that it wasn't an accident and that the McCanns contributed to the death of their daughter, hence the need to avoid an autopsy report. Only then does the disposal of Madeleine's body and simulation of a kidnapping make sense.

Too right suzyjohnson! We British have a bad press overseas to start with. I can imagine people overseas looking at the Mccanns and thinking 'if British Doctors think it is reasonable to do this what are the rest of the Brits up to with their childcare arrangements'. When my own son was the McCann children's age I had just got to the stage where if we were alone in the house I would go to the loo on my own (very quickly) when he was three, but when he was the twins age I would take him with me.

I cannot in my worst nightmare imagine leaving my child alone at that age. They had so many options too, not only babysitters and the late night crèche - I have been on countless holidays and seen small children asleep in pushchairs by the side of their parents while they have their evening meal. There was a group of them so they didn't even have to do that - what is wrong with e.g. all the men dining together then all the women dining together so that the children were safe? Or even couples taking turns dining together while another couple babysat.

You can have countless holidays and nights out during your lifetime, looking after your children for a few years while they are still children is priceless.
