The baby was allegedly abducted the previous night yet they waited until the following afternoon to report the abduction??

The father has a history of domestic abuse and the baby supposedly had health issues.?

This does not look good.

OK, to clarify.

The couple reported the child missing the same evening, the Wednesday.

But the police had already come across the couple after the time they say the child went missing, and the couple did not indicate any problem.

Boules is not a solo game.
Rural France is full of lakes that are surrounded by a fair amount of open field or space. In an isolated open field area it is impossible for her not to have noticed a stranger sneaking up on her? This is a couple from the other end of the social class spectrum without the means or connections to rally the media, the rich and influential, to use them as tools to spin to their side. Neither did they have enablers jumping onto the bandwagon encouraging them to set up fund.

The Police were able to do their job without outside interfering and nail the case in under two days.
